Posted 12 years agoHey guys, just wanted to let you know, something rad happened.
For those of you who do not keep tabs on that site, SoFurry held one of its writing contests (like the one I wrote Another Year Older for many moons ago) back in December, with the simple theme of Winter. Well, at the time, I was writing Services, which featured the recurring problems faced by a cold-blooded dragon in the frozen season, so once I finished it I entered it in the contest.
And, well, yesterday they announced that I was the winner. n_n
Apparently this means I win a box of fancy Austrian chocolates and a SoFurry artist's pin, but the thing I'm most stoked about is that it will expose my work to more people. I've already gotten a few new faves over there. Already made a nice journal over there thanking the judges and the readers and such, but I thought I'd share the happiness with all the sites I write on.
I'm ever so pleased about this, you have no idea. XD

Couple Questions For You
Posted 12 years agoHey guys, just thought I'd point out for anyone who hadn't noticed yet that I've gone and renamed the "Dave and Kelly" series "I Love You Twice", after a phrase that is near and dear to the main characters' hearts. n_n
There wasn't a big, complicated reason for this, I've just thought for a while now that simply labelling the stories with their names was a bit plain, and that it would be nice to give their overall story an actual title. Oh, and since it was originally called "I Love You Twice", I went and renamed my posting of the picture of the two of them done by
MidnightDraven a few years back "Midnight Foreplay".
The reason that I bring it up now is that I'm also planning to rename the stories about the Thompsons, though I'm having a bit more trouble with that since Eric and Milo don't have a handy catchphrase to utilize. :B
So on that note, I was wondering if any of you fine people had any suggestions for what to call that series? Be nice to hear some opinions and ideas from outside my own head, see if they sound any better. XD
Oh, and while I'm journaling, I thought I'd mention; after getting a bit of experience last year writing stories for other people, I'm seriously considering opening for commissions this year. So I wanted to check for interest in such an endeavour before I started, ask you guys what kind of price you'd be willing to pay for the kind of time and effort that would go into one of my stories.
Now, mind you, I wouldn't be actually opening commissions right away, it'd probably be a few months from now, but it seems a good idea to me to gauge interest early on.

