Irrelevant title aside.. STUFF!

Recently got back from Norway after visiting for the weekend. Lots of gaming was had, Wh40k conquest, runeage and battlelore. Dah lionbutt won all of them though *grumble* though it was realllly close during our battlelore game. :3
If you've read 's journal you know that the lionbutt and me are heading to NFC at the end of the month, will be lots of fun. Though I have a bunch of stuff to prepare before then.

Nice weekend sofar, haven't been doing much but nice to relax every now and then.

Also, now that my art drive is slowly but surely returning I was wondering what you peps would like to see more of. The cute and cuddly or the naughty kinky? Or maybe something else entirely?

Been a good day today, went to the hairdresser and got some more pink in my hair and then I did some light clothes shopping. :)

Also, as you can see I have sortof started getting back my drive to draw, guess getting drunk was a great catalyst, let's just hope I don't have to keep getting drunk... Cause with how much I have to drink I couldn't afford it.. XD

still trying to actually manage to draw, tried adding some booze to the mix this time and it sorta feels like I'm on the edge of actually getting there for once. Just that little something missing for the dam to break...

New year, new possibilities.

Last year wasn't my best in some ways and great in others, lots of changes most of them for the better in hindsight.
Hoping this one will be only good or atleast without the severe drops of the last.

Still having trouble getting the drive to draw to start up again, tried everything that used to work before but no luck.
Still, there's the nagging voice in the back of my head saying I should be drawing and I really want to listen to it. But it seems like at this point I can't do anything other than wait.

So, been a little more than a month since I started taking anti depressants. So far the effects I've seen is a slight increase in energy, reduced suicidal thoughts and the, hopefully temporary, eradication of my artistic drive.

I'll be sending out refunds for everyone that signed up for my ychs since I have no idea when or if I'll finish them.

So, been kinda quiet for awhile for various reasons, chief among them being my mental health.
My doc thinks I have dysthymia, chronic depression, and sugested medication. I had a hard time deciding if I should try it or not but eventually settled on giving it a go, can't get any worse right? (lol)
So I've been prescribed an antidepressant that works by effecting dopamin and noradrenalin levels. Sideeffects include among others higher chance of suicidal thoughs and tendencies (wee!) lethargy and decreased tolerance to alcohol (jackpot!)
Starting on it tomorrow so onwards towards the unknown I guess...

So, as you might have noticed I have a YCH up, it ends on monday (gmt+1)
Which is why I'm now curious if there might be more interest in that, in which case I might set it up as a semi regularl thing, maybe 2-3 times a month.

So, what say you? Something to continue with or not?

So, two things.

Firstly, I have two drawings I'm thinking of doing but can't for the life of me decide which one I'll do first. So I figured I'd let you help me decide.
The two ideas feature and myself, the first being "breakfast babies" and the second "Bedtime babies". Whoever can give the best reason for either idea being first will get to join in on the fun.

Been having a great time sofar.
Maiden was awesome, epic music and great mood overall.
Been spending the last week and half over at nice and relaxing for the most part.
One hilarious incident occoured when lurebutt felt not so great and had some lemsip, and him being the lightweight he is he trips pacis when he's had it.
Highlight being rolling of the bed onto floor while giggling, insisting on that he was infact still in bed. Much laughter was had by all sane and none drugged up persons. :3

So, for a little background first, I went to school for graphics design. The kind for magazines and ad and similar.

The thing that annoys me to no end is seeing artists, those in the industry and otherwere, using DPI to refer to image resolution.
DPI is Dots Per Inch and it's a printer resolution, independent of image resolution.
Image resolution is measured in PPI or Pixels Per Inch.

So you saying an image is 300 DPI means nothing, since it's independant of actual image resolution. You can print a low resolution image, say 72 PPI at 1200 DPI, all that does is tell the printer how many dots to use when printing, nothing else.

The common thing to measure print quality when it comes to proffesional printing is LPI or Lines Per Inch, as a rule LPI is half PPI.
So to print an image in a newspaper, where the commonly used resolution is 85 LPI, you'd need an image resolution of 170 PPI.

Well no art in awhile now, not sure when I'll pick up the pen again.
Lots of stuff going on at the moment, some of you might now already. Plenty of changes happening with more to come. I's all for the good but when you've lived with fear for so long that its become a part of you it is hard to shake off..

Just got back from hairdresser.
Had my hair cut and dyed. Light sandy blond with light pink highlights. :3

In other news, roughly 1 and a half month left until Bråvalla, a new music festival in my hometown, last year the had Rammstein, this year they have Iron Maiden. So much awesomeness expected. If the weather stays okay, cause it's no fun wadding through mud getting soaking wet while trying to see the awesomeness.
