I'm not going to lie, one of the main reasons I don't do any pony art is because I was tired of seeing my one piece of Twilight Sparkle vectored and then posted around the internet minus my signature. Only one person actually found me out and asked if I was the person who was responsible for it.

To the guy who vectored the piece, the least you could have done was leave my f*cking signature in the work.

So I went off, and over the months, spent less and less time on FA (using all three of my accounts) so that in the end, I don't really check here that often.

That's not to say I am a brony, because I am. And that's not to say I don't miss drawing, because I do.

But if you know who I am outside of this profile, you will know that the other reason I am not drawing often is because I am too busy actually making money off my creative passion, writing.

But yeah, looking back even now, months and months later, I am still kinda pissed at whomever took my work, changed it, took my signature off, then started passing it around the internet.

That's the internet fandom for you.

Why don't I art anymore?

Well, to be frank, it's because I am continuing to work on my other craft, writing.
That doesn't mean I don't feel like doing pony art. I actually really want to continue to produce it, but I just don't have the time to sit and draw for hours on end like I used to. Most of that is also to blame on having a relationship as well with  lavenderteasel, which understandably absorbs a lot of my time.

BUT, I'm not dead yet, which I've said before.
I will do art here soon, but not until sometime after November when I have more time free. And no, it won't be vector art.

I walked into my local Walmart near where I work just to check out their pony stuff, as I do once and awhile.
Lo and behold they have all the recolours I don't have.
Thing is, I don't get paid until Tuesday!!

I am placing a lot of faith in the fact that they will (hopefully) get restocked if they don't have them when I go back. We'll see. I'm sure me searching for random money like some sort of crack addict didn't look all that good on me. :-P

Actually, due to local drama in the furry community, I've been putting out fires and what not (even on my birthday, which was a huge pain in the ass), and haven't been having time to really do anything with Ponies when it comes to art.

I've also been working with editors on a story that is getting published, as well as an anthology that I am going to be ePubing some time in the future, so my creativity has gone to writing rather than arting. The thing that I realize however, is that pony art is FUN to do, despite the time involved in doing it. (and people whining about Vectors)

So I will return, the urge is growing stronger, like the urge to find one's cutie mark. I will draw again!! So keep your eyes peeled. There will be plenty of normal, and pony porn art coming your way!

So my last piece with Twilight Sparkle got a lot of attention.

Unfortunatly, it also attracted a number of art thefts which forced me to put in watermarks, which between you and I, I HATE with a passion, even on my own works. I'm posting these for your pleasure, as well as mine.
But people who decide they want to mod my stuff without asking first piss me off a lot.
And then they don't give credit to he original artist, and then they go and post links to their moded files of MY artwork.
So I spent what would have been a nice day relaxing at home after a nice furry event, contacting site owners and moderators and even freakin' Rapidshare, getting my stuff yanked from the sites. And what do I get? The same asshole posting my stuff again.

I don't mind you taking my pieces and using them to fap to. I really don't. That's half the reason they are done up.
I DO mind you taking it and altering it, taking out my signature, and posting it with no credit to me. I'm sorry, if you want your own art, or want it done your own way, pick up a tablet, and draw it yourself!

Yes, I don't use vectors.
I've looked at it, and you know what? I've been raised a traditional artist. I went through a post secondary as a traditional artist. I LIKE seeing the work people put into their stuff. I am not a graphic artist, so I don't use insanely clean lines or vectors. Can my stuff be cleaner? Yes. Am I working on doing that? Yes, I am. Does that give you permission to alter my work? No, it doesn't.

So please, if you are THAT desperate to alter my work, ASK me.
I might even say yes.

For those that haven't noticed, but (by mistake) in the last posts of  tarl of him with bedroom eyes and the one where he is reading, he is missing the light tips to his mane and tail. I had forgotten about them to be honest, and now that I look at it, I like him without them. So you won't be seeing them again.

Now for something I am been trying to figure out. Besides having to darken the outside colour line for him into something that actually works well with his coat; how does one do a dapple coat in a symplistic style like MLP?

Yes, I've heard the comments. He looks like a pickle, he looks like puked seaweed, he looks like he is sick and is a leper. (seriously, do you even KNOW what a leper looks like people?!) It's because he has the dapple coat. (http://www.searchpictures.net/anima....._-_640x480.jpg)

So how does one translate that to my character without it looking...well, like it does? I'm open to suggestions if you are willing to suggest. I might just remove it to be honest. I am still keeping the green colour however, cause I like it. I realize that if it were a large horse, it would be...too much. But really, look at the main cast, the same would be said of them. (think of a fluttershy fursuit, all that yellow....)

And yes, the comments are brutal in some regards. Non-artists looking for porn commenting on a character that is not theirs and they don't like so they can't use my stuff to paw off to. Well, good. It wasn't actually created to paw off to in the beginning.
Yes, that's right, I don't draw MLP porn to paw off to. I actually do NOT know why I draw it other than it fills some need in me.
But that aside, look at it this way: They felt the need to post my art elsewhere. That means someone had the compulsion to share it with others, cause the person who posted it to the site were different for each piece. It's like finding your stuff on 4chan. I've seen good artists who are my friends like  nateday and  chiroookami on 4chan and they get a kick out of it because it means someone felt the need to share their stuff. I've also seen commissions I have gotten posted there as well.

People will always bitch when your porn doesn't match what they want, or doesn't contain characters they want. It's because they can't draw it themselves, and they are reliant on your porn to satisfy their need to paw off. So all I can really say to those who don't like it?

Comment, and I may draw it.
If not, then sorry, go learn how to draw or commission some art. There are plenty of artists (myself included) that are more than willing to draw YOUR pony getting it on with the main cast.
We artists are cool like that.

You can expect to see the third aspect of me in this fursonna, the one closest to me as I truely am.
Yes, right now he is named Tarl, but eventually he may be given an 'alt' name to suit his ponisonna. (is that even a word?)

He is mostly green in colour with faded socks, tufted hooves, and a dapple.