2012, Year in Review
Posted 13 years agoHey guys! It's time for Green's annual summary of the previous year. I've actually been looking forward to this journal for a few weeks now.
See, my general goal as an online writer is to try and get a story done every month. But I haven't managed a perfect streak where I actually manage to do that every month without fail since 2009.
In fact, in 2011, I did kinda shittily, to be honest, completely failing to get a story released in five out of twelve months, with a few of the others being technicalities. Boooooo. :P
But this year? This year I did a little better. Let's take a look...
January
Eric and Milo: Sweet Surrender: Milo Thompson has been fighting weird feelings ever since he started messing around with his big brother Eric. This story chronicles what happens when he chooses to stop fighting and indulge those feelings for a change.
February
A Blue's Arrival: The much-delayed, highly requested sequel to the 2009 story A Blue's Embrace, Arrival details what happens when our simple human villager brings the dragoness who so beguiled him back to his hometown with him upon his return from the capital.
March
Game Changer: A return to Vincent Linus, everyone's favourite green-tongued shapeshifter, sees him playing a game of identities with his more solid girlfriend Michelle, only to find that she isn't quite as comfortable with the Change as he thought.
April
The Treasure We Find: A serious contender for my favourite story I've posted, this is the tale of Thassius and Venara, twin fox thieves living in the Kingdoms of Rilodell, who set out to sneak into the lair of a slumbering red dragon and make off with some of his shiny, shiny loot, only to discover more than they'd bargained for within the cave's stone walls...
May
Bibliophile: The very first commission I've ever filled, though hopefully not the last, this short introduces us to Karen Lowes, mild-mannered librarian who's hiding the fact that she loves books even more than her profession might suggest. Thanks to Dogmeat-the-Conqueror for making this one possible.
June
Dave and Kelly: Second Helpings: Though unfortunately this relatively short story was the only time I was able to visit my favourite kitties this year, it was no less memorable for revisiting the idea of the Parrishes spending breakfast alone. This time, however, Mom and Dad are gonna be out for quite a while, so Dave and Kelly can take their sweet time and not rush things.
July
Anne and Milo: A Teaching Experience: A story I'd had in mind almost since I started writing about the Thompsons in the first place, this one sees Milo seeking comfort in his big sister's arms after a bad dream, and Anne subsequently helping Milo finally understand the nature of the problem that had been haunting him since way back in A First Time For Everything.
August
Go Love Yourself: This standalone introduces us to Stanley Stayne, a brilliant geneticist in the middle of using his lab's equipment for an unauthorized experiment to fulfil his lifelong dream of finally being able to meet his perfect mate... himself.
September
Study Break: They say there's more than one of everything, and now there's more than one story about a girl with a kink for books. This one, my half of a trade with Spix, is about a stressed-out red panda named Lily and her somewhat worried rodent boyfriend Zach. (I didn't get this one posted until October, actually, but I had it finished in time for the end of September, just needed to run it by Spix first.)
October
Pushing Buttons: A (late) birthday present for Dogmeat, Buttons shows us what happens when a zebra named Eleanor Whitfield accidentally lets her biggest secret slip to the last person on Earth she'd like to tell about it; her little sister Olivia.
November
Eric and Milo: Working Out: Anne may have helped Milo out with the mysterious feelings he had in bed, but he's still having trouble becoming comfortable with them. And it doesn't help matters much when Eric takes him to the gym and Milo finds he can't stop fantasizing about his big brother. Fortunately (for us), the feeling's mutual.
December
Services: One of the longest stories I've written for this site, this one is about Kenrai, a dragon mercenary who finds himself wandering the lands of Rilodell without a goal or a purpose, at least until he meets a strange little wolf named Colton who has a very big problem that the dragon just might be able to help him with.
And there you have it! A perfect streak again! Not one FAIL in that list! Sure, I was a bit late getting September's story up, but it's not like I used that as a crutch and didn't write one for October proper.
I can't tell you how good I feel about this, I'm immensely proud to have improved so much over last year's somewhat embarrassing showing, and I've been itching to write this journal and brag about it since the 15th, when Services went up. n_n
I would like to thank my friends, like Dogmeat and Olliver Thorne, for helping me to stay sane when the stress was getting to me, particularly towards the end of the summer. I would also like to specifically thank Ronin Drake for all the help he's given me in actually writing these stories. It turns out having someone to bounce ideas off of and run dialogue past on a regular basis makes it a lot easier to be a productive writer. Thanks a ton, Ronin. I doubt I'd have been this successful without you.
So! Though I had some ups and downs in my personal life, 2012 was a really good year for me professionally. Thanks to all of you kind readers for joining me on the ride. I feel awesome about this, to be honest, and I've got high hopes that 2013 will prove to be just as good, if not even better. *knocks on wood* n_n

Beat the Rush ;3
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, I was going to do this on Tuesday, but then there were five thousand bazillion other journals on the subject, so I figured I'd just space it out a little bit.
I sincerely hope you all had a Merry Christmas, or whatever y'all celebrated, and were able to find your own personal happiness, whatever it was. I also hope you have a happy New Year, and ask you to join me in hoping that 2013 is even better for all of us than 2012 was. n_n
Thanks for another year of support, guys. Have a good one.
WELL-WISHING OVER.

