I know I kinda started posting my inktobers here but sort of petered out because I figured the interest wasn't high. BUT I figured I'd ask you guys instead of assuming! Do y'all want to see my Inktobers here of FA? I'd probably upload them to scraps so as not to flood the site too hard, but I made it all 31 days so there's lots of pretty neat stuff in there. Lemme know if you think I should post them here!
Or if you'd rather see them now without waiting for the decision of uploading them here, you can see them on my Instagram or my Twitter. I'm pretty active on both so if here seems kind of dead sometimes, feel free to give me a follow on either if you'd like!

Considering my last journal was in July of 2016...it's been a bit! But! I'm making this journal to say that I'm coming back! I never really fully left FA, I just sort of went inactive because life and work have kept me too busy to invest time here like I wanted to. But that's changing now.
I just got back from BLFC, and let me tell you, it's sparked my passion again and reminded me how much I love this community, and how much I miss being a part of it. So I'm making a commitment today to start making art again, and to be here regularly to talk to people and just--be involved again.
So! Look forward to lots of art and lots of fun <3

BUT. I did make a Furvilla account because those painties are adorable. And I've made one. But...what do you even actually do on Furvilla? Like aside from the painties? What is the point of the site? Is it a game? Is it a social site? I really haven't been able to figure it out since half of it's down for maintenance right now anyways...

Life! Job, Etsy, Stoofs
Posted 10 years agoHey guys! I know things have been really quiet around here lately, so I just wanted to give an update.
At the end of August I got a promotion at my work so instead of the sporadic retail schedule I had before I'm now working mon-fri in the office, quite a bit more hours than before but also better pay, so yay! I really love the new job overall. High stress (I do the scheduling for 100+ people every week), but I really, genuinely enjoy it. Not to mention it's not standing behind a counter XD
In the vein of work, it's also October, which means my Etsy shop has exploded and whatever free time isn't taken up by work is spent furiously sewing ears/tails to make all our orders before Halloween. I love the Etsy shop, but admittedly I'm looking forward to the end of October XD
SO. It's probably gonna stay a little quiet here for a week or two more, but as soon as things cool down on my shop, I've got a few commissions in my queue to work on, so expect some art! I'm super looking forward to having the time to draw again, I miss it terribly <3
And I miss you guys!! I hope everyone is doing well <333

What sort of sticker designs would you like to see from me? I've got a Hannibal design and am working on some Toothless designs, but what else should I do? Pokemon?

I have to say, I'm really glad to be leaving 2014 behind. It's been a really rough year for me and I'm looking forward to a new year and a fresh start. I know I'm not the only one, so I won't bore you guys with my problems, but suffice to say I'm going to make an effort this year to not let my day job get to me and do my best to be more productive with my art. I miss drawing! I miss making more than a couple doodles a month!
So, I'm gonna buckle down and see if I can break out of this funk and start producing again. To those of you who've stuck with me, thanks. I appreciate every single one of you, I really do.
Much love, all, and here's to a happier new year!

Freebies Closed!
Posted 11 years agoSince the entries have tapered off anyways I'm gonna go ahead and close the freebie journal for now. Thanks to everyone who entered, there were some really cool characters in there!
This went really well so I probably will do this again in the future! I wanna say thanks for that too, everyone was polite and wonderful (even those who didn't quite follow the rules XD) so thanks again for that guys, it makes me more comfortable doing this sort of thing <3

Possible Freebie? (Details Inside)
Posted 11 years agoI've been in a bit of an art rut recently, and I'm hoping to kick myself in gear by trying to draw something new.
So!
I'm thinking about doing a random freebie or two~
RULES:
First and foremost, no written descriptions. Period. I'm happy to take descriptions for commissions, but not for this.
Post a reference to a character--it doesn't have to be an actual ref sheet, but it does need to show the character well enough that I'd be able to draw them without asking questions about the details. Please include a few things that you or the character like to help inspire me/give me an idea of what that character would or wouldn't be doing. If you don't, I'll just do something random!
Also include whether or not you'd be okay with the picture being 18+ or if you'd prefer it stay sfw. I'm more than happy to respect this~ If you don't list a preference, the picture will stay sfw just in case.
An example of a good entry would be:
"This is Candy http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12386137/ She likes stockings, rainbows, and pastel goth fashion. 18+ or sfw is fine with me!"
I'll sift through them, and if something catches my fancy, I'll draw it! There may be only one, there may be more, depends on what gets posted!
If anyone complains about their character not being picked/is rude about this in any way, I'll probably never do this again, so play nice, okay guys? I've had bad experiences in the past with doing freebies and I don't want a repeat.
On that note, let me be clear. This is not a commission slot. As stated before you're welcome to put in a few key words/list likes and dislikes of the character, but you do not get to pick what I draw, how much I draw, or when I do it. This is a free grab bag sort of deal. You throw your name in the hat, and if it gets picked you get a random prize. If I like the character enough, you might get a full color picture for free! So just be polite, okay? :D
To show that you read and understand the rules, please put 'christmas treats' somewhere in your comment. If you don't, you don't get any art no matter how cool your character is!
Good luck, everyone! I'll post another journal when entries are closed~

Alive! (Sort of)

I work retail, and so that means with the holiday season I get a LOT more hours than normal and so I haven't been getting a lot of time to do much of anything online lately other than popping in to check my messages now and then. I am still here though! And I plan on trying to get some art done despite my hectic schedule.
So just updating everyone that I've not disappeared or anything, I'll just probably continue to be a bit quiet until after the holidays. Or--well since I work in the returns department, quiet until sometime in January. Like I said, I'm gonna try and squeeze in more arting, but I can't make any promises. I do hate that my last submission is almost a month old though. Gotta fix that ><
But yeah. Not dead, still here, just busy with work!
