Posted 4 years agoOct.12, 2021 I gave birth to our little baby girl. It was a pretty straight forward delivery, except the 2 epidurals they tried didn't work. I've always needed extra freezing for dental work, but I've never had it just not work! So without planning it, we had a natural birth and I felt everything!! Ouch!!! But I was only in active labour/pushing for an hour before she was out. And she's perfect! 8lbs 1oz of healthy baby!!! Dad was a star too! Super helpful for every stage! I couldn't ask for a better husband/coach/back rubber ❤️
On the first day of Christmas...
Posted 5 years agoTomorrow, on 12/12/2020 this red panda is getting married to her fox!!! Our local covid regulations allows us to have a ceremony with only 10 guests, and no reception. But we decided to go ahead with it! Life goes on and we are so ready to be married!
I cannot wait to show some of our amazing photos (including our amazing dogs), and get some art of our special day!

Posted 6 years agoSo we commissioned one of our favourite artists to redraw our engagement photo. we have worked with her before, so we knew it was a good bet to drop $110 usd on her. the paypal fee took $6 of it, so we actually tipped her the extra $6 cause we trusted her. It is gorgeous, the background, the poses, just beautiful.
but, my red panda nose looks not quite right. a little off. so i asked her if she was willing to change it slightly. not the whole picture, not the pose, just my nose.
she said no, and blocked me.
all the money we spent.... the good faith we had in her.... and all i see when i look at it is my nose....
This is a once in a lifetime commission of our actual engagement and now every time i see that photo she redrew, all i can think of is how rude she was about it.

straal and i just spent 10 days in japan! it was our first trip there and we had an absolute blast!!!
We spent 2 nights in Osaka: found some great dive bars!!
1 day trip to Kyoto: Saw some beautiful shrines and enjoyed walking through small shopping areas
We went to the Ghibli museum, which was straal's favourite part! He bought me a howls moving castle/swarovski earring and necklace set
Stayed in the Tokyo Disney celebration (wish) hotel for 2 nights, which was by far the cutest hotel Disney has to offer
1 day in Disney Tokyo Sea, WHERE WE GOT ENGAGED at Magellan's: he seemed super nervous, and i was just treated like an absolute princess. He got me the People's Diamond Store: enchanted Disney collection MERIDA RING!!! (y'all should know how much i love Merida)We even got to watch the end of the fireworks when we left the restaurant!
1 day in Tokyo Disneyland, where we met Nick Wilde, and OWED the fastpass system!!! we got on every ride we wanted with time to spare!!!
Spent the last 5 nights at Miyabiyata Takemine, the perfect mix of traditional vs modern hotel. 100% recommend!!!
1 day in Shinjuku, where we went to the final fantasy cafe. and nakano
1 day in Akihabura, for all the best anime stuff, and Toshima for the pokemon center.
1 day in Harijuku/Shibuya, where i got to live out my lolita fantasy, meet Hachico, and go to Maru san's store (Instagram boi that i love)
1 day making our way back to Osaka (for our weird round trip flight to Tokyo with a 22 hr layover where we just went back to our hotel), where we stopped at Fushimi Inari Taisha.
and our final day day taking our sweet ass time to get to Narita airport, enjoying my last sweet potato frap from Starbucks, and last second shopping before our flight home.
It was a trip of a lifetime and neither of us would change any part of it!!!
Now, to plan a wedding!!

Posted 6 years ago straal and i just spent 10 days in japan! it was our first trip there and we had an absolute blast!!!
We spent 2 nights in Osaka: found some great dive bars!!
1 day trip to Kyoto: Saw some beautile shrines and enjoyed walking through small shopping areas
We went to the Ghibli museum, which was straal's favourite part! He bought me a howls moving castle/swarovski earring and necklace set
Stayed in the Tokyo Disney celebration (wish) hotel for 2 nights, which was by far the cutest hotel disney has to offer
1 day in Disney Tokyo Sea, WHERE WE GOT ENGAGED at Magellan's: he seemed super nervous, and i was just treated like an absolute princess. He got me the People's Diamond Store: enchanted Disney collection MERIDA RING!!! (y'all should know how much i love Merida)We even got to watch the end of the fireworks when we left the restaurant!
1 day in Tokyo Disneyland, where we met Nick Wilde, and OWED the fastpass system!!! we got on every ride we wanted with time to spare!!!
Spent the last 5 nights at Miyabiyata Takemine, the perfect mix of traditional vs modern hotel. 100% recommend!!!
1 day in Shinjuku, where we went to the final fantasy cafe. and nakano
1 day in Akihabura, for all the best anime stuff, and Toshima for the pokemon center.
1 day in Harijuku/Shibuya, where i got to live out my lolita fantasy, and meet Hachico, and go to Maru san's store (instagram boi that i love)
1 day making our way back to Osaka (for our weird round trip flight to tokyo with a 22 hr layover where we just went back to our hotel), where we stopped at Fushimi Inari Taisha.
and our final day day taking our sweet ass time to get to Narita airport, enjoying my last sweet potato frap from starbucks, and last second shopping before our flight home.