Hey, quick note
Posted 13 years agoOnce again I have managed to miss celebrating my FAnniversary. As of Monday the 3rd I have been a member of Fur Affinity for six years now. I only started posting stories after a couple years as a lurker, but still, I feel that's impressive. n_n
I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to read my stories, especially those who take the time to show their appreciation with comments and faves. In all this time, I've only received a couple of 'hater' comments, and given how many stories I've written and how many sites I post them on, I find that pretty impressive. You guys are a great audience, and your praise means the world to me, so again: Thank You.
As ever, I don't really have a smooth way to finish this journal, so instead I'll post a Christmas song written by Weebl and Right Said Fred. Seems about right.
EDIT: Oh hey, happy 12/12/12, everybody. n_n

Keeping Busy
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, sorry for going dark for a bit there. I've been hard at work, though, finished a story on Friday, actually. Along the same theme as Bibliophile, but expanded somewhat. It's for somebody, though, and I'm waiting to get the final stamp of approval before I actually post it here, but don't worry, I think it'll be worth the wait. n_n
Starting work on an Eric and Milo story, meanwhile, since it's been a while since I've written those two together (and unlike the last one, I promise this one won't end with Milo crying, poor dear). Had a bit of trouble to start with, but I think I've got a pretty good handle on it now.
Also been pondering an issue with A Blue's Arrival, which I did a while back, in anticipation of the next chapter, which I hope to get to sooner rather than aeons from now, when the Earth begins to cool. :B
Specifically, how Yajondra was described as being seven feet tall, yet with a long, flexible neck that makes the positioning of her shoulders make no sense unless she walks around with her neck held straight forward, which would be entirely silly. I was thinking of just retconning that out in the next bit, but then I remembered one of the red-bordered scenes in the last chapter only worked because of said long neck, so that's out. I suppose the easiest thing to do would be to just increase the number of feet in the description, but I don't quite want to make her tower over everyone, not to mention that I'll admit I really wasn't picturing her neck to be that much longer than a human's outside of that one scene. :P
Have to do some heavy pondering on how to make that work out, but I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.
Finally, as a reward for reading all that, enjoy a ludicrous video, as is my custom.

A Wild Meme Appears
Posted 13 years agoDamn son, it's been a whole month since I journaled last. Better fix that.
So I'll do this Pokémon Meme, which I stole from
Seigi, who I don't know personally but who put me on his profile in a list of awesome writers, awwwww.
Anywho, the idea is that instead of this being a personality test, it's more of a whimsy thing, as you head to this site, which selects a Pokémon at random, for each of your answers. Without further ado...
1. This Pokémon is your best friend.
Mewtwo. Fucking A! Already off to a good start! XD
2. This Pokémon is your boss that you need to impress for a promotion.
Stunky. Great, the farting Pokemon. This'll be awkward.
3. This Pokémon is your partner for your science project.
Gabite. I hope it's about the digestive system, then, he's an expert.
4. This Pokémon is looking for every way possible to murder you.
Virizion. Never actually heard of this one before. Apparently he's a legendary. Fuck.
5. This Pokémon is your mother-in-law.
Cubchoo. This raises many questions. <_<
6. This Pokémon is your boyfriend/girlfriend.
Tympole. That just raises further questions!
7. This Pokémon is your ex.
Metang. It's so hard to cuddle against solid steel. u_u
8. This Pokémon stalks you every waking moment.
Lanturn. What is it with the water Pokémon and me? :u
9. This Pokémon likes to snuggle with you.
Ursaring. ...Okay, can't find fault with this one. Awwww. n_n
10. This Pokémon ate all your cheesecake.
Glalie. I knew you were evil! Just look at those eyes!
11. This Pokémon is what you felt in your bed last night.
Graveler. Brb, medical attention.
12. This Pokémon banged your mom.
Aipom. You smiling son of a bitch. Don't make me cut you.
13. This Pokémon will do anything to try and get in your pants.
Cleffa. My parole officer isn't going to be happy about this.* ;>_>
*this is a joke
14. This Pokémon died by your own hands.
Flygon. Hey man, that Flygon had it coming, kidnapped Tympole and hid her in a castle.
15. This Pokémon is your loyal companion for life
Lileep. Little bit derp, but fossil Pokémon are always cool.
16. This Pokémon reads you bed time stories.
Shellos. What is with all these little babbies?
17. This Pokémon is your loving pet.
Hitmonlee. Awww yeah, ass-kicking machine.
18. This Pokémon is your creepy dentist.
Reuniclus. Well, that's plenty creepy, alright, but I'm not sure how much he knows about teeth.
19. This Pokémon is what you dream about every day.
Jellicent. Another one I'm not familiar with. But it is... so perfect... 8o
20. This Pokémon is what you found in your basement when you moved into your new house.
Got Tympole again, which has creepy implications, so I re-rolled and got:
Ariados. Well, that's entirely appropriate.
21. This Pokémon represents you.
Carnivine. A bright green dofus with a big silly grin? ...Yeah, can't argue with that. n_n
So that was fun. Realized exactly how long it's been since I actually played a Pokémon game, but I still love the little guys. n_n
Time for my trademark abrupt ending.

