Ask Daryil about his clan...

My current writing project, which does contain some minor background spoilers for Project Future, is a handbook for Daryil Clan members as of the Project Future era. It's currently run to about 3500 words, and covers the basics ("What am I? What duties and obligations to the Clan do I have? How should I treat Beings, Creatures, other 'Cubi?").
However, there are surely numerous topics that young Daryil members would need or want answers to which have slipped my mind, so if you've ever had a query about Daryil's Clan - logistics, politics, whatever - now's your chance to ask.
I'm sure there will be questions about Daryil's personal life and I might throw one or two of those in, but realistically, I'm looking for things pertinent to clan life as a whole rather than specifically about Daryil himself.

Anthrocon report 2010
Posted 15 years agoHere, at last, is my account of Anthrocon this year. This is a kind of warts-and-all account, I hope it doesn't offend anyone I've mentioned.
Tuesday - getting to the airport
About half of Tuesday was spent getting from Cwmbran to Bristol Airport and from there to the hotel, a journey that should have taken just over 2 hours by rail and bus. The journey as planned should have been:
Cwmbran -> Newport -> Bristol Temple Meads -> Airport -> Hotel
Instead there was some kind of signalling fire at Abergavenny with the result that the train was delayed for more than an hour at the first stage alone - I could probably have walked it in less time. While waiting I had a call from my father asking if I'd be able to go out for a meal with my brother on Thursday... which was quite plainly not part of my plans. To be fair, I had intended to call him when I got to the hotel.
When I finally made it to the connection at Newport, the fire had screwed up all the trains completely, and it wasn't possible to directly to Bristol Temple Meads anymore.
I had to go via Bristol Parkway, which meant hanging around for another hour or so and then doing so all over again with a vast crowd of other people who had also been delayed, cancelled or otherwise messed around with.
Once I finally got to Temple Meads, I missed the shuttle to the airport and had to wait for the next one. From there I got to the hotel - having missed the hotel shuttle as well - and discovered that they were charging extra for internet access. Annoyed I tried to call my father, only to discover that I didn't have enough signal to sustain a voice connection. I sent him a couple of text messages and then slept.
Wednesday - Actually getting to the 'con
I got up in time to reach the airport at about 7:15, the flight to Newark being at 10:30am. This went fairly smoothly except that the flight was delayed until 11:45 and finally 12:00.
This wasn't a disaster as I had plenty of slack time for catching the connection to Pittsburgh, and as it happened the flight itself was faster than scheduled.
At Newark, everything went to hell. Firstly customs freaked slightly at the idea of my bringing cookies to the US of A, and insisted on x-raying the bag again for some reason. After that, the security checks took far longer than expected, since they had everyone passing through one single desk before they were able to get to the scanners. It took about 90 minutes just to get that done, and once that was past the flight was delayed by about 45 minutes.
Once on the plane, I noticed that the row of seats I was on was missing a sticker, which made things a little awkward. From there we sat on the tarmac for another 45 minutes before finally being shooed back into the airport. What made things more complicated was that we'd left from gate 103 and been dumped back at gate 81. When the flight finally came back onto the data displays it was leaving from gate 103, which was not where the aircraft had actually been left.
There I met Haz who was expecting a later flight to Pittsburgh which now had exactly the same time and gate as the one I had tried to take. Eventually they decided that it was actually Haz' flight and not mine, and announced over the PA that they didn't know which gate mine would actually be leaving from.
I tagged along with a couple of other people from the aborted flight and we eventually got someone at the service desk to confirm that it was supposed to be from gate 81.
Thereafter things went rather more smoothly, though I noticed with some concern that that row 10 magically had a sticker, so I'm not convinced it actually was the same aircraft anyway.
After a rather shorter bout of sitting on the tarmac we eventually touched down at Pittsburgh four hours later than intended.
I found a fellow 'con-goer who was also going to the Westin and we shared a cab. This year getting the keys to the room worked perfectly, first time. Curiously it was the same room that Alondro had had last year and the year before that, which is odd because they aren't really reserved in that manner.
This year Alondro had had several people drop out so the room had fewer people in it: Alondro, Sofox, Kenji and myself. This put up the costs a bit but did have the advantage that for the first time I was actually able to sleep in a bed rather than in a sleeping bag on the floor of the hotel.
Thursday - Registration and Setup day
After the horrible journey I was content to sleep in, as was everyone else. I discovered around this point that Alondro hadn't been able to get the room for Monday, which left me a little concerned.
