Tomorrow is the start of another long work trip, I'm grateful I don't have to do these as often anymore. I'll be in DC, Philly then its back home on Sunday.

That reminds me, I'm not sure where home is anymore. Is it the condo, my boyfriend's place, the house I grew up in or the house I might be buying this year? I have a lot to decide and this trip will get me away from questions that are still hanging in the air, demanding answers. This trip is a great chance to answer all of them influence free and to come up with my own solution, the one that works best for me.

Yesterday's Pokevent would have been worth going if Platinum was released but its only two more weeks
I saw The WatchMen, it was okay but if I have to see Shopaholic one more time.. the next person to ask me gets a one way trip into the Disney Vault.
Is it worth going on another White House tour this soon into a new presidency?

He's the cutest thing, Toys 'R' Us is holding this Pokemon event today and the next few days, go catch him!

Their next event will be a special Regigigas that unlocks a hidden area in Pokemon Platinum where you can get Regirock, Regice and Registeel if you don't have them already.

I was able to pick up 3 Shaymin but its frustrating that they haven't released the US Arceus yet, he's the last one I need to complete my Pokemon collection before Platinum comes here! X3

I haven't been online much since coming home and I've had a couple of messages from worried friends.

There's no reason to worry, I'm fine and back safe from the holidays. A close relative was put into a hospital, very sick and we ended our holidays early to fly in. He passed on and we stayed for the funeral.

I'm still sad about losing that person and its really made me think about life and then there was the usual heavy holiday drama from my hated ex-stepmother. I've been turning down everyone asking to do things with them but I'm going out with the whole condo group tonight to have some fun. I've been on YIM some and will back on the boards and Tapestries soon enough because I miss you guys! <3

I'm leaving soon to meet up with my dad and brother for our flight.

My sister is waiting for us in Arizona, unfortunately so is my stepmother. She goes out of her way to ruin the season for me but I'm -not- going to let her bother me this year. We'll only be at her home for four days anyway and then I'm going to have enough fun to forget who she is for another year.

Our return flight is on the 2nd, I'll see you all then!

I'm at my dad's, I spent all night working on preparations and cooking. Its time to get some rest but I'll be waking up early to start cooking again. Dad usually handles most of the cooking but he's getting over the flu and needs to rest so I've taken over all the work by myself this year.

My step-mom and step-sister's flight should be landing by now, my brother is picking them up. I'm really anxious to see my sister but I can't stand her mother, it takes a lot of effort to enjoy a holiday when she's around.

I saw Twilight on Saturday, its not the serious romance I expected but some of that may show up more in the sequels. It was a good movie and everyone's been to see it, you should go. A good friend of mine has read the books and told me all about them before the movie came out. She liked it but says the books are a lot better. I'm still not convinced its good enough to spend hours reading a book and for sure not all of them. I'm fine with my mags and games. Have a great Thanksgiving!

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to be on my computer yesterday but friends met me right after work and took me to my favorite restaurant, tea and coffee house where I got my birthday cookie -yummy- to a movie -How To Lose Friends And Alienate People was really funny- and then out to a club for my birthday. It was a perfect night but I missed seeing any of my online friends and I want to thank you all for the birthday messages you sent! <3

I'll see everyone soon and be ready for a slightly different looking me soon, it's been two years since I updated my descriptions and most of them still claim I'm 22. I was so naive then. ;3

My birthday is a week from today, on the 3rd and I'm so excited!

My dad might give me a good computer that can play games I've been bugging him for a long time but my brother says dad is going to surprise me and help me on the down payment for a new house while the prices are down. I was saving up to do this in a year or two myself but now is the best time. I don't know how I feel about living alone so my plan is to rent a room out to one of my friends.

On another topic, I've been busy and I've neglected my LiveJournal. I stopped updating around the time I was focused on my personal life and a new relationship with a longtime friend. It was wonderful few months and lasted until I found out he was stealing drugs from work and selling them to friends. He's out of the picture now and deserves to get fired if he gets caught. Thanks to all my friends for helping me through that mess.

I've made a choice to keep my journal here and keep it updated when I have time. Almost everyone I know is already here, many more than LiveJournal but I'll keep commenting in LiveJournal too.