Happy North America week!
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, just wanted to wish all my fellow
CanadianFurs a happy Canada Day today! Hope it's something special for each and every one of you. n_n
I'll also take this opportunity to wish our friends to the south a happy Independence Day on Wednesday! We don't do much to acknowledge it around here, but I am going to be watching one of my father's favourite movies on DVD that day.
And for everyone who doesn't have an excuse to set off fireworks this week, I still hope it's comfortable and relaxing for you. I'm in the process of wrapping up a story, so we can all look forward to that. n_n

Damn, you guys
Posted 13 years agoMy birthday is tomorrow (*checks clock* and by that I mean "an hour from now" :B ). Gonna be 27 (insert customary weeping and gnashing of teeth). Celebrated on the weekend, since I could get together with my family, but maybe I'll go see The Avengers again, for funsies. (It was fucking awesome, by the by. You should probably go see it.)
I'm feeling pretty good about myself compared to this time last year. Feel more in control of my writing, less hampered by blocks, and I've got a couple of leads that could actually lead to publication, which would be rad.
Maybe getting older isn't so bad when you're actually making progress. XD
Now then, where's that cake...

Posted 13 years agoI've wanted to get that journal about Adblocking off my userpage for a while now, partly because it's big, partly because I solved the problem (for the record, they changed the URLs so you can block an individual user's pics by blocking "https://t.facdn.net/*#theirname|", with the | cutting it off to prevent blocking "TeddyBear" if you block "Teddy").
Thing is, I didn't have anything else to put here. So, I figure I'll just tell you to go read The Treasure We Find, my newest story, and post the dumbest video I can think of.
That'll do, Green.
That'll do.

Adblock woes (lots of words)
Posted 13 years agoHey guys, I had a question to just throw out there. If you don't want to read this long-winded explanation, just skip to the big bold ANYWAY near the bottom.
Since Fur Affinity doesn't have a proper blacklist system, I used to jerry-rig my own system where I would block all the artwork by a person I didn't like for whatever reason by adding "facdn.net/art/(name)/*" to my ad blocker. Now, I also had to do this for the big previews you'd see on someone's userpage if it was in their faves, since that had a different filename system, but that didn't come up very often since I didn't usually find myself on the pages of people who were big fans of artists I disliked. Can't imagine why. :B
The thing is, this new thumbnail system has rather completely messed that up. See, the filename for Game Changer's new thumbnail, for example, is "facdn.net/7668533@300-1332920775.jpg". That doesn't have my username in it anywhere, so even adding "*TastesLikeGreen*" to an adblocker would do diddly-squat for that. Suddenly the images I'd rather not see are all too visible again. Doesn't help that a couple of those artists were rather popular... <_<;
Now, even while I was using this system, I thought the whole thing was just me being crazy, but it turns out I'm not at all the only one, there's a thread in the forums about it, but there's no real solution found so far. (it's here, by the way: http://forums.furaffinity.net/threa.....AdBlock-broken ). Taking the time to individually block each and every picture I don't like is of course an exercise in futility, since artists tend to be prolific creatures and I don't wish to spend all my free time censoring bad things, and although one guy in the thread resorted to it, I'd rather not just block "t.facdn.net/*" and render all thumbnails invisible; although you could still navigate the site and see an actual image by clicking on the name in a thumbnail, that's like dealing with a cancerous tumour by vapourizing the patient. :P
I'd heard a vague statement about people previously using user scripts to create their own blacklists, but I was unable to get any links, and searching for such a thing on Google didn't get me anything (I blame the fact that Google seems to treat "blacklist" and "block" as the same word in terms of finding hits, for some asinine reason), not to mention the fact that I'm not entirely sure I would know how to implement a user script solution even if I did find one, since I'm about as familiar with user scripts as I am with fighter jets.
ANYWAY, after all that, here's what it boils down to:
Other than just plain ignoring them, what do you guys use to deal with artwork you don't want to see anymore? Got a link to a user script that could help me? Perhaps an explanation on what that means, anyway? SoFurry and Inkbunny both come with a built-in feature to hide stuff you don't like, but this is the furry site I care about the most, I've met good friends here. Can anyone throw me a bone?