Around 10am we headed to the zoo, where I quickly spotted Jouster and through him found Amber. She was working on her Chibis-on-a-stick and had already completed Daryil, Chance and an adorable rendition of Bas.
At this point I called Wuffnpuff using the phone she had lent me for the convention and attempted to summon her to the Zoo. Unfortunately she turned up after Amber had left and so missed out on her chibi, at least at this point.
When she did show, we went off to register and then ate at Fernandos. Alondro had been hoping to have some help moving stuff into the Dealer's room, but unfortunately my eating habits had been thrown by the flight and I had to have food right there and then.
I think we spent most of the rest of the day in the Zoo, until around 7 when everyone congregated in Keaton's suite for the DMFA Tea Party.
The Tea Party got off to something of a slow start owing to the problems of moving about 2-3 dozen people to the Omni. Keaton left the room to find out where some of the stragglers were and did not return. Her mother went to find her and also did not return. Eventually everyone was reunited in the living room and the party began. A large plastic shipping box of the kind usually used for fursuits was brought in and Kimmy's cookies were distributed along with many Kinder eggs and various kinds of tea.
We were not able to use the hotel's wireless network, so Mits created his own using an Android phone as a wifi access point. Shortly afterwards I accessed the DMFA forum to try and send a message to Ren only to find a message saying that I'd been banned "for furfaggotry" by Mao. (It is worth pointing out at this juncture that including myself, about 3/4 of the forum administration team was currently in the room).
Since everyone there was going through Mits' phone I reasoned that Mao would have banned that IP address, which would mean that he'd taken out not only me, but the entire administration team aside from Bill, llearch and Zina. All in all, I was not pleased.
In a somewhat wrathful mood I passed my laptop to Damaris, since she was the administrator. "Is this anything to do with you?" I asked, in a manner of poorly-forced calm. "I think you'd better have a word with Darkmoon," she said, pointing. With an expression like thunder I strode over to Darkmoon who immediately pointed at Mao. I turned to Mao, offering him the laptop.
"Can... I... Just... Ask... Why?" I grated. Apparently it looked like I was about to hit him.
Mao suggested that I log in and un-ban myself, to which I pointed out that he'd ensured I couldn't log in at all. It later turned out that this was not part of the plan... before the recent upgrade of the forum skins a banned moderator would lose access to the forums themselves, but retain access to the admin panel allowing them to recover, but somehow this had broken.
The laptop was passed from Mao to Darkmoon to Damaris, none of whom were able to un-ban it, which did not leave me in a particularly pleased mood.
Eventually Damaris borrowed Keaton's laptop and was finally able to unlock it that way. In the meantime, Mao explained that it was a prank that they'd all agreed on, that he had actually been doing this while I was sat next to him and that he was sure I'd seen it. He also said that Damaris had been struggling very, very not to laugh and had almost lost it as soon as I'd turned my back on her. About this point I had to agree that it was actually pretty funny.
The cookies which I had bought for Keaton were going uneaten. Periodically I would offer them to her, until I finally lost patience and handed them over with the words "Eat the f____ing cookies".
Sitting next to Keaton I went over some of the comics and noticed that Dorcan was missing his clan mark on a couple of pages. Keaton saw page 108:
http://www.project-future.org/strip.php?strip=108
...and mentioned that the first time she'd seen it she had't noticed the dryer was open, and that it looked like he was being backed up against a wall. "No means no," Mits commented.
Friday - The convention itself
We were aiming for a 7:30 start since Alondro needed to buy a wrench - a small trolley cart that he had brought with him to help shift things to and from the Dealer's Room was starting to fall apart.
While he went off to do this I tried to catch up on some much-needed sleep, but with little success. Around 8'o clock, Kenji entered the room with Mags at which point I suddenly realised that Kenji didn't seem to have been around overnight.
He sat down with Mags and as they discussed various things they'd been up to it gradually turned out that they'd been up drinking most of the night. Kenji suddenly realised that I was trying to sleep and apologised. I said that it wasn't really working anyway, but the two of them left anyway. About five minutes later the pair of them suddenly returned - Kenji said something like "It's finally catching up with us" and before I was quite sure what had happened they had both collapsed - Kenji curled up on the floor and Mags soundly asleep in a chair.
