Hi again Everyone!

Hope you had a good week.

I'm shifting the date of the Mystery Drawing slot release to Thursday. And half of them will be by lottery, to give different people a chance to grab a slot.
It will probably a 24 hour lottery, with the results being announced the next day at noon.

The comic is going well. Drawing 2 simultaneous sex scenes is pretty fun and i mostly have them mapped out on how I want them to go. So that's nice.

The end of September really came up fast. I need to figure out how to maximize each day a little more.

I need to figure out how to take time to exercise more. I'll figure it out.

How are you guys doing? Any recent challenges or victories?

In an effort to adjust my schedule, I'm going to shift the Opening of the Slots to Thursdays. (starting 9/29) 10 slots will be open on Thursday.

I will still open slots this Sunday, ( 9/25) But only 4 slots will be opened, in order to be free to open the 10 slots for Thursday.

So This Sunday : 4 Slots

Then following Thursday: 10 Slots

The weather here has calmed down considerably.

Mystery Drawings are going well. I'm still enjoying them. I'm really happy they are selling and each drawing feels new and fresh and I get to opportunity to show a good part of the character.

I always got a bit sad during YCH's when say, there's a character with just the back showing and the chosen character for the slot has a plain back but a really cool interesting front. I'd want to draw the best part of the character, ya know?

With Mystery Drawings, I can, so that's pretty cool.

Right now I'm trying to save up money so I don't have to live with my parents anymore.
Moved back in with them because I lost my job to covid. But then all the rent and other prices shot up and
I don't know if I can afford to live out there anymore. Just waiting for a house crash or something.

Hey guys, your weekly S4S:VN update is sparse.
I did not get much done.

Because coding is hard to learn. It’s kinda a reach for my skill set (but not impossible)
I’m frustrated at the slow progress I’m making. I'm using a combination of Khan Academy, Codecademy, and Grasshopper.

I want to make the game with all the stats and affection rates and games of chance and make an inventory/stat window and stuff.

I need to learn how to make these things in Java script and then learn how to use Tyano script .

Which brings me to,

Does anyone know how to use these things? I would love a tutor. I think a tutor would make this go a lot quicker.

I would be able to offer, in exchange for tutoring, either art or maybe around $10 per hour of tutoring.
also, goes without saying, their character will appear in the VN.

(as will others. When I’m at that stage, I’ll prolly hold some kinda raffle or something to be a background character in the VN.

The more coding I am able to learn, the more I can do and the faster I can do it.

I drew a good deal of backgrounds, including:
The Compound Lobby, Multiple scenes of the Transport Vehicle (That the slaves ride in before entering the compound), Some heart faction areas, like part of a maze and the central plaza area, The entrance to the diamond faction, The inside of an elevator, Claudius' shop, and others.

I drew some character designs for Mink, Juliet (new squirrel character), Puck (new fox character) and Loki (new fennic-dragon character.)

I m also trying to learn javascript so i can include stats and small games in the VN.

So my current goal is to save up enough money to buy a desktop computer and a VR system.

Because I want to learn 3D modelling, then create a virtual BDSM space for people.

So I thought that if i just draw 300 drawings for $10 each, then I can meet my goal of $3,000.

On a more life note. I've been thinking about what to do with my life, since I'm in my early 30's now. And the best thing I could come up with, was to help people ease their mental stress through the practice of BDSM. And since I'm an artist, I can create worlds. And what better world to create, then one you can stand in. Thus my money goal.

About the comic, I love it, I really would love to sit here and create it. But I can't figure out how to make enough money off it for it to be worth the amount of time it takes to create, versus being able to draw other things or do other things in my life. So I have to figure out some way to make more money so I can sit and just draw a comic for free.

Anyways, the sooner I reach 300 drawings, the sooner I can reach the next stage of my plan.

I’ve started writing a book. It’s going to be about using BDSM as a support to help people find balance and become more fulfilled.

It’s also going to be about trying to create a possible realistic BDSM sort of place to be. Where people can come to “reset” themselves.

This is all in the beginning stages and will most likely take years, but I really want to make my fantasies a reality.

Hi everyone, I thought I'd just share a bit on how my life's going, and why it's been hard for me to draw.

Most of my issues are with my lack of time management.

First off, I've never actually worked a full time job before. (In the past I was doing full- time school, part-time job) (or just school or just part-time job)
I gotta say, it really does take up a fuck-load of time. Jeezus. Idk how people have lives outside of work.

On a good note, I just got a dollah raise at my job after 3 months of working there. The work has gotten pretty easy at this point, and I get along with my co-workers so it's a pretty nice experience (apart from the customers.)

Tho i'm still not making anywhere near a living wage. It makes me feel like a failure to be unable to support myself at this stage in my life.

Secondly, I'm trying to keep a clean apt. but i'm not really used to cleaning. So dishes and vacuuming and things take a lot of energy. I also cook most meals for my partner and myself. Which takes up time.

I'm also trying to exercise more to help my back problems. It has been working a little, so woo!

Thirdly, When I do find the time to draw, I sit there for hours drawing and erasing the same head or body or arm or hand. So many drafts. So many things that don't look or feel right. After a few hours I get frustrated and just put it away. So while it looks like I've been inactive, I've just been in a corner, drawing and erasing things.

Fourth...ly, There's lots of times where I get home from work and I just want to relax and watch TV or play video games.

anyways, i dont know if i'm trying to excuse my behavior or something. in an ideal world, i would love to not work and just be able to draw and write and create stuff. But I have to make money. I have to pay my part of the rent and buy food.

I really want to keep going, keep drawing. I still have lots of stories to tell. I'm going to keep trying. I've been trying all this time.

Theres going to be places/people I wont be able to visit much in the main story, so i thought I'd do little one-page explanations of some things.

I did the numbers. My new job is going to make me almost twice what I got at my last job.

Which means...

I don't have to draw too much for money anymore.

Which means I can make the comic a priority.

After almost 9 months of job searching, I got a job! It’s customer service based but it also has tips so I’m pretty excited.

My current job was driving me crazy and eating up all my energy. I still have 2 weeks there so not out of the woods yet.

Alrighty! I managed to force myself through the art block! I just kept coaching myself and it worked out!
Gonna draw and stuff for the next few days, work on some comic pages, maybe put up a YCH, do a commission thats been waiting int he wings but not processed or started yet.
