Tonight I was interviewed for acceptance to the local Masonic Lodge. Over a year ago a friend pointed something out to me after my stroke. They said that likely one of the reasons I felt so lost and out of place is because I had a need to belong to a group like I was in the Marines. I'm likely getting voted in along with five others. Our little Lodge will be growing.

To that friend: Thank you. You helped more than you'll ever know.

It's that time of year where I see who I've talked to over the past year and who seems to not give a shit. If you are on my Skype or Steam and want to remain there please let me know. I'll be removing those that do not talk to me after Christmas. I've already started on those that I know do not wish to speak to me. I'll keep those that I watch on here. After a stroke destroyed the motor skills in my right side I can finally use my right hand to write legibly! I'm trying to use it now for all the things I used to before the stroke hit July 16th, 2013. Good things happen in October it seems.

You were not just my cat. You were my friend too. I will miss you greatly. I'm sorry I was asleep when you had your final moments and if you are able I hope you forgive me. I didn't know. But you knew you were loved for the six years  Vizaxyn and I were with you. You made our lives better and we will never forget you.

This morning  Vizaxyn and my little family unit got smaller. Our cat Kobold died around 2:00 am today. He was sick but looked like he was recovering. We plan on taking him to the park and burying him there.

I miss you, buddy cat.

Basically someone posts a lyric and the one that guesses correctly then goes and posts a lyric from a song of their choosing. It can't be anything super obscure like an ancient Sumarian song spell or something only someone that has studied the occult for three lifetimes might know. After about a month of writing and re-writing my gift story for  FayV is finished! I'll be posting it both here and on :iconSanita_Squirrel when the thumbnail is finished. There are a few cameos here and there in the story.

So far the first day of 2014 was good. If this is a taste of what is to come I am looking forward to it. I believe this will be a year of renewal for me.

I have begun a new spiritual path. I've been looking to Asatru as of late. The Nine Noble Virtues seem to speak to me. As I read more into it I see more that I like. This could be something that gets me back on track. I have been in a dreary state for so long but now I'm beginning to see a bright spot in my path.

I'm going to try to not be on the internet as much. I think some of my problems stem from spending too much time in the virtual world. I'm going to try to go out a bit more or just read. Maybe pick up a new hobby or two.

What are some of the things you wish to change this year?

I had a minor stroke. It started at work but I work up the next day in horror as my right side was barely functional. Since then I have had to adjust. I have most of my ability back but not all of it. The doctors said that the first six months are the best for recovery. That window is now closed.

I'd be lying if I said that I am in better spirits or reflecting happily on how lucky I am. Seems that I've developed some pretty bad emotional problems as a result. I want to lash out at people, cry for know reason, and just crawl into a hole.

Needless to say it's not fun. Life might get better but at the risk of sounding emo I just seem to be going through the motions. I'm running in place so to speak and really don't care that I am. It's more a case of 'meh, whatever' than actual depression.

If I get out of this rut then so be it. If not, no big loss.

So yeah. It's more or less legal now. What do you guys think? I'm waiting until I can legally grow and supply places or get a farm up and going in a few years. Likely for industrial hemp though.

2013 has been nothing short of a disaster. Medical issues, insurance hassles, and drama over friendships has made this quite possibly the worst year I've ever hard. I just want to get it over with. Hopefully 2014 is a lot better. Doubt it could be much worse than this one.

On a happier note I want to thank everyone that wished me a happy birthday last week. ^^

So, only about 2 months left of this crap year. I'm looking forward to it being in the rear view mirror of history.

It's not like they are a freeloader or anything like that. I'd offer but I have no room to since Me and  Vizaxyn live in a one bedroom apartment.

The following occurred in the Drekiheim sim on SecondLife. My character Sanita and someone else where in the middle of a conversation. This cat-girl in what I can only describe as anime boob armor. That is all this girl's armor protected. And she had a huge Final Fantasy style buster sword. Here is the transcript.