Once properly up I went to the Zoo first and there met up with Wuff, Lysander and Mao. Wuff was wearing a rather curious outfit of black lace and boots which she had offhandedly mentioned yesterday saying "It makes me look a bit like a dominatrix". I had gone for my Johan Cross trench coat and an Otari T-shirt that was unfortunately obliterated by the badges I was wearing around my neck.
We hung around for a short time before heading off to the opening ceremonies at 11. Afterwards we headed to the Dealers Room to wait for it to open at 12. The queue was extremely long.
Once we got inside, I said Hi to Amber and Damaris, and paid for the stuff I had preordered (Daryil-on-a-stick, shirts for myself and Ren and picked up llearch's). I was then given a mission from Amber to deliver a chibi-on-a-stick to Lizardbeth, who uttered the words 'Oh my god' on receiving it. It eventually emerged that Damaris had been trying to force Amber to deliver it personally but she was too shy to do so - Damaris was not terribly amused when she found out.
I took Wuff shopping for snow leopard ears and tail, and while I was at it, scouted around for people to commission. This was extremely difficult and I didn't really succeed, though by close of play I'd made a couple of enquiries and built up a shortlist.
Once Wuff was properly decked out we headed to her room at the Doubletree to pick something up before heading off to get food. Lysander passed around some dried papaya, but at length I recommended the pizza place in the Westin lobby for something a bit more substantial.
When we got there, the pizza oven had broken down and they were only offering toasted sandwiches, which we sprung for.
We returned to the Dealer's Room and found Keaton and the others by the concession stand. I updated the comic, for which crime Keaton beat me with a large plush creature. When the Dealer's Room closed, Wuff, Lysander and I headed off with Darkmoon and Nyil to a Chinese restaurant - a different one to the one I'd been to in previous years. I wasn't so impressed with that one, but it did the job.
We spent the rest of the evening in the Zoo, talking to Wuff and Keaton, who did a nice rendition of Niall in my sketchbook. As she drew we discussed her character's backstory and this eventually turned into a discussion about raising children. When asked what we were talking, I struggled for a reply: "I'm not sure how best to put this... We're talking about having children. Uh... not with each other..."
Eventually Keaton got tired and a group of about 6-8 people was formed in order to escort her back to her hotel. I donned my trench coat on the assumption that it would be cool enough to wear it at night and we headed off, which it was. At the Omni, Keaton borrowed the trench and posed in it for a bit (see below for photos).
Saturday
The previous night, Wuffnpuff had suggested meeting at the Zoo at 9am. Normally this would be something of a problem, but I had been plagued by a dream where Alondro had forgotten to get a new room booked, and we were being kicked out. I had to get hold of him so that he could move his belongings. In the dream, I didn't have his number, but I had Keaton's. I was trying desperately to get hold of her before she boarded her plane so that I could get that number from her... As a consequence, when I woke up I didn't feel very much like going back to sleep again.
I made it to the Zoo around 9am only to find that Wuff's reach had exceeded her grasp and she didn't turn up at the Zoo until some time later. In the meantime I discussed various RPs with Basilisk at the internet station, and eventually we made our way down to the Dealers room. We found Amber who gave us a mission to gain experience points. The mission was to try and get a sketch from Squeegie Wolf, one of the other dealers. Bas spent most of the morning stood in front of the empty table with $35 and Mab's sketchbook to try and obtain a commission for her. Looking at the money and the price list confused things slightly so I went back to Amber to clarify what kind of comission she wanted. Later on, with Bas still stood in front of the table, I ran 'provisions' for him from Amber in the form of Swedish Fish.
While we were doing this I chose a few artists to commission, and then chatted with Wuff and Bas. Eventually I did meet Spooks but was a bit too shy to say much, though I opened up later.
By the time Dealer's Room closed I had managed to screw up my internal clock something shocking and was not hungry, although it was about 6pm. I said I wasn't hungry, but decided to go halves with Wuff on a pizza just in case. She paid for most of it, but somehow I ended up devouring nearly all of it, even though I hadn't been hungry when I started out.
We spend the rest of evening in the Zoo, waiting for Mab, Damaris etc who again, did not show up. Spooks kept petting my ears and tail - apparently she wanted to do this when we first met in the Dealer's Room but was afraid it would go down the wrong way.