Ah, what a day!
Posted 13 years agoSt. Patrick's Day makes me smile. I look around, and everywhere I lay my eyes I see my favourite colour. I've got a nice festive shirt on, personally, no pinches for me.
Thought I would take the opportunity of such a holiday to remind you guys that I'm still alive, even if I haven't been very active on here lately.
I'm working on a story as we speak, one that's turning out very nicely so far, and one that I believe I'll have done by the end of March, knock on wood. Oh, and it's about an old friend we haven't seen in quite some time now, so that reunion should be fun.
Hope you guys are having a good one, may you all have the luck of the Irish this weekend no matter what colour you're wearing.

Hey Guys
Posted 13 years agoA good friend of mine, the ever kind and wonderful
dogmeat-the-conqueror, wrote me a giftstory last week, a lovely short depicting the (clean) goings-on on Dave and Kelly Parrish's Valentine's Day. Makes me smile and captures the characters well, there's just one thing wrong with it: it hasn't gotten enough attention.
So, gentle readers, would you kindly go here and take a gander at His Private Valentine for me? And while you're at it, go tell Dogmeat she's awesome, she should hear more of that, methinks.

Posted 14 years agoHey guys, I can't help but notice, glancing across my userpage and messages, that as of January 9th, I reached 500 watchers here on Fur Affinity. In a word, whoa.
This is, of course, a Big Deal, and I'm tremendously thankful to each and every one of you* for helping me reach that number, and for showing your support.
I've noticed people celebrating big round numbers with special images and such. Wish I had some big, incredible story to mark the occasion, but I'm afraid I completely failed to notice it was coming up. Whoops! XD
That aside, I'm stoked that I made it to this point, and as always, I hope I can continue to keep the level of quality up nice and high so that you fine crowd can continue to enjoy my best work. n_n
Thanks much, Fur Affinity. You rule.
-LARGE NUMBER OBSERVATION OVER.
*Except you. No, not you, you.

