Posted 13 years agoHey guys.... Or, the few of you that I know are actually watching...
FA has been nice, but, to tell the truth, I've never really felt welcome here.... And I feel that, because of who I am, and what I believe, that I could never be accepted enough to be myself
Here, I always have to be closed mouthed about what I love..... Because I've seen the attacks on others when THEY speak up about it.... And I'll see comments that will ruin my mood for days at a time
I also think that this site is becoming a bad influence on me, my attitude, and my thoughts seem to be going in a direction that I don't like, and my only connection is my getting on FA more....
So, what I'm saying here is.... i'm leaving FA..... Not altogether, but only because my good friend felisrandomis is active on here more than on deviantart, and I need to keep in contact with her.... And to open up for commissions once and a while (though all my newest art examples will come from deviantart, but don't worry, you don't need to be a member to see them)
So I will occasionally pop back here, but I will be unwatching all the artists except the few friends I have become close with, this is only so I won't be bombarded with submissions and random journals after being gone for months at a time
I will also not be posting anything else, unless It is a commission for someone here
i will always be thankful for FA, for the fursuit inspiration, the few laughs, and the great friends that I've met here.... i will keep in touch with you when I can..........
But out of everything that's happened on FA, 2 really good things stand out.... 1. i met my love here,

WATERCOLOR COMMISSION SPECIAL
Posted 13 years agoyes I am doing a watercolor special for commissions! I'll be actually doing these on the 9th, but I'm closing commissions on the 7th (this gives me time to have them sketched for painting)
the reason is because I am remaking my commission price sheet, making it into one picture (thats why I deleted my donations thingy on deviavtart) so I'll be drawing an example for all the mediums that I use sketch, detailed sketch, line art, pencil shaded, crayon, colored pencils, copic markers, pen and ink, watercolor, digi sketch, digi lineart, digi flat color, digi simple shaded, digi complex shaded, and full blown digital with backround and everything........
but since I need to get out my watercolor stuff anyway, and it'd be a waste just to do ONE pic and then have to put it all away again....... I'm opening up 5 slots for watercolor only!

I have enough, but it's really chipping away at my savings.....(which I was saving for buying a house remember)

scary news....................... my gallbladder surgery is tomorrow (the 16th) at 10AM (US central time) I am supposed to be there at 7:30 AM to be admitted........ so I'll have to wake up at around 5:30 or 6 to make sure I'm ready.............
I'll be admitted, sent up for the surgery, then put in a recovery room...... then hopefully sometime that afternoon I'll be released........... yes it's only an out-patient procedure........after that I wont be too up for anything, I suspect I'll just be sleepy and want to nap....... but.......... THEN I'LL HAVE 6 WEEKS TO DO NOTHING BUT DRAW!!!!!!!!.............. YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY

sad news................................. we ran the race for a house............... but I tripped on the finish line................ my dad couldn't co-sign for me like we all thought he could....... and I couldn't qualify for the loan because my car payments put my income-debt ratio at 51%............... in legal terms, that means that if I had to do house payments, then I wouldn't make enough money......................dad, mom, and I all went over our options for the house..... talked about it for hours........................... but in the end, the choice was clear...... we had to walk away.......... I.... I...... I'm depressed about it....... we were SO @*^#ING CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!
should I delete the pics of the house?.......... or just move them to scraps.........

SOOO I was wondering... does anyone want a free request? as some of you know, I'm a catholic, so I celebrate lent. this means that I give atleast one major sacrifice of my time, or joys.... and I just figured out what would be the biggest sacrifice of my life right now..... everyone knows that pokemon heart gold and pokemon soul silver are coming out soon... and I've been in a huge pokemon frenzy lately, so for my lenten sacrifice I am giving up pokemon!!!! I will still buy HG and SS (I have them reserved) but I will keep them unopened on my shelf .... this is going to be hard..... this also means that if you guys want to see the end of that comic about eddward then you will have to tell me by this wednesday (ash wednesday)

OK so mom got home and I told her my plan then she said "I think it would be impossible to avoid pokemon on the web, or at our conventions...." Posted 16 years agoAYAYYAYAYYYAYAYYYAYSVEGYRCVHGTYRECWJYT!!!! OK you know how my scanner hates my art and eats everything in sight? well I just recently bouhgt a new one (tested it out yesterday) AND IT IS AWSOME! it even picked up my sketches! it doesn't like blues or greens very much but its still better then that piece of....... *beep beep* (I don't cuss ^^;) I used to use.... and now I can start uploading nicer pics (and more of them since this new scanner is easier to use and I don't have to adjust the setting for every picture) and since it will pick up my sketches I can show you my doodles, without always having to darken the lines! (that got annoying) any way I just thought I'd let you guys know that to explain why I am going on an uploading spree

I just tested it and it is easier to use than I thought! um.... also this means that later when I am taking costume commissions then I will be able to do spots, stripes, patterns, and all sorts of extra stuff! of course it will cost extra.... well kasame is supposedly ancient japanese and means "beautiful lotus... I'm not sure if thats right but the friend who gave me the name told me that and it sounds nice ^^