Keaton disappeared a short while afterwards, later to reappear with Kimmy in a partial fursuit and Keaton acting as his spotter, which was kind of cool. As the evening wound down I remembered that I hadn't put out the CDs on the flyer table yet. I ran back up to the room to grab them and also a set for Spooks, but she had gone to bed by the time I got back with them.
Sunday - Teary-eyed farewells
We got up in order to hit the Dealer's Den at 10am. I didn't really have much in the way of plans apart from collecting my commissions, hanging out with Spooks and Wuff and trying to find Keaton for a teary-eyed farewell.
Most of the commissions turned out nicely except for an interesting problem with a sketch of Dorcan... the deadline kept shifting in step with Keaton's departure. I'd heard that Keaton was leaving at 3pm, which was actually when the flight left. So having heard that the sketch should be ready around 3pm, I then discovered that Keaton was actually leaving around 1pm, which by pure chance was the revised estimate for the sketch.
After a few tense moments we eventually found that Keaton's mother had rescheduled the flight for the following morning and so she would be around for the whole of Sunday.
This left me with conflicting emotions - while I was glad to have her around for longer, I had psyched myself up for her leaving and this left me in a somewhat confused state. Spooks also extended her stay in a similar manner and with similar results.
The DMFA raffle took place at 11AM, but this was delayed by the fact that Amber had wandered off. Bas and I were again dispatched on a mission from Damaris to find and retrieve her, which we did. The Fi scarf - first prize - was won by a guy called Brandon and Sofox won the second prize, a commission by Amber.
Once this was done we hung out by the concession stand to eat, surf the 'net through Mits' modem and suchlike until all the commissions were completed.
Around 3PM we moved to the Zoo, again, hoping to find Amber.
Wuff left to buy some luggage and did not return - eventually Spooks, Keaton, Bas and a couple of other people went for sushi. I receieved an invitation to go with Wuffnpuff for pizza, but - perhaps foolishly - declined in favour of Sushi, which I'd never tried before.
We set off and got completely lost before retracing our steps and finding our way to the Sushi restaurant while Keaton described a post-apocalypse story she had in mind. At the restaurant, Bas recounted his tale of an RP character named Ed, which can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awDbIrE1ybM
...I discovered the hard way that I did not like sushi. At all.
Back at the Zoo, we drew sketches for each other, I finally plucked up courage to get one from Aisha and, perhaps foolishly, agreed to draw in other people's sketchbooks. I did three sketches - one of Keaton, which turned out reasonably well, one of Gabi which was terrible and made me almost quit, and after some persuasion, a rendition of Wuff's character, Chance, which was better than Gabi but not as good as Keaton.
Meanwhile a fursuiter was roaming around with a sign saying 'Free hugs' - Kimmy suggested mobbing him a mass-group hug, which unfortunately did not come out on camera. I spent much of the time at the Zoo frantically trying to find or get in touch with Alondro to see if he'd reserved a room for monday, which he had.
At Spooks' behest, a number of people collapsed into a small furpile, and then eventually Amber made it to the Zoo where a card game invented by her husband was playtested - "Quit Your Day Job", where the idea is that the players are furry artists trying to make enough money to quit their day job.
Finally there was a non-teary farewell with Keaton, and then it was time for bed.
Monday
The previous evening, Wuff and Spooks had suggested meeting in the lobby around 10 in order to go to breakfast. This kind of extended as various people came and went until we had amassed a group of about 12 people and headed off to the bagel shop, which we didn't actually reach until about 11.
We rearranged the tables and sat there discussing things, chatting and bidding each other farewell until about 1:30 - quite some breakfast.
Finally we had to part ways. Spooks and Batsy headed off around 1, and eventually everyone else left too. Sofox, Nyil and I stood at the bus stop with Wuff, Lysander and Gary for a rather emotional farewell. I managed to keep things together until I got around the corner and kept having to blink back tears - apparently Wuff and Lysander had the same problem when they were on the bus.
I went back to my room - Sofox had gone to a comic museum which I wasn't so interested in - and shortly afterwards, the cleaners arrived. I took my laptop and hung out in the lobby for about 45 minutes, starting to thrash out this journal. When the cleaners were done I went back and began to surf the 'net until Sofox turned up for another slightly teary farewell.
At about 4pm he suddenly returned with Kenji as their flight out had been cancelled owing to the weather. Gabi also popped in briefly for the same reason, but unlike Sofox, had somewhere else to go. So he - and Kenji - ended up staying for an extra night.