2011, Year in Review
Posted 14 years agoGot distracted last week, forgot to do this little ritual. Better late than never, it's not like 2011 is any less in the past now, right?
Anyway, in 2010, I completely failed to get a story out in two out of the twelve months, and several of the others were technicalities, like finishing a story in the wee hours of the 1st of the month. Let's see if I did better in 2011, shall we?
January
His Big Little Bitch: Although this story didn't make it to Fur Affinity until November, I wrote it in January and kept it offline while it was judged for submission in an actual print entry. It's about a pair of half-brothers who enjoy getting up to red-bordered antics, though they might be enjoying it more than they let on...
February
Only The Penitant Man Will Pass: A rather different story to the ones I usually post, this one concerns a rather unstable man named Penance, and what he plans to do to those who have wronged others. Part of a much, much larger story I have yet to put to paper.
March
Empty: A short story about a raccoon who wakes up with blue balls when he's interrupted in the middle of a sexy dream, and has to take matters into his own hands. Prequel to June's entry, though no one seemed to notice. n_n
April
FAIL: I didn't manage to submit anything at all to FA during that month. Shame on me. u_u;
May
Stress Relief: An Eric and Milo Short: The first short in my series about brotherly incest, this one is a simple tale where Eric takes it upon himself to help his little brother feel better after having a crappy day.
June
The More Things Change: A bit of a departure for me, this one was about our lonely raccoon friend realizing that the answer to his problems might be closer at hand than he realized. It was also an excuse for me to write about pegging! n_n
June was also the only month of 2011 where I submitted more than one story; the other one was John and Kee: Early to Rise, a smutty short about a pair of fox brothers named John and Kieran, and their somewhat unorthodox (read: sexy) morning ritual.
July
FAIL: The only things I posted to the site in July were a picture of an old friend of mine in scraps, and a copy of
Beeboi's magnificent picture of Dave and Kelly, "Love is Love". But hey, any opportunity to tell people to go tell my friends they're awesome is a good one, so go and do that, kay? :3
August
Dave and Kelly: Truth Hurts: Incredibly, the only entry in this series last year, and it was even clean! Still, I'm told it's a good read anyway, as Kelly confronts Dave with her fears about the future and the way the world might react to their relationship.
September
FAIL: Nothing to see here, move along, move along.
October
John and Kee: The Swimsuit Edition: The second story about these two naughty vulpines, this smutty short sees John and Kieran teasing and playing with each other, and the idea of getting caught, in their backyard hot tub.
November
FAIL: As previously noted, I posted His Big Little Bitch to the site in this month, but since it had been finished for almost a year, and I already counted it for January, including it on the list again would be very childish of me. u_u
December
FAIL: And I finished the year the way it began, by not posting any stories to Fur Affinity. Whoops! XD
At least I got to post this awesome picture of Vincent, which was of course drawn by the charitable and kind-hearted
Jacethearcticwolf.
So there you have it, five different FAILs without even technicalities to cover them. Ouch. Still, I knew that if 2010 was a rough year, 2011 was a terrible one, at least in terms of writing. Ah well, I've already got a story posted for January, so 2012 is off to a good start. Here's hoping that this time next year, I can hold my head high as I write a journal with fewer blank listings. n_n *knocks on wood*

Time gets away from you
Posted 14 years agoHey guys, sorry I've been kinda running dark lately. For that matter, sorry I didn't finish a story in December. :P
Had a pretty good New Year's, figured you fine people didn't need one more journal wishing you good tidings. Got some significant work done on a sequel to A Blue's Embrace this week, but it looks like it's gonna be really long, even by my standards, so I don't know how much longer it will take me to finish.
That's kind of the problem, really. Since about mid-2010, I've been totally unable to finish a story in anything resembling a reasonable amount of time. It isn't because I'm losing interest in the characters, I'm sure Dave and Kelly and Eric and Milo have plenty of stories left to tell, and even if they didn't, there are several unfinished stand-alone stories on my hard drive I could be working on. It's not even a "taking my time to keep the quality high" thing, there have been entire weeks where I'll write maybe two sentences, either because I'm busy or (more likely) just really distracted.
You know, it's been eight months since the last Eric and Milo short, and more than a year since their last full story? Hell, the previously-mentioned dragon story came out in 2009, as did the last story I wrote containing my supposed "main" character, Vincent. I feel terrible for neglecting these characters, feel like I'm letting their fans down.
Let me tell you, I am very aware of the date counters on those stories getting further and further back, and that, plus various other failings of my writing, gives me a tremendous headache. Focusing on the problem for too long just gets me upset, which isn't helpful because that just makes it impossible, as opposed to difficult, to write.
I don't know, maybe I can do something about it. Keep thinking positively, right? Maybe 2012 will be the year I turn it around and put out a story every month again. It would be a tremendous relief to me, anyway, and I bet you lot would be pleased as punch to see more frequent uploads, if I do say so myself. n_n
Sorry that this turned into a bit of a vent journal. I guess that stuff had just been bothering me for a while now. :P
Anyway, yeah. New year, new stories (*knocks on wood*), and hopefully I get back into the groove of things soon. Thanks to all of you for supporting my work, and for patiently putting up with my delays. Here's hoping we all have a lovely year.

