A New Semester is Upon Us. As Are Commissions?
General | Posted 11 years agoYup, Spring semester starts tomorrow. But the highlight of my degree plan was last semester. I don't THINK this semester should be nearly as taxing, but we'll see. For now, commissions are still open for those interested. Note me first! And check out the new commission sheet here -> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15451624/
Semester is OVER! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
General | Posted 11 years agoHuge weight lifted off my shoulders! I'm free!...Until the middle of January, that is.
Week of Finals and Plans
General | Posted 11 years agoThis upcoming week marks final exams, and then it'll all be over. I've definitely got a lot of plants for winter break, ranging from toons and commissions, to taking the driver's license exam, to working on my game development stuff. Almost there, guys!
Pre-emptive Birthday Thanks~
General | Posted 11 years agoI'm making a journal to thank everyone who wishes me a happy birthday today. Very much appreciated guys~ Replying to each individual one to say thanks, though, is time consuming, so I'm doing it here. I hope you all have a swell day too!
Semester, Commishs, Five Nights At Freddy's Op.
General | Posted 11 years agoSemester is steadily cruising along. So far, it's not too heavy, but soon, things will be picking up.
I'll be trying to tackle some commissions today. Some of you may receive a sketch in your inbox at some point today.
As for this Five Nights At Freddy's craze, I have yet to play it, but from all I've seen of it through videos, I'm not enticed to either.
The game is basically those gimmicky FMV Sega CD games Night Trap and Double Switch, with derpy-looking animatronics, that relies too heavily on jumpscares....not that I've found anything scary in the first place. Having been steeled by Resident Evil 3 on the PS1 when I was a very young kid, most horror things don't scare me. In fact, what usually ends up happening at the supposed scary parts is me laughing at the pure absurdity of the situation, if I'm not annoyed by the sounds the monsters make at an attempt to be scary.
I keep seeing threads and fan art all over the place talking about how innovative the game is...when the whole gameplay style has already been done quite a few times before. The only thing they added was a usage limit on the cameras. There's about as much gameplay here as the aforementioned Sega CD games; you just sit around and wait for things to happen, pressing a button when the time seems right. In other words, it's a giant Quick Time Event game, and these kinds of games aren't my cup of tea.

Status on Pending Commissions
General | Posted 11 years agoI'll try to get to them in the coming week. My attention's been shifting between collab stuff and gamedev stuff, not to mention the extreme heat lately, which has been turning me off from being productive a lot. No worries though, I still have your notes!
No BG Commissions For Now.
General | Posted 11 years agoI really need to practice drawing those on my own, and I'd rather not have you guys pay for something that's not going to turn out so good.
As of Today, Commissions RE-OPEN! NOTE ME!
General | Posted 11 years agoSemester is over, stress is over for a while, time is not being violated.
Semester Over Thursday, Commissions @ Weekend
General | Posted 11 years agoBasically all in the title.
Commissions - What's Been Going On
General | Posted 11 years agoJust wanted to post an update about what's been doing on for those who were queued to do commission business with me.
When I accepted the ideas via notes, I was still in what I call "Toon Mode," where my motivation lies in drawing a few toons. A few days after, my motivation shifted over to what I call "Gamedev Mode," where I'm fixed on making progress on my game development projects. Lately, though, it's been a mixture of Gamedev Mode and College mode, since I've had many projects and presentations due over the span of the last two weeks, and still have some upcoming ones. So my attention is severely divided. I'm not sure when I'll start tackling the commissions (now you guys know another reason I don't accept money up front, so I'm not holding anyone's money hostage), but I'm hoping it'll be some time soonish.

Open For the Next Batch of Commissions...
General | Posted 12 years agoStill doing simple single character, backgroundless $7 completed commissions for now. If you've already noted me before, you will be presented with a sketch either tonight or tomorrow morning, as I plan on starting the next batch tonight :). Anyone else up for one? I'm all ears...err, keyboard! After all...there's no audio present in notes XD.
Will Try To Submit Commissions Tonight....
General | Posted 12 years agoI've almost got all 4 base colored...just been pipelining them one after the other for the same phase x3. Once the colored lines are done it goes by relatively quickly~ IF you're waiting on a sketch for a commission idea, I'll start on those after I submit this batch.
Commissions: Paid Will Be Uploaded Tonight, More?
General | Posted 12 years agoPretty much at the last stretch for the paid ones. Anyone else want a simple single character, background less, completed picture for only $7? Note me!
Doing Single Character Commissions (Discount)~
General | Posted 12 years agoLet's keep it short and simple~ I want to get something, and you guys could help with that greatly~ But let's make these commissions simple and straightforward by limiting it to a single character each (Also, I don't do backgrounds).
For the time being, I'll do full colored, shaded pictures for just $7. Note me if you're interested~

Opening Single Character Commissions.
General | Posted 12 years agoIt's summer, and I still need a job. However, I'll open this medium as well, but keep it quaint, so I can still work on my other ambitions.
Just a simple single character commission is what I'm doing.
Prices:
Sketch: $5.
Digital Inking + Color: $10.
+$5 for Shading
Reasons for prices:
-It takes me a while to get something inked and colored.
-Shading also takes a while.
-It's close to, but still under, minimum wage.

Supeesu Seizon Demo Download
General | Posted 13 years agoWell the week is over, and I basically only have half of the new game done. It went from being a complete, endless game, to an incomplete, more content-stuffed, non-endless game, but that's okay. Since I'm at the halfway mark, I'll just go ahead and work on finishing it, no time limit. That said, I have prepared a demo for you guys to play, as well as a new video to show what's in the demo (see link below). Have fun, and post any criticism and/or praise here.

Weekend Game Development
General | Posted 13 years agoA little challenge from a friend of mine, who was bored, and I accepted the challenge to sate his boredom by the end of a weekend by making a game for him to play. He played it and liked it, and I thought I'd share the results of my labor.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhOOoYr_UU8
I actually liked working with this a bit. I may very well turn this into a one-week development challenge and add more to it, and change a few things as well, since I was pressed for time.
If anyone wants a playable copy of what's in the video, just ask, and I'll post a link here.