[07:30] Felica Ailee 's ears perk up as she hears people talking, looking up from her path-staring to see a few gathered near the well. Something in her had heard about the things Sasha said, but she could not place it. She felt ambivalent, something deep down agreeing with what the Tasmanian devil said. However, she did know that her rival race did indeed practice self mutilation to appease their god, sometimes in truly horrific ways. "Oh, I know of a race that does that on a daily basis~" she would comment. Her previous encounter witht he dragon was kept in her mind, the warning Kitska gave her still lingering.

[07:33] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) looked at the new comer with a sense of mild amusement as the squirrel folded her arms. "Well, thank you for your insight on this matter." Looking back to Sasha she asked, "Where is your homeland if I may ask?"

[07:34] Sasha says: to the far south across the salt-water. It's quite different from here.

[07:35] Felica Ailee throws her arms up in excitement, adding her own comment to the conversation. "I come from somewhere in the Great Sea! I dunno where exactly.. all dat is kinda funzzy after I was whisked away. All I know is that I cant seem to find it on any maps here!"

[07:36] Chiku (chikukei) gives a smile and a wave to the dragon and gaggle of girls as he passes along

[07:38] Felica Ailee mews in confusion, looking down at herself. Her armor gave the look of rather large boobs when she really didnt have that big of breasts. "Uhm.. not that I know of.." she says a bit quietly.

After all, I cant very well have a person created in my image run around in rags, can I?" the spirit says.

[07:43] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) "Your child? And -you- designed that? Wow, I have to question your parenting skills, sweetie."

[07:43] Zutakath (akamar.zuta): <I for one, am not impressed with such things.> The dragon settles back, looking over all three, but thinks the squirrel to be the more attractive so far.

I would rather you treat her with a little bit of respect, she has come far to find a place that does not persecute her." Felica seems to be looking down and away. "Kitska, just stop it.. obviously it was a mistake to try and make new friends here." she says with a audible undertone of sad disappointment.

[07:49] Sasha says: Persecute...? We have travelers from many areas here. I was simply making enquirers to your culture.

[07:50] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) "As am I. My 'employers' used to send me all over. Besides, learning about new cultures is fun."

[07:52] Felica Ailee twitches her drooping ears slightly. "It's not like I wanna dress like this.." she says a little angrily, crossing her arms. The spirit swims back over to Felica. "You must, or the way of your people will fade." it comments to her quietly. Felica simply makes a pouty face. She seems to be rather childish in mental maturity.

[07:52] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) turned and began scratching under the dragon's chin.

[07:53] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) blinks, "Wait, so what you are telling us is the fate of your people rests on what clothes you wear???" The squirrel falls over laughing, holding her sides.

[07:55] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) finds things just assilly. <As if you will ever find me in clothes. The fate of my kind hardly has matter in such material translations>

[07:55] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) takes advantage of the suqirrels positiona nd teases her a bit more, nuzzling a laughing squirrel

[07:56] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) pets the dragon as he nuzzles, still giggling.

[07:57] Felica Ailee 's spirit snaps angrily in the squirrels direction. "Those are traditional Felinoid warrior vestments, one fo the very last sets in existance. My children have suffered at the hands of cultural suppression, and I will not tolerate it here." Felica, for once, actually agrees with the squirrel. "but Kitska.. It looks stupid!" She whines, frowing at the spirit.

[07:59] Sasha says: Pardon me but... "warrior vestments"? It leaves over half of her body un-protected and applies needless weight to the chest. It'll cause back-problems and un-balance her. Not to mention her mid-section is open to -any- manner of attack.

[08:01] Felica Ailee 's spirit turns to Sasha with similar hostility. "I have blessed this armor myself to protect her as a full suit of armor would. Do not assume things are as they seem." It retorts. Felica pokes at her belly, but is unable to as her finger stops half an inch from the surface.

[08:01] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) "Why not just wear that for ceremonial purposes and get some real armor?"

