I had enough of a buffer built up that I was sitting here going "it's going to take weeks to get anywhere" and I am too excited to share the pages with people. >:| So I decided to push the updates up to twice weekly (at least until I realize I run out of buffer because I'm too damn busy-- hopefully I won't get to that point!).

I've been putting off the next commission stream due to overstressing my thumb-- (I have permanent nerve damage in my thumb on my right hand from the way the tablet pen rests against it, apparently, and most of the time it's just mostly numb, but it gets worse when I draw). The last 6 hour marathon really did a number on it, as well as aggravate the old nerve damage in my shoulder, and I need all those nerves to work with the horses without being in too much discomfort. So hopefully tomorrow night I'll be feeling up to another streaming session, and can knock out more of those expression sheets! Watch the journal spot for the announcement--!

Thanks to everyone again, I'm finally in my new place, and set up with internet. Tomorrow night, to celebrate, I'll have a HUGE commission streaming session to start taking chunks out of the queue!

I still have not got caught up with all the people I need to thank or reply to, but if you haven't heard back from me, don't worry, you haven't been forgotten.

You have no idea how much all your support and kindness means-- I was and still am literally overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity and help you all have offered. I was not expecting it, and I will do my very best to get back to everyone I owe correspondence to as soon as I possibly can. This will have to be a short update and I know there are a lot of notes and emails to be answered and people to thank individually, but I won't have reliable internet for about a week yet. I will get back to everyone as soon as I'm able when I can grab more time at a hotspot.

I've been waiting for three long, long months to finally get the email that showed up in my inbox this morning. It says those words I needed so badly to hear, that I've been accepted to Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, KY.

Nothing special about a community college usually, except that its the home of the North American Racing Academy. To get into NARA, you first have to be accepted to Bluegrass.

The application to NARA went out in the mail as soon as I got this email.

If things keep going right, in August I'll be moving to Kentucky and on my way to being a professional thoroughbred jockey!
