You can also do a search for me on Youtube which GrontalisV2 is my furry YT.
The PinBallers319 yt channel is my Video Game episodes one.
And the PinballReviewer is the main YT channel I use for my pinball machine stuff.

My Component ports on my 42" don't work. >.>
General | Posted 12 years agoAny one have any ideas why my Component ports on my 42" Vizio 3D tv do not work? All it says is no power to the RGB/Comp will shut down soon.
I am thinking that there might be a solder joint that popped off of the component port? And I am not very happy about this as it is the first time using those hook ups and they don't work.
And I know they are in the right slots too. I even tried the component cables in the older Toshiba downstairs and it worked fine.
I am trying to hook up my old Wii in my room but looks like I will have to put the Wii U back into my room if they continue to not work.
I am thinking of maybe getting into the tv an seeing if all of the solder is put on well or if there are any cold or broken solder points on the component ports.

TechFurs recommened Free Programs!
General | Posted 12 years agoThis is my first ever recommendations of programs I enjoy to use all the time.
This will be for stuff that helps with computer problems mostly but with a few programs like Paint programs and such.
As I only have Windows and Linux computers I will only do Windows and Linux OS recommendations.
For Windows:
All Piriform programs links to each program below:
CCleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner - One click clean up of your internet cache and temp files comes with the option to also Shred as it deletes said cache and temp files as it goes. The default is set for off for the shredder part. I have mine set to 7 passes.
Defragger - http://www.piriform.com/defraggler Do you hate the Windows XP and aboves defragger? Like the Windows 98 defragger look better? Well look no further then Defraggler for Windows it has a great Windows 98 look to it as you can see it working instead of guessing if it actually did diddly squat.
Recuva - http://www.piriform.com/recuva - Did a photo from your camera just go poof out of no were or accidently deleted a file from your Trash can? Don't worry with this program it searches for all deleted items on your hard drive and lets you recover said file or even delete it perminantly from your hard drive.
Speccy - http://www.piriform.com/speccy - Need to know an in depth look at your computer specs? This is the perfect program for you! It shows everything from hard drive tempurators to what computer you have and how many cores your computer has.
Paint programs:
Paint.net - http://www.getpaint.net/download.html#download This is similar to Photoshop but does have a learning curve on how to crop photos and stuff but I love it for being free and simple to use once you learn the cropping feature.
Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - http://www.malwarebytes.org/product.....warebytes_free - An anti-virus/Anti-Malware program that searches for any computer threats and takes them out!
Spybot search and destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/mirrors - Like Malwarebytes this also searches for viruses, malware and tracking cookies as well.
Well this is all the programs I use and love for now. =3
If you have suggestions for programs you would like linked up let me know by commenting, note or email me at: grontalisv2[at]furry-fangdom.com
I will check them out and if they work good and virus and malware free I'll post em up on this account. ;)

Need help with a broken hard drive.
General | Posted 14 years agoIt is a very old hard drive from the 90s so only has like maybe 10GB if that.
I want to know how to repair the silicon surface as it is scratched and it makes a horrible clacking noise too.
I think it is due to the huge scratch that covers most of the first waifer on the top disc.
Any one have any suggestions on fixing the silicon disc and is it even possible to do so?
I want to get as much data off of it as possible as it has been many years and we thought about doing the data recovery guys but that is at least $1200 for something like that.
