WOW I've been away for a while.
Posted 9 years agoSorry about that, guys. I kinda dropped off the face of the earth. But I'm back now. Can't guarantee that I'll be on daily, but I'll still be here.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Posted 9 years agoThat moment when an artist you really like suddenly picks your suggestion/fursona to draw and all you can do is-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I mean I flip out inside whenever someone draws Clover or any of my oc's anyway, but this is someone I've been on and off following for a REALLY long time.
*garbled excited noises*

"What's your sexuality?" Uuuuuuhhhhh
Posted 9 years agoOver the years I feel like my view on my sexuality has gotten very... strange?
When I was younger, I assumed my love for male fictional characters made me straight. My very first boyfriend was long-distance, and my second boyfriend was also long distance. (Oh the beauty of the internet)
There was even talk of us getting married after he got out of boot camp and all that jazz.
But then again....from the age of 14 I was messing around with my best friend at the time. This was basically between the two guys. I liked it, but I didn't? She'd get me all riled up and I'd take care of her...and then she'd roll over and tell me to take care of myself. Nice, right?
So right around the one year mark with the second boyfriend (short time to be talking about marriage, I know. But I was like, 16-17 at the time lol), I admitted to him that I thought I also liked girls.
Well, he then proceeded to flip out thinking I was going to cheat on him with another girl and therefore pushed me onto my very first actual girlfriend. (Also long distance. Noticing a trend here?)
She and I lasted about a year, and then basically just grew apart and broke up nicely. That was the one and only fully understanding and nice break up I've ever had, btw.
Fun fact, that military boyfriend came crawling back to me when he knew I was single again and begged to have me. "What can I do to make you take me back?" Nothing, dude. You already fucked up by jumping on your best gal pal the instant you were rid of me.
Since that, there were only girlfriends. I've come to the realization that the only guys I really like are all gay. They're clean, they smell good, they're femmy, and they'd let me put a strap-on up their ass. Meaning I'll never really get the chance to be with a guy because all of the guys I like are only interested in, well, other guys lol
So does this mean I'm fully a lesbian?
Also there's the fact that I've grown into quite the strange situation. I don't want a significant other. I have my roommate who I bought a house with and I want to live with them forever. They're Asexual, which is chill with me, but whenever I have a girlfriend, she can't understand why I'm as close to my roomie as I am. Or she gets super clingy and wants to drive a wedge between us.
That's a major no go with me. You do NOT fuck with my relationship with my roommate.
So at this point, I casually sleep with friends, or I have a couple of online friends I play with when the mood strikes me.
So now the real question: How the fuck to I label myself when labels just don't work?
Polyamourous? Nope. These people are still just my friends. I'm not having a full-on relationship with more than one person.
Bisexual? But I only sleep with girls.
Demisexual: Doesn't really apply very well because this is supposed to mean you sleep with very VERY few people in your lifetime.
Aromantic? I... guess? I mean I still like romantic things every now and again. They make me feel special. But...*wheeze*
Pansexual? again, I only seem to sleep with girls.
Asexual? HA you're funny. Does not apply.
Lesbian? But those very few precious gems of guys that are out there that I stare at. (I'm talking about you, guy who played Zac Effron in the Bill and Ted show <3 )
So all of the usual things I'd see everywhere don't really apply to me, and I don't want to delve into the tumblr-tastic pokemon chest of labels.
Also....on another note, just because I sleep with some friends doesn't mean I'd do it with ALL of them. I had a friend once who got pissed off that I slept with one friend and NOT her. Uhm...sorry I don't just let anyone touch my vag?? Sorry, NOT sorry. DX

But I'm excited that after work we're going back to Halloween Horror Nights!
I'm even wearing the shirt to work that I'll be wearing there. "I'm here for the Boos"
Can't wait to be back with the spookies.
In another note, my hair is currently blond right now because I'm in between dyes. I was hoping my new dye would come in the mail yesterday, but it'll probably come either today or tomorrow. Which means I'll be dying it tomorrow. It was kind of crazy how differently people reacted to me when I had a normal hair color. I didn't like it ;w;
But on the bright side, I also got my hair cut! The short length is something that I'll have to get used to, but I love the breezy feel and the fact that it isn't on my neck anymore. That was driving me insane!
However I did forget that my hair has a natural wave to it. So now whenever I wake up in the morning, I basically have anime hair. lolwhoops

