Hey guys just an update on what's been going on and a big apology for the lack of results for the contest. They're coming, I promise! I've just had a really busy couple weeks--first my dad was in the hospital (he's okay now though!) then work got kinda crazy, then it was the 4th of July, and now it's my birthday in a couple days! Life, why you so busy??

But they are coming! I'm gonna see if I can wrangle a couple of my friends into helping me judge this weekend and hopefully will get them posted within the next week!

As of yesterday (the 15th) my coloring contest is half way over! It ends on June 30th at midnight (mountain time) so make sure you get your entries in before then!

You know what time it is? It’s time for my third annual coloring contest! This contest will run from now to Monday, June 30th, 2014! That’s one month to submit your entries folks!

I have .psd, .sai. and .png versions of the files here! Color either entry as many times as you like and at the end of the month I’ll be picking three winners for each picture!

To clarify, you can enter as many times as you like, but you can only win once!

Life is just kind of chugging along for me lately, going faster than I want it to but at the same time dragging along in the worst way. It seems like there's never enough time to get things done, and when I do have time I'm more likely to waste it lazing around rather than actually doing anything productive. I'm in a life rut, it seems. Which of course leads to art ruts, which are very annoying. Gonna work on changing that though, try to finish more things and upload them.

I'm not leaving FA, and I really don't want to discuss the recent drama, I just figured I'd put up some links for those who ARE leaving so that they can find me on other sites. I don't judge one way or another whether people want to stay or go~

What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
Initially it was sort of an arbitrary decision because I've always loved cats. But the more I thought about it, the more it fit, so I just left it as is~ I act like a cat most of the time anyways XD

Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
A little bit of both? We're both chubby, though of course her chub is a little more idealized than mine. But for the most part yeah, she's as much like me as I can manage, just a little spiffied up~

Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Yup! Though admittedly I use her to express my more sexual side in a way that I wouldn't in real life.

Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Yes indeedy~ Same favorite colors and foods and all that jazz.

Does your fursona look like you at all?
Aside from being a cat, yes~ Like I said before, she's a slightly idealized version of myself. Same hair as me even (yes, my hair is actually purple right now).

Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Yep! Both chubby ladies!

Do you have more then one main fursona?
Nope~ I thought about it for a while, particularly for making adult work involving some representation of myself. But finally I just decided that Candy is all I want and if I'm gonna draw porn of her, it's gonna be of her, not of someone like her :)

Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Nah I haven't written anything about her at all. I suppose her life is my life? I dunno lol

Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Well I am dating right now but I haven't quite gotten around to drawing him a kitty to go with mine yet so, no? Not yet? But soon? lol

If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
Nah~

Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Not really XD I mean, you don't see too many plain old housecats on here (big cats seem to be far more popular) but it's not like I'm the only black and white housecat on FA. But she is mine and I do love her design~

Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
Actually yeah, both before and after she went from a calico to black and white~

Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
No, I don't think so. I might change her design, but the basics will probably always be the same. And I don't think I'll ever change species. I love cats too much XD

If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
I started building a head last year but never finished it. It's about time I got back on that lol.

Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
I very much prefer not to. When I roleplay, it's with fictional characters, not a representation of myself. There's this sort of disconnect that is essential for me to be comfortable roleplaying, because if it's a representation of me or of my partner, then we might as well just be cybering and I'm really not comfortable with that. I roleplay for both the plot and the smut, not to get off. It's sort of how I don't get off on the adult work that I draw. I like to do it, but most of the time I do it because I find it aesthetically pleasing, not to make my own fap material lol. Not that I have anything against people who do either of those things, it's just not my cup of tea, dig?

Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?
In a way, yeah. She's a creative outlet for me~

Which means I might not make it to the meet tomorrow but I'm sure as hell gonna try!

Hopefully see all of you locals at The Flying M in Nampa tomorrow at 4! Though I work until 4:30 so I probably won't get there until closer to 5-ish. STILL.

Hey guys, sorry things have been so quiet this month!

October is the busy month for my Etsy Shop and this year was way, WAY busier than we anticipated. So I've spent the last few weeks scrambling to keep up with the sheer amount of orders we've been getting in between shifts at work and honestly haven't had much time for anything else save the stolen hour here or there playing videogames.

Since Halloween is right around the corner though, the orders are finally tapering off to a more manageable volume so I should be more active again! Those of you who bought Halloween pin-ups, I haven't forgotten you! And if anyone is interested, the Halloween sale is still going on, only $25 for your character in a pin-up in the costume of your choice!