[08:03] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) rumbles his enjoyment and doesn't ease up, though the dragon was starting to get a bit friendly with the motions.

[08:05] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) keeps scratching the dragon's head. The squirrel made sure to get into all those hard to reach areas with her nimble little fingers.

[08:07] Felica Ailee gestures to the two standing near her. "See!? Even they think it's stupid looking!" Her spirit turns to her quickly. "Do you want to look like all the rest of the common rabble, hm?" It would ask in a scolding manner. "Because you AREN'T common rabble. I won't have you looking like some simpleton warrior with not an ounce of beauty." Felica harrumphs loudly, crossing her arms again. "I don't care, your armor makes me look bad." The spirit trembles with frustration. "fine, since you seems SO intent on insulting your own way, i'm taking it away from you!" it shouts. Felica eeps as suddenly her entire suit of armor glows, then fades into thin air.

[08:08] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) had a few ideas ofhis own, and the dragon lets upt he squirrel after a time, giving a pleased rumble to her and looking her over intently, though his eyes widen as the spirit more or less strips the feline.

[08:08] Sasha says: .... This is why I dont do worship.

[08:09] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) blinks as she watches he armor disappear. "Damn. That was just petty. The tailor shop is just down the road."

[08:14] Felica Ailee meeps as she feels the wight on her body lifted, her armor suddenly disappearing. All that was left was her rather thin underwear. She gasps and tries to cover herself, looking up at her spirit companion with an angry face. "Kitska, you meanie!" she huffs. The spirit simply fades and disappears. Felica's ears droop entirely as she sniffles, flopping onto her butt and hugging her legs. "D-dont look at me!" she would say in a sad tone, muffled by her face buried in her knees.
[08:14] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) coughed a little as she saw the nearly naked feliniod, "Umm...You might want to find some clothes fast. I think they have public indecency laws in town."
[08:15] Sasha sighs, pulling a thick bear-skin from her bag, tossing it at the Felinod "Here. I'll want it returned once you've gotten some real clothing."
[08:15] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) seems to give a bit of a laugh. <As if anyone would argue me running around and showing off>
[08:19] Felica Ailee takes the bear skin, wrapping herself as much as she could in it. She sniffles, as if on the verge of bawling. "T-thank you.. " she says quietly, interrupted by sniffles. It would seem this girl is almost entirely ruled by her emotions, any little thing having a dramatic effect on her mood. "I-I dunno where to go for more clothes.. and.." she pauses for a moment. "K-kitska.. had all of my money.."
[08:19] Sasha peers at Felica "... How did it even carry anything? It didnt have hands."
[08:20] Sasha sighs, shaking her head "Gods... far too high on their horses for my tastes... Right. I've got some coin from the skins i've sold... It should be enough for something simple."
[08:21] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) rolls her eyes and fishes out a small leather bag. She tossed it to Felica, "Trade that with the tailor. It's got six polished pieces of amber." She scratches under the dragon's chin some more.
[08:21] Tempest Flash (tempestflash) came to a stop on the road, tiltimng his head, looking between the group curiously, piecing together what had happened...
[08:21] Sasha looks to Sanita, noding.
[08:21] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) can't really help in this situation, unfortunately. The dragon insteads turns his attention back to the squirrel, offering a playful growl

[08:22] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) grins and noses the dragon a little, "My, aren't you an affectionate guy!"