Posted 9 years agoSo I was FINALLY going to get around the uploading an adoptable design I got aaaages ago onto my Toyhouse, and then I realized I apparently don't have the files for him. I'm super sad now because I don't know how to get them back. He was a cat with black and red bird-like markings. ;w;
I think it was on my desktop, which isn't hooked up right now. So I have no way of uploading him. Whoops. DX

Halloween Horror Nights! WHOO
Posted 9 years agoSo I just got home from Halloween Horror Nights Team Member Preview and boy was it fun!
Let me break it down for you guys:
The scare zones (the areas outside on the streets where the scary peoples are):
Vampire Greasers: Not quite enough greasers for my liking, but I really liked the 50's high school theme. I asked a Vampire Greaser to go to Homecoming with me and he said: "Sure, but we've gotta go steady first."
So apparently I've got a Vamp Greaser boyfriend. I can deal with that lol
Banshees: It's okay. They always have a woodland area and this year's woodland theme was bashees. The masks were pretty cool.
Freak Show: This was one of the two only places we got to see Chance, but I was kinda sad she seemed to be restricted to just sitting in a chair and spinning around. There were no other scare actors. Just mannequins On the bright side though the mannequins were REALLY well done.
Cheerleaders?: There was a random area with cheerleaders with chainsaws. Um...okay?
Ghost Ship: This was AWESOME. Bloated looking drowned sailors and a sunken ship and just YES.
Apocalypse: This area was amaaaazing. It was like a legit apocalypse and they had projections on the buildings to make them look like they were crumbling.
The haunted houses we got to go into:
American Horror Story: This one was SUPER long. Because they covered all of the seasons so far. Now I haven't really seen any of this show, but from what I can tell this house was REALLY well done. I did get squirted in the first room, which kinda sucked, but hey what can you do? They like to spray you to make you feel like you just got splattered with blood.
Krampus: This house was hilarious. My favorite area was the one with the evil gingerbread men.
Tomb of the Ancients: This is by far the best original house I think they've done. It was a pain in the ass that they had vines hanging EVERYWHERE so sometimes you were more concerned with getting them out of your face then actually seeing things, but all of the costumes were on point, and there was an animation at the end that was FANTASTIC.
Ghost Town: I literally only have one complaint about this one: THEY ACTUALLY MAKE IT RAIN ON YOU. Like you walk in and you're getting poured on with water. I don't mind now that I'm prepared for that for next time, but I was too busy flailing and whining about my hair possibly bleeding pink on everything from getting wet to notice anything in that area. Also, the water was traced EVERYWHERE and even though they put down mats to try and keep people safe, I can see that becoming a HUGE slipping hazard.
But otherwise, I LOVED the theme of this one. Not gonna lie I was flirting with some of the saloon girls as we walked through. It was awesome.
Lunatic's Playground: The complaint I have with this one wasn't with the house itself. It was with the line they made is wait in. AGAIN we got rained on, NOT FROM THE ACTUAL SKY, but because they had misters on without the fans on. So when we got to the actual house, we were DRENCHED. So basically we were soaked through all night.
The house itself was fun. This was the only other place we got to see Chance. Also this is the ONLY house that actually made me scream, if only because I was trying to keep my roomie from running into a mirror wall because we lost the guy in front of us, so I didn't see the boo-hole.
The haunted houses we didn't get to go into yet:
Halloween II
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Walking Dead
Exorcist - Note we will NOt be going into this house because on one hand it scares the shit out of me and on the other hand, they have an actual VOMIT smell in there and I can't do it ;w;
As for the shows? Eeeeh... We saw both of them and I'll talk more about them later. It's 3am and I should sleep. Got another long day ahead of me tomorrow!
Goodnight all!