Tuesday
In a totally unplanned move, Sofox, Kenji and myself went to the airport together, which caused a bit of a muddle when we tried to work out how to split the taxi fare. We hooked up with Gabi who was also there at the same time.
At Sofox' suggestion, I enquired about moving to an earlier flight, which turned out to be a good move as the weather delayed things again - if I'd gone with the original plan I would probably have missed the connection and thus the last flight out of the country.
The four of us hung around and ate lunch together before finally parting ways. Sofox' flight was first and we were not together long. After that, and after certain delays even with the earlier flight, I boarded the aircraft and owing to a certain ignorance on my part as to where Newark actually was became afraid that I was going to the wrong place and made a bit of an idiot of myself, the memory still pains me so I will say no more.
Fortunately all went well and I ate, before boarding the flight for a relatively uneventful journey back home.

Not really, no.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Yes, but in moderation.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Since I'm not American, yeah, it would be kind of fun. It might make flying to Anthrocon a hassle, though.

No idea.
[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I think many people will already have worked out where I stand on these issues.

My Characters
Jakob
Dorcan
Niall
Daryil
Joshua
Who/What are you?
Jakob: I'm a wolf incubus.
Dorcan: I'm a doberman incubus. Well, I was. Then someone killed me. Now I'm a synthetic.
Niall: I'm a fox incubus.
Daryil: I'm a fox incubus and I'm head of Jakob and Niall's clan. Are you single?
Joshua: I used to be a Siberian Husky Being until I went to investigate Jakob. Then I died and came back as a synthetic.
How old are you?
Jakob: 1050.
Dorcan: 300.
Niall: About 450.
Jakob: Actually, that's 470.
Niall: Is it? Oh, yes. Well, what's a few decades between friends?
Daryil: I'm something like 4200 now. I forget.
Joshua: 27
Do you like yaoi or yuri?
Jakob: Lalalala, I can't hear you....
Dorcan: Maybe.
Niall: What's yuri?
Jakob: You'll find out when you grow up.
Daryil: Where is it!?!
Joshua: That's a rather personal question, isn't it?
Are you a boy or a girl?
Jakob: Do I still count as a boy if I'm entering my second millennium?
Dorcan: I'm a guy.
Niall: I'm all man, baby!
Daryil: Wanna find out?
Joshua: Male.
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Jakob: One brother. I'd say he was younger, but given our ages it's basically rounding error.
Dorcan: One brother, one sister. I used to have two more brothers... <sobs>
Jakob: There, there, Dorcan... I'm sure we can bring them back one day.
Niall: I'm an only child, as far as I know.
Daryil: I can't remember.
Joshua: I was an orphan. If I did, I never knew.
Who's your mate/spouse?
Jakob: I don't really have one. I did make out with a vixen once, many centuries ago but that's a rather sordid story.
Dorcan: Ugh. My significant other had me hanged. I guess I'm single.
Niall: I..
Jakob: He keeps philandering and not settling down to get me grandchildren.
Niall: Sorry, Dad...
Daryil: Simeon.
Joshua: I'm single. Now that I'm dead I'm not sure I'm that much good to anyone.
Do you have any kids?
Jakob: No.
Niall: What?!
Jakob: Just kidding.
Dorcan: I don't think I do.
Daryil: My clan are all children of Daryil!
Joshua: No, and I seem to have missed my chance.
What's your favorite food?
Jakob: Pasties. And fear. Wonder is nice too.
Dorcan: Boron-11, I suppose.
Niall: Chicken. Also fear, guilt and justice.
Daryil: Fear, wonder and incredulity.
Joshua: Screw this. <storms off because he can't eat>
Have you ever killed anyone?
Jakob: Unfortunately, yes.
Dorcan: He killed me first! That's self-defence, right?
Niall: Probably. Have I killed anyone? No. At least, I don't think so. Not directly, anyway.
Jakob: Good.
Daryil: Not many people.
Joshua: Only in the line of duty.
What kind of music do you like?
Jakob: Mostly stuff from Earth, 1965-1979
Dorcan: Black metal.
Niall: I play bass, keyboards. Some of my stuff sounds like Vangelis.
Daryil: Cries of fear, they are music to me..
Jakob: Shut up, Daryil.
Daryil: Um, I mean... actually I'm not that into music.
Joshua: Classic rock, though in my line of work it doesn't pay to spent too much time on music. I mean, if you're infiltrating an enemy weapons complex, listening to Led Zep on an MP3 player is going to get you caught and killed.