[08:23] Sasha says: You'll likely be better off living your own life rather then serving an over-sexualized god, kiddo. The people here are... decent. If slightly overly good-doers. You'll settle in soon enough.
[08:23] Sasha says: I'd suggest stopping by the church. I cant imagine them turning you down.
[08:25] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) seems to grin and keeps at it, though at this point the dragon was trying to nose the squirrel in the direction of the tavern
[08:25] Felica Ailee catches the bag, eyeing it curiously. She looks up with a grateful smile. "T-thank you!" She looks over at sasha. "I can't though.. K-kitska saved my people from a life worse than death.. She keeps saying I'm the most important one.. that I hold the key to retaking my homeland from our rivals." she pauses for a moment, listening. "Kitska said I needed to become stronger.. she talked with someone to get me into the Order of Light paladins.. but.. I've not heard from them in a while."
[08:25] Blodeuwedd watches from the brush. She was still gauging the folks of this city, understanding them. That dragon from before was here, the one that had blocked the gate and unsettled the guards. It did not appear hostile then, and was just as gentle now. The Archer hesitated before deciding to move in closer... out of the brush.
[08:26] Amethyst Ergaron (tangodelta) "Unless it's that cranky paladin. In that case he can go fuck himself." She turns her attention to Felica, "Each of those amber pieces are worth about five gold. Unless you are really awful at bartering you should be able to ge a decent set of clothing."
[08:26] Tempest Flash (tempestflash) backs up to sit down on the grass next to the road, listening in still. He didn't speak up for the moment, simply observing. Comments could be saved.
[08:27] Sasha nods slowly "it's your life and your decision, girl."
[08:28] Felica Ailee looks at the bag, taking note of each sparkling amber piece. "Are.. are you sure you want to give me this?" she asks, not content with just taking it.. she always gave more than she recieved.
[08:29] Sasha says: If you chose to serve this god of yours it's up to you. Honestly I like gods trying to controll the fate of an entire species less then I like slavers. It's all about the glory of the god and often seems to overlook the people."
[08:29] Tempest Flash (tempestflash) snorts at that comment, but otherwise doesn't comment..
[08:30] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) huffs some at the comment. <Gods are just as flawed as the mortals who create them>
[08:31] Sasha says: I suppose I have some issues understanding the social works of pack-creatures. We're largely solitary normaly.

[08:32] Blodeuwedd can't help but be amused at such a thought. In her own land, there was but one God, and he had made the Chosen Beasts, the people of Eirian. After that, well, there was no interference. It was the people that made their way through life, not God. To blame God was to be a fool. She lets out a bit of a chuckle.
[08:32] Sasha says: We only have a real hirarchy when we mate or hunt together, in which case the strongest member will lead the pack. It's a good survival technique. The most experienced and most powerfull will lead the rest.
[08:34] Felica Ailee suddenly realizies something, reaching over her shoulder expecting to grab the hilt of her sword, but only swipes at thin air. "Oh no.. She took my sword!" She gasps out. "I need my sword.. I cant.. I cant!" she falls to her knees, her vanished sword the proverbial straw. "I'm sorry Kitska!" she cries, hugging the bear pelt.
[08:35] Sasha peers at Felica "What's special about the sword?"
[08:36] Felica Ailee looks up with teary eyes. "It's her fang, I-its as powerfull as her bite!" she blubbers. "I cant protect myself without it!"
[08:36] Tempest Flash (tempestflash) frowns a little, standing up, trotting over to Felica. Rather than say anything, he just sits down next to her, extending out a wing to curl it against her back gently, the softest of hugs he could offer.
[08:36] Zutakath (akamar.zuta) sees little value in it, like many other material things. <All have a weapon far stronger then a sword>
[08:37] Sasha says: You wont have to while you're in the town. Dont worry about it for now. If your goal is to become strong, you should focus on your -own- strenght. You'll be able to get another one.

[08:37] Sasha says: Learn how to handle yourself and you'll be better protected overall. More reliable then spirits and gods.

[08:38] Sasha says: Besides... if you are indeed as important as your godess claims, she'll be back for you.
[08:40] Felica Ailee shakes her head, little tears flying off and splattering to the ground. "I-i can't.. trouble seems to follow me wherever I go.. e-even if it's around friendly people.." As if her pleas were heard, a soft whistle was heard, like that of a falling arrow. Within moments, her sword falls down from the sky and impales the soft sod before her, sinking a third into the soil. Felica was too busy blubbering to herself to realize it had returned.