SO PUMPED
Posted 9 years agoTomorrow is Halloween Horror Nights Preview Night!!
I don't work at Universal anymore, but I have friends that do. So I still get to go! I'm suuuuuper excited! I'm freshly dying my hair tonight to try and make it look it's best, I've actually PAINTED MY NAILS FOR ONCE, holy shit! They're black, of course.
I have a special outfit picked out that I actually ordered specifically for HHN. Can you tell this time of year is my favorite?
Thanks to my roomie I also have the pass that gets me in EVERY HHN night but Saturdays. Which is fine because those are the days that are the most packed. So I'd rather not.
ALSO, Tomorrow we get to see Labyrinth in theaters for their special tribute. That's going to be exciting too! Especially after we got to see NeverEnding Story last week for it's theater re-release.
We don't normally go to movies so these have been special things.

Ugh
Posted 9 years agoI'm going to dial down on the commissions.
Partially because I'm spending way too much money on them lately, but also because I keep having really bad experiences with them.
Once I get my commission from
prettypinkpony (whom I'm really liking so far), I think I might just stick to the few people I KNOW are reliable and I always have flawless transactions with.
For those of you looking for reliable people to commission, check these guys out:
stupidshepherd
loverofscythe
hektious
osato-kun
All four of them I never have any problems with. I get my pieces relatively quickly. They are beautifully done. They're always exactly what I want. So go give all of them a shout.
Also, out of the new people I've been working with:
lovepuma69 is pretty darn great
prettypinkpony has been totally awesome so far. I can't wait to see the piece I'm getting from them.

Megaplex - Days 2, 3 and aftermath
Posted 9 years agoNormally I would have written my day two actually ON day 2 or at least on the morning of day 3, but man was I messed up!
I've never gone to a room party before. Let's just start with that.
Those of you that went all probably knew about the intense party Saturday night at room 1007. If not, it's cool, you saved your liver.
I went up there at first to just get a drink to add to my already sort of boozed up state. After which I came back downstairs and went to the art jam
goldendruid and
snootskunk were throwing to enjoy some drunk doodles.
We had a bit of a fright about a friend not being able to get back to their hotel which then somehow wound up with all of us back upstairs at the room party.
My roomie
corvyn is always the designated driver since they can't actually drink alcohol, so they got to be the single sober person watching all of the crazy drunk people.
It was pretty interesting. I have NO IDEA what was in those cups. Just that it tasted fruity. So I had 3 of this mystery drink along with two shots. I'm pretty sure everything at that point had Ever Clear mixed in with it. For those that aren't familiar with Ever Clear, it's basically Moonshine. It's really intense and you have to mix it in with other things.
Needless to say, I was SMASHED. We went back downstairs and I obsessively drank water so I wouldn't have a hangover in the morning. Meanwhile I was standing there doing this permanent swaying motion. Partially because of being drunk, but partially because the world around me was spinning every time I stopped moving and if I kept swaying everything kinda sorta stood still. Needless to say, driving home on the highway was interesting. I felt like I was on a roller-coaster. All the while my roomie wasn't sure if they should laugh at me or be worried.
But the absolute trippiest part was after I went to bed. I went to sleep around 2am. I woke up around 4 am because I had to pee. (That's what happens when you drink intense amounts of water.) AND I WAS STILL DRUNK. Everything was spinning, I couldn't walk right, and my lips felt totally chapped and dehydrated. 6:30-ish am. AND I WAS STILL DRUNK.
It blows my mind that I was still drunk past 6am when I originally had those drinks at about 12-1 in the morning. So what did I do? I drank more water, and I went to sleep.
So NOW ON TO DAY 3 OF THE CON!
I felt pretty off all day. Just tired and really spacy. But overall it wasn't a bad day. We ate a shit-oad of tacos from taco-bell, I got to hang out with a bunch of friends. Really my only complaint about the con was that they canceled the panel we went to and DIDN'T TELL ANYONE. So the full room of people was sitting there waiting for a panel that never came.
But I got to run around trading soap for a bunch of really cool stuff!
Rhubarb and Cosmic Ruin everything was a great show to watch though. Those lion fursuiters totally stole the show. Especially the one playing the cow bell.
And the evening ended with us playing Cards Against Humanity in a room for a people we had just met this con. They were all totally awesome!
And now that it's over, I admittedly feel a little meh. I wouldn't go so far as to call it post-con depression, but it always sucks to have to go back to "real life" after the fun is all over with. No more fursuiters. No more fun people running around in ears and tails. No more hoping from hotel room to hotel room with new and old friends. Just home and work. bleh.
Honestly, as much as I complained about things at the con, I REALLY did have fun. At the very least with Furry cons, things always tend to balance out. If the con itself sucks, you're still surrounded by great people. If the people suck, you can escape into some really cool panels.
And here's a shout out!
I loved seeing my old friends:
kikojaharo
daggerleonelli
madhousemindworks
mlw
dieselw0lf
Meeting new friends:
lodidah (And CYN!)
And many many others whose FA names I didn't get the chance to get or just don't know. Or you know, don't remember because I was totally smashed.
I already miss you all and I can't wait to hang out with everyone again next year!

