Sick of artists who immediately block after critics
Posted 2 months agoSeriously, there are artists out there who appearently are more narcisstic than you'd think.
They are more interested in having only good comments and constantly celebrations and try everything to make themselves look like heroes - they can't lose and they can't even answer simple questions, because they don't see they could have maybe done something not 100% fitting.
I mean I'm not even talking about trying to give "bad critics" at all to people - I just don't understand at times if these artists do want to have critic at all, even constructive one.
And it is actually really sad to see this - not because it is sad if they block me or others instantly, it is sad because these people are "sad" examples of human beings.
I can understand that some people might have been through bullying etc. but that doesn't mean you immediately block because someone wants to give them an advice or asks carefully what they expect some people who might not like the work 100% to do.
Just "moving on when you don't like it" is no answer, especially not if
A) it is not the content you dislike, but rather the way it was done needs some improvement and
B) you want to help them get better with their work without asking for anything in return.
Especially the latter one is rare these days and I'm really sick of these people declining every help and then start moaning around and ask why is no one want to commission me anymore etc.

Is it bad that my fursonas/fursuits are more art characters?
Posted 4 months agoI actually realized honestly, that my fursuits and fursonas are a lot less what you'd expect from a fursuit/fursona to be.
To me it feels like playing a role in any of my fursuits. Perhaps one of the reasons why you'd never see me at a con.
Another is that my fursuits are just simply not that what many many furries, especially younger ones, expect how a fursuit should look like and what it's supposed to do.
I get the feeling that fursuits are nowadays supposed to be silly, childish, cute, cuddlable and "well-made" and especially adaptable for children.
Neither of my 3 fursonas are any of that.
Pianolisko has been a bit "cuter" in his early days, but I made him look at lot more fearsome now on purpose. The addition of Sobek's crown, Usekh and Nemyss are just pushing this to an even higher limit of him being "not from this place".
Nussija in its old version was terrible, the new version is a lot more "oldskool" on purpose, because it was a dream of mine - yet he's basically regularly drunk, that's nothing for kids either.
Teuro on the other hand is honest AF and can't keep his mouth shut. He would even tell a kid to stop crying because it's a waste of energy. He's even more critical and open than Pianolisko and he's only speaking in tyrolian accent. His look is also not that what you'd expect, because his look is very basic and rudimentary on purpose. Just plain black and white, because it also fits very well to his character.
Especially this "thinking" is also something which is much more unsual appearently and maybe it is also "too much" for many furries, they don't "get it" nor do they wish to. Because appearently their characters/fursonas are often way more 2 dimensional.... but who am I to "judge" anyway? (I don't, but it's just how I feel like things seem to be)

I saw the trailer including this "Ralph" feeding a bunny tons of pancakes till it bursts.
And that all on a screen a kid sees.
Personally I think this is quite some reference to us furries... a BAD one.
Again like "oh kids do love cute fursuits and cute animal pictures/games" - and then they take one step further and land on fetish pages like here FA and all... ugh...

Posted 7 years agoI am still pissed when there are "artists" begging for money when they indeed actually have a chance to earn money by really working.
I mean I am a freelancer as well but I do not beg for money when it get hard at the end of the month or whatever - but at least I earn my money by working properly, seldomly art stuff actually, I am more "booked" for repairs.... repairs what so called "specialists" ruined. >_>

Thailand staff rescue stuff
Posted 7 years agoDon't get me wrong first of all it is now July 8th 9 PM for me. I hope the rescue works well.
But then again I do hope there will be an investigation WHY that teacher went into that cave with his team. I mean they said for days in the news and so on that this cave is a dangerous one and you usually can only enter a few metres and are usually also not allowed to go any further.
In Germany you can be sure such a teacher will be removed from duty and face a trial.
Bet they won't do that in Thailand... cuz they think the world will say "this is not okay". Well it IS okay to make an investigation in such a case - I mean he risked the lives of the team of kids... it's some kind of negligent behaviour.
But then again I do hope there will be an investigation WHY that teacher went into that cave with his team. I mean they said for days in the news and so on that this cave is a dangerous one and you usually can only enter a few metres and are usually also not allowed to go any further.

Posted 7 years agowell it IS appearent that I'm an addict.
That since 2 weeks I virtually every night when everyone is asleep and no one notices I am drinking quite sums of alcohol combined with sleep tablets and stuff.
Problem is: Slowly my body is adapting to it and I hardly notice any effects on it anymore Q_Q
I feel like as a musician I might need something like a tour or general more recognition even though this is already somehow the case.
I know so many people like my stuff out there.... but so many people also hate me as person.... meh

why do some artists never do what I tell them to do?
Posted 8 years agoHonestly if I say "you have to/should crop that part out" for example in a comic: an expression of a character or the logo of something they developed... then you f***ing have to do it! There is no discussion! And if it means to redraw it in bigger size then you have to do it!
This is no work at all to do such a thing and upload it, it is a task of 5 to 10 minutes - and a real artist is NEVER a capitalist. Because a real artist does a normal standard work and only takes money for real big commissions.
Which is why those "YCH" or "Adopts" is the most stupid crap ever. In real capitalism NOBODY gives you money for things they have not asked you to do. In fact you get laughed at.
Same goes for all those who think"fame" is connected with "clicks and likes". I tell you what: In school we also hated those pupils who bought themselves friends.
Why are people now loving those? It is illogical and shows a lack of knowledge and intelligence.
Something you can buy with money is NEVER a success. Success is that what you can NOT buy with money.
Btw. It also shows that normal people are already so much sickened by this system, thinking "fame" comes BEFORE the clicks and likes and not BECAUSE of it....
The whole thing is based on lies and if people do not react to this then they will come crying once that card house is completely fallen apart.
In fact it is already fallen apart the ones who are responsible just try to hide it by showing parts which still stand up.

It is just sad when you actually like their artwork and all of a sudden when you wanna fave it you get the error message =(
