Apologies for the lack of uploads! Been all quiet these past two weeks as I completed over 20 cel-shaded badges for ConFuzzled delivery. (see http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23590463/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23590476/ )

I've also been working hard to improve my Dealer's den setup, as so many people now have these amazing tables with tons of stock and prints I wanted to up my game! This year I'll have a few surprises at my table for sure :) be sure to come and say hello at table 110 if you're attending the con! As usual, I will be open for at-con sketch commissions and more than happy to discuss future digital commission slots. I also have three traditional original pinups up for auction in the charity art show! Well worth a look if you fancy owning something unique from me (and want to give a bit to charity!) :D

Will be heading off to ConFuzzled on Thursday morning. I've been a good egg and finished all my prep last Friday, so will be able to spend the remaining days returning to work on my queued commissions. Very grateful to everyone for their patience! I'm not attending Eurofurence this year so this is the last time I'll be preoccupied like this. Back to normal eh :)

I've caught up quite a bit since the last update, family emergency is resolved and I'm back to a normal schedule.

I'm going home to see my family tonight until Saturday morning, as I'll be at JFTW over Easter weekend. I'll be using my time in the evenings to work on WIP sketches for all remaining commissions (will be resting too of course :P). As JFTW is next week, finishing pre-ordered badges when I get back is priority but it shouldn't take too long. Already done most of my con prep besides those.

Commission slots for April will be opening this Saturday, 8th April at 5pm BST. As FWA is on I will leave the form open overnight if needs be.

Just here to apologise as I've had two setbacks this week. One was the irreversibly corrupted file of a finished 4 character commission that i've had to practically start over, and the second is a family emergency. I am working as hard as i can to catch up but please understand that a chunk of my time will be spent away from work checking up on a relative this week.

If any commissioners have concerns at ALL please email me, I always have my phone or ipad with me if i'm not at my desk. Progress is still being made. There shouldn't be huge delays but this has set me back quite a bit from where I planned.

Finally home, had a relaxing and fun 2 weeks off!

I will be posting my new prices tomorrow for people to have a look at. I'm reintroducing coloured sketch and flat colour options this year! Changing things up a bit, but not too much. Gotta play it SAFE.

I just wanna say I always read every comment posted on my work, and it makes everything worth it!

I'm sorry I don't always reply to them, its kind of "all or nothing" with me, otherwise I'd be writing out replies all day, haha. I worry if I reply to some and not others you'll think I'm playing favourites or something so I just stay quiet. But I enjoy them a lot, and I love all of you. I joined the internet at a time the hate machine was just powering up and I was a terribad amateur artist and I'm still genuinely terrified sharing anything most of the time, so to know that you guys appreciate what I do means the world. I know my weakpoints and I'm striving to make them my strengths, so I hope you'll keep following my progress in the time to come!

Full commissions will probably stay closed until January as I want to give the last few on my queue my absolute 100%, and that takes me longer these days. Moreover, prices will be going up in the new year by a fraction, maybe 10%. I hope that won't inconvenience many of you that do or consider commissioning me, but I need to figure out the best way to continue doing my best work whilst earning enough to live off.

I /miiight/ open for icons or something before Christmas, if I end up having a few days spare before I head home to see the family. That'd be fun! Stay tuned :D

Back from ScotiaCon, was really chill. Got to see a lot of pals and had a productive dealer's den, so it's all good. Thanks to those who made it a good one!

Back to the important stuff. I know a lot of you have been asking about when I'll be opening for commissions next, and I can now finally answer. It'll be Thursday the 10th, this week. However, it's not going to be for very many slots!

I've recently received news I'll be getting my share of a bit of inheritance, so I'll be using some of those funds to cover some bills until to the new year to catch up with my queue once and for all. I always try to take on as many commissions as possible so as not to disappoint anyone, but unfortunately this is why I usually end up a few pieces behind each month. I tried to push myself for 20 pieces a month but realistically I've found that my output is only around 15 pieces. It's a sustainable output regardless, but I've become a bit of a boring workaholic and I'd like to start scheduling proper days off work! I think I remember having hobbies once besides sleeping...

Enough of that waffle eh, you've got the opening date. Will post an opening journal on Thursday around 19:00 GMT! I apologise in advance if you miss it, there will only be about 4 slots. I'm sorry I can't take on more!

Just a quick "what's been happening" journal.

Currently catching up after my birthday yesterday and spending all weekend at my parents', so expect a bulk of updates this week.
Not very exciting turning 26, but I did visit the Museum of Flight (near Edinburgh) on Sunday. Had a look inside Concorde, a de Havilland Comet, and a few other favourite aircraft which was really cool. Getting another tattoo on Wednesday and will be seeing good friends next weekend, so that should wrap up the week nicely.

I will be opening for October commissions on Friday the 7th, for 8-10 slots maximum (good time to take advantage of my tanking currency). New for this month, I will be including a list of themes/ideas that I'd really like to work on, for those who might be stuck for an idea!

There will be more slots per opening available in the coming months, but Scotiacon is in a few weeks, so October will be a busy month.

Hi all!

Just a quick update for those who haven't heard from me yet, queue progress is going as planned. I'm currently getting through about 5 commissions a week, this rate will increase (just have to get through the full background/couple dealios first)!

I will be opening tomorrow (19:00 BST) for a few slots as currency conversion/commission rate hit me coming back from EF and I need to cover a few bills. These slots will also be completed in September, I'm not going anywhere or doing anything from now until Scotiacon in November so back on a full work schedule. I've also made some small changes to my commission form, which I'll explain upon opening tomorrow.

Keep an eye out for streams in the coming weeks, I'm going to try and stream during late evening/early mornings a few times a week as I'd quite like to catch people from other timezones who might like to watch!

As mentioned, I'll be attending Scotiacon again this year, and will have a table of goodies. This is my 5th SC already, time flies eh! I've also registered for JFTW in Bristol next year, which looks to be a lot of fun. Sadly I don't think I'll be making any conventions overseas this year or next, as I'd like to learn to drive and start saving (I'd also like to do some proper touristy travelling).

This year's EF was probably my favourite con to date. It different from my usual experience, it was a lot more relaxed and I didn't really drink that much which I think helped most, but I had such a good experience in the dealer's den alongside great company and great food that it easily beat the lot. Love to all me pals, you know who you are.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to visit me in the den, you all made me so happy! I worked hard, made my financial goal and only ended up with 3 small take-home commissions (two of which were unfortunately due to a lack of foresight in that I didn't bring my markers and was faced with a shiny surface to draw on, whoops). So all in all, a great success. I'm super inspired to get back to work and have many ideas for future den stock :D
