Hello FurAffinity!
General | Posted 12 years agoHello FA! I'm Tearany, and I draw things! Please forgive my mess, I'm still kinda new around here! (Just ignore the account creation date, it LIES!)
I'm not terribly active here, and I'm kinda bad at replying to people, but if you're desperate to contact me, please do so at one of the links below!

Commissions: Terms of Service!
General | Posted 12 years agoThinking about commissioning me? Wow, thank you so much, I'm honored!! I ask that you please read this over, so that we're all on the same page. Feel free to ask about something if it's not mentioned here, I'm still noobish at commissions and I could use all the feedback I can get!
I Will Draw
- animals/feral
- anthros
- humans
- characters of any gender
- ponies
- original characters
- fan characters
- some gore/blood
- suggestive poses/pinup
- anything!
I Will Not Draw
- genitalia of any kind
- fetish of any kind
- porn of any kind
- copyrighted characters
- hateful/racist imagery
- anything depicting illegal activities
(I don't feel comfortable drawing anything that would make my mom squeamish, or anything owned by someone else, except for gifts. Better to be on the safe side.)
I Find it Hard to Draw
- robots/mecha
- backgrounds, especially interior or cityscape
- hyperrealism
- snarly/angry creatures
(You can ask for these to challenge me, but I can't guarantee the outcome, and it may take longer for me to finish!!)
I don't charge extra for complex characters. At all.
There is no price difference between feral and anthro characters.
I define "bust" as shoulders-up.
I define "waist up" as no legs.
"Full body" is obvious.
Coloring Commissions
These are commissions where you provide me lineart and references, and I'll color the lineart for you! The prices are usually cheaper than the original art listed above, but the price entirely depends on the complexity of the lineart and the character. Feel free to ask for a price quote if you're interested!
Price Modifiers
Basically if you want to add any of the following things to your commission I'll add a small extra fee on top of your total. These apply to any type of commission except for Iron Artist commissions.
Example: Say if I bought a full body, flat colored commission but also wanted my character to blink, that'd be +3 dollars on top of the 15$. The total would be 18$.
(Bear in mind that adding animation to a fully painted and colored piece is going to significantly reduce the quality of the art! The animation modifier is mostly for the icons. :B)
The extra character price is flat-rate at 3$. Extra characters, extra forms of the same character, or otherwise extra bodies in the same picture qualify for the +3$.
Edit [22/08/13]: I was asked if a cerberus counts as one character, or three. I count cerberus characters as one, as I count by the number of full forms I have to draw, regardless of extra limbs. # Two characters sharing a body in the same picture counts as one character to draw. Two rabbits in the same picture counts as two characters.
Steps
1) Please provide visual references! I don't do very good with written ones. Written + visual is always good as well! I don't mind dollmaker references as well, but please tell me about any differences between the dollmaker picture and the character in your head. I would also like to know about the personality of the character, their name, etc. so I can pose them! You're always welcome to suggest a pose for me too.
2) I'll draw up a quick sketch so you can see all the details, and send it to you for approval. Tell me whatcha like, whatcha don't like, and I'll fix and show you again. If everything's all good I'll move right to step 3!
3) I'll finish according to what kind of commission you payed for! This could take anywhere from a couple days to a few weeks, depending on how busy I am. If you ask I could try to give you an estimate.
4) I'll show you the finished version, low res with lots of watermarks. If you like it, send me the money to my Paypal (I'll pick up any fees!) and I'll send you the high res version in exchange!
Unfortunately I am Paypal only, and my prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Please send payment as a "Purchase of Services/Goods". I'll wait three days for payment, no longer, so please have your money ready!
Terms of Service
My commissions are essentially a paid request. This means you have rights to certain things with my art, but I retain some rights as well.
I have the rights...
- to refuse any commission request.
- to the copyright of the artwork.
- to post it to my blog/FA/DA/portfolio site/etc., as promotion for myself. (Unless you request otherwise.)
- to change the prices or terms, without notice. Should I change the price, you will not be charged/refunded the difference.
You may not...
- sell the artwork for any sort of money, real or fake. (If you want to be able to sell it, ask me about it before I start.)
- claim you or someone else drew it.
You may...
- make prints for your personal use only.
- crop the artwork to make icons, etc. for your personal use only.
- upload it to any site, but only with my written permission.
Refunds/Cancelling
- I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, though I will sincerely try my best not to. In that event, I will give you a full refund, and my sincerest apologies. :'C
- If you decide to cancel, you'll be refunded 50% of what you payed, regardless if what stage of completion I'm at.
That was a text brick, I'm sorry! Does all that make sense though? If you're confused about anything, please don't hesitate to ask!