Merry Christmas, you guys
Posted 14 years agoI know, I know, you've gotten fifty bazillion journals on the subject. But I feel a journal about something very happy and loving is appropriate to push off a journal about something very solemn and sad. I'm feeling a lot better than I was when I wrote that journal, and I wanted to share part of it with you here, with good wishes about the season.
Merry Christmas to all my readers and all my friends here on FA. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, well then I hope you enjoy whatever you do celebrate. This is a time of happiness, after all, and happiness is all-inclusive.
Happy Holidays, you guys. Here's to the new year.
Keep it Green!

The Worst Kind of Journal
Posted 14 years agoFor once I don't have any witty comments to put in here.
My cat, Teddy, whose picture I put up a long while ago (click), was very sick, and today we had to have her put down. She was thirteen years old, so she wouldn't have hung around for very much longer anyway, but I still feel like I've been stabbed in the chest with an icicle.
Apologies to Ronin for bumping his poem (which even now brings a smile to my face) off the top of my journals so soon, I just had to say something about this.

Holy crap you guys
Posted 14 years agoYou'll all remember
RoninDrake from his delightful poem, I'm Sorry I Came In Your Mouth, inspired by the Dave and Kelly story First Date.
Well, he's gone and done it again, with a new work called Twice Lovely, which is based on the series as a whole, with the idea being it's a Valentine's Day gift from Dave to Kelly. It's as adorable as the other one was amusing. You might say it's most awwwwww-inspiring. n_n
So what are you waiting for? Go check it out here and then tell Ronin how awesome he is.

Whoops, missed a Big Number
Posted 14 years agoI've just now noticed that my FAnniversary was on Saturday. And it's a semi-impressive number too.
As of December 3rd, 2011, I have now been a registered member of Fur Affinity for five years. And in those five years, I have gone from being a totally invisible lurker to... whatever it is I am these days. XD
Mind you, I know for a fact that I didn't even begin to come out of my shell until mid-2008, so it's really just a number, but still.
FA has been good to me. Made a bunch of really good friends here, found an audience who seems to enjoy my silly pervy stories as much as I do, and of course, all the practice has helped me improve my skills as a writer. :3
Wish I had some big fancy story or epic commissioned picture to celebrate the occasion with. Probably would have made arrangements if it had occurred to me sooner. XD
Ah well, I wanna thank everyone who's ever read one of my stories, you guys give me the encouragement I need to keep writing, and you're a great audience. n_n
As of December 3rd, 2011, I have now been a registered member of Fur Affinity for five years. And in those five years, I have gone from being a totally invisible lurker to... whatever it is I am these days. XD

Posted 14 years agoHey guys, do you remember First Date? The Dave and Kelly story where they went to the city so they could act like a couple in public for a change?
It opens up with Dave apologizing for a drunken misdeed in the bedroom by giving Kelly a custom-made card with a poem in it, a poem rather more graphic than the kind Hallmark usually prints. But I'm no poet myself, so I left the exact contents of that poem up to the reader's imagination.
Well, the kindly
RoninDrake took it upon himself to actually write out such a poem, so that after two years, we finally get to see what made Kelly laugh so much even as she was blushing. n_n
You can find the fruit of his labour, "I'm Sorry I Came In Your Mouth", here.
I suppose this counts as the first fanfiction I've received based on my stories, and it's had me grinning all day. So go tell Ronin how awesome he is, 'kay? :3

Yogourt, anyone?
Posted 14 years agoIt's been a while since I journaled, but it's slightly too early for American Thanksgiving, so instead I'll just post something completely ridiculous and call it a day.
Yeah. That'll do nicely.
Keep it Green.
