So, I got back from my little mini vacation today that lasted from Thursday evening to Sunday morning (3 days). We had a blast! I took a bunch of pictures that I got uploaded up on facebook, so if you're my friend on there, take a look~ If you want to see the pictures, just send me a note asking for my facebook name and whatnot.

Thursday was the day to settle in the hotel room and to take a look around the place. We were on the second floor with ocean front view. We got in the Jacuzzi once in the later evening and once around 9:30-10 pm.

Friday was the huge "I'm going to enjoy the vacation-day and end up being broke afterwards" day. Seriously, $100+ dollars was spent that day, haha. We went to Ripley's Aquarium to see it. It felt nice to go there and not be on a school/church field trip. I got to see the diver in the sting ray tank and even got to pet a sting ray. They feel slimy, but awesome at the same time. I think one liked me. It not only waved at me, but it splashed me out of all the people there xD. I also got to find Nemo, Dori, and the other Cast members of Finding Nemo. I tried to turn over a horseshoe crab, but it didn't like it so I left the fella alone. What do we do after that? SEAFOOD PLACE. No joke. Expensive place too. $25 a person. Buffet, too. Loved it. I got to try crab legs. To me, they taste like mussels that taste like clams that taste like oysters. Yum.

Saturday was our lazy day. With Hurricane Sandy starting to get close, the waves were kinda rowdy. Of course, there were surfers there. We watched the NCIS marathon before watching the first two Twilight movies.

Sunday was when we had to leave. It was kinda bittersweet, I wanted to stay longer, but missed home. When we got back, I helped my cousin plan Mama's (It's what all the grandkids and great-grandkids call our Maternal grandmother) 78th birthday party. The entire family was almost there and it was a blast! EAch family member brought different kinds of foods (and snacks) over. It was fun! I love her to death!

So yeah, everything is going well! How as every one else's week?

I feel like my list is from old Animes xD. I guess I'm old ;_;

I do enjoy role playing during any free time I have and/or when I'm in the mood for it. So, I figured I would come up with a nice little faq for those who would be interested in role playing in the nearby future.

1. What do you like to role play?
I can role play movies, Anime, fantasy, whatever. However, if it's something I have never seen/read, I will do research. That way, I can make a character that fits into that specific world. I'll include a list at the end on what I have role played before.

2. Do you role play only female characters? Just Male characters?
I'm comfortable in role playing in either gender. It doesn't bother me at all:3.

3. Do you role play canon or your own original character?
A little bit of both. It depends on what series we're talking about. Sometimes it's canon, an OC, or even both. For example, if I were to be involved in an Kingdom Hearts Role play, I tend to role play Riku and/or Roxas if either have not been taken. If it's Fruits Basket, I have roleplayed Hatori and Kyou Sohma.

4. What are your pet peeves of role playing?
Hehe, I have several that probably all, if not most, rpers have. For starters, I detest Godmodders/power Players/Mary Sue/Gary Stu's. They're perfect with no flaws, can do anything and everything. If you have something in store for my character, please ask first, y'know? My original characters are like my babies ;_; I also hate one-liners if I'm posting on a forum. I do my very best to make mine lengthy in a detailed way. Yeah, it's a lot to read, but i enjoy reading well-written, thought out responses.

5. Where do you like to role play at?
Anywhere, really. I prefer forum-based role plays because with the way real life goes, I may not be able to due to work, family issues, or just not feeling up to it. It gives that "I can post when I can if I can" kinda feel. I can post on instant messengers like Skype or msn (Thank you msn plus xD).

6. Can you give us an example of your role play?
Bleach - http://sielavonrabre.proboards.com/ Yuri, Emi, Ayume, Ayane, and Hinata Nakayama along with Jiro, Kamei,Eriko, Mujitsuhana, and so many more are my characters :P
Gaea - Sadly, you have to join in order to see. Currently working on a story for the place.

7.What's your stand on adult oriented role plays?
i don't mind the flirting, or hints of sex, but roleplaying the actions of it is something I will not do. What I can tolerate is the actions leading up to sex and then the typical fade to black nonsense :P

8. Do you role homosexuals?
I do have two lesbian characters, hehe. Other than that, I role play mostly heterosexuals.

I will break it up into anime, games and cartoons (such as X-Men and anything I feel that isn't an Anime). If I have a character for either of these, I will try to include them all.

Now,if you don't see something on this list, don't be afraid to ask about something! I'll try my best if it's on something I have little to no knowledge about!

Here's one creature idea I've had for sometime now. It's heavily influenced by the Japanese spirit called Baku that can eat nightmares. So, they will all have Japanese like names.

Yukoren - These are beings that devour dreams. They're usually pacifists and generally never fight unless it is to defend their territory. There are gender differences to help tell them apart. Not only that, there are clan differences as well which will be discussed later.

[*]Horns that vary in size and shape/style
[*] Very tall with the minimum height being at least 6'.

The Yukoren are broken up into two clans: Those who eat nightmares (Tanoshī) and those who eat pleasant dreams (ryōshi). Here are the differences between the clans.

Tanoshī yume (Tanoshī for short. Means Pleasant Dreams)

[*]Have very light, ghost like skin color (From very pale to a beige, human like color)
[*]They only devour Nightmares. Purebreeds can also create happy dreams to put into their "victim"
[*]Exist in balance with the Ryōsh clan.

[*]Have darker skin tones than their counterpart clan ranging from light tan to dark tan.

Both clans are able to reproduce with each other, but prefer to stay within their own clan. If two Yukoren mate from different clans, their offpring will have hetochromia with an eye color from each clan. Yukoren can also reproduce with humans, but this is very taboo and is frowned upon. If either clan, male or female, has mated with a human, it must immediately be reported to the Clan elders and that Yukoren is banished from his/her clan. Depending on the gender of the half-breed, they will either have the characteristics of a male or female Yukoren. There are minor differences.

[*]All half-breeds will have sectoral heterochromia that varies based on what clan the Yukoren parent used to belong to. If they were once of the Tanoshī clan, half of the iris will be green while the other half will be whatever color the non-Yukoren parent is. If the parent was once from the Ryōshi clan, half of their iris will be yellow/gold while the other half is whatever color the non-yukoren parent is.
[*]They have the ability to not only devour human dreams, but their own clansmen as well. This causes the clansmen to become weak and eventually die despite good intentions.
[*]If any half-breeds exist, they must be brought before the elders of both clans. This is just so the elders can familiarize themselves with the half-breed so they will know if they come into their territory.
[*]Depending on what clan the Yukoren parent comes from, they may either devour pleasant dreams or nightmares. Like their parents, they may produce dreams, but unlike their parents, they can only do so on a full moon.

Each clan has a set of rules they follow, but there are some rules that they all must follow.

[*]They are to protect children and not give them nightmares
[*]They must not fight amonst themselves or the other clan.
[*]Other than giving humans nightmares (that are often the request of other humans as a form of revenge), no harm must come to them

Thankful that the Yukoren watch over them, they hold a festival during New Years and other times to honor them.