What do you do to relax?
Jakob: Watch the news, read, listen to music
Dorcan: Video games, mostly.
Niall: I record stuff, watch the news, read... go out and find some fun... all sorts.
Daryil: Confuse people. And-
Jakob: NO! This is a PG interview!
Daryil: But they have a right to-
Jakob: NO. Just NO.
Daryil: Spoilsport.
Joshua: Me? I used to work out a bit, keep myself trim. Now there's not much point. There's a lot of media in Jakob's base, and I'm gradually picking up new hobbies.
Do you constantly get hurt?
Jakob: Not much.
Dorcan: Not so much these days.
Niall: No.
Daryil: Only if I want to.
Joshua: Not much.
Do you like your creator?
Jakob: You mean my dad, right? Sure. We get along fine.
Dorcan: Do you mean Niall, or my parents? Either way, I'm cool with them.
Niall: That's a funny way to put it. Uh, yes.
Daryil: I am all-knowing, all, seeing, all-powerful! I created myself!
Jakob: Yes, dear.
Joshua: My creator? You mean Jakob? Yes. I mean, I was shit-scared of him at first because of his reputation, but he's not really such a bad guy at the end of the day.
What’s your favorite season?
Jakob: We're in the bloody Arctic. There's Arctic Season and that's about it.
Dorcan: Summer.
Niall: Summer as well, I think.
Daryil: Spring.
Joshua: I never really thought about it.
Have you ever had sex?
Jakob: Let me get this straight. I'm an incubus... my race is infamous for its seductive ways, I look like I'm 23 and I spent 400 years with a bunch of other eternally-young students. And you're asking if I'm a virgin...?
Dorcan: Yes I have, not that it's any of your business.
Niall: I have too.
Daryil: No.
Jakob: What do you mean, "No"?
Daryil: Of course I have!
Jakob: That's more like it.
Joshua: Me? Yes, I have.
Have you been violated/molested/raped before?
Jakob: Not as I recall.
Dorcan: Not against my will, no.
Niall: No.
Daryil: All the time!
Jakob: That doesn't count.
Daryil: Oh.
Joshua: Would I tell you if I had?
Whose your best friend?
Jakob: Azrael
Dorcan: I... I'm not sure. Everyone here is nice. Though I suppose... Dasgard, really.
Niall: Ashley.
Daryil: Simeon.
Joshua: I'm a bit of a loner, to be honest, but Jakob strikes me as a decent sort of chap.
Got a crush?
Jakob: Not anymore.
Dorcan: Not really.
Niall: A few. Nothing serious, though.
Daryil: Simeon. Though Dorcan's kind of hot.
Jakob: I didn't wish to know that.
Joshua: Me? Oh, it was years ago. We broke up.
Do you like hugs/kisses/cuddles/etc.?
Jakob: Not really.
Dorcan: Sometimes.
Niall: Sometimes.
Daryil: Yeah!
Joshua: Depends on my mood at the time, I guess.
Are you gay?
Jakob: What?! NO!
Daryil: You are, you're just afraid to admit it.
Jakob: I am not going to have that conversation again! <storms off>
Dorcan: It was... a passing phase. Heck, almost everyone experiments at the Academy. <looks away>
Daryil: I knew it! <beams> Come on, Dorcan. Prove it to-
Niall: That's enough, Daryil. Remember the rating. Me? I'm straight. Mostly. Like Dorcan and Jakob said, 300 years is a long time to spend as a student.
Daryil: I'm sure. So why are you always wearing leather trousers, then?
Niall: Because they happen to be very comfortable!
Daryil: Me? I'm proud of it!
Joshua: I'm straight.
Daryil: Give me a minute with your firmware and I can soon change that!
Play any sports or...anything?
Jakob: Not so much. Sometimes I cycle.
Dorcan: I've done a bit of bike racing. The occasional football match.
Niall: Not really into sport myself. And Daryil, before you say it, sex doesn't count.
Daryil: Damn. Actually, I love playing golf with frozen food. In the middle of the park. Ever tried that?
Joshua: I used to do a bit of mountaineering. Now that I don't need to breathe I can probably do even better. Maybe I should look into that.
If you had a chance to kill your creator would you do it?
Jakob: No.
Dorcan: No.
Niall: No.
Daryil: Why would I want to do that?
Joshua: No.

Joshua: No.