Megaplex - Day 1
Posted 9 years agoSo let me begin by saying today started out...not so great.
Remember those lovely artist alley tables last year? How they were outside of the dealer's den? How they weren't policed? How you could just set up anywhere with just a sketchbook and some colored pencils? People would buy a badge or a sketch from you, you'd earn some extra cash, you'd do the drawing, and you'd be on your merry way with lunch money or money for the dealer's den.
Not this year. This year it's INSIDE of the Dealer's den. Not only that, but they wont let artists go in to set up early. Also, people showed up with professional set-ups and pre-made merch rather than the emphasis being on "art". As in stuff that was hand drawn right there. People who I KNOW I saw as dealer's last year. >n>
On one hand, yes those dealers were smart to cash in on not having to pay the table fees, but they aren't giving the little guys a chance.
On top of putting the Artist Alley tables in the Dealer's Den (which loses possible sales from people who just want to wander the halls), and not letting them set up before they let all of the other guests in (which loses them valuable money-making time), they NOW make artists fill out TAX FORMS.
That's right. If you're doing a silly little $5 badge for someone, you now have to charge them tax. If this was a large con like Anthrocon, I could see that. But not at Megaplex.
Alright, so now that I've ranted about that, let's move on to the actual venue. IT IS SO SMALL.
They made it seem like we were getting an upgrade with this hotel. The ONLY upgrade is that we completely bought out the hotel. But this con is now impossible to get into for people who just want to roam the halls.
There are always people who can't afford or don't want to buy a pass. Or you know, the people who want to scope it out BEFORE they buy their pass. This year Megaplex has so many people checking badges that you just can't do that anymore. They check in every hallway. And by every, I mean 3. One going horizontal, two going vertical.
They ONLY have 3 panel rooms this year.
Last year we had the upstairs and the downstairs areas. Honestly even though that hotel took the roomie and I an hour to drive to, we both actually prefer the old hotel to this one.
AND NOW THE ICING ON THE CAKE.
So as my roomie sits down at what used to be the pre-reg tables to draw (and I mean JUST DRAW for THEMSELVES. Not to sell) another friend of ours comes over and warned us that someone on staff had come over and told her SHE WASN'T ALLOWED TO DRAW THERE. So okay, she then went outside, and not too long after, they went to her outside and told her SHE WASN'T ALLOWED TO DRAW THERE EITHER.
So my roomie and I are shocked. But the roomie keeps drawing their own badge just to see what happens.
SURE ENOUGH, not TEN MINUTES LATER, a member of con staff comes over and tells them they can't draw there. I asked why. He said: "Because this is the pre-reg table."
So I said: "Okay then where can my friends draw?"
And he hesitates and then says: "Not in any of the con zones. Justin Artist Alley if they are selling there."
And then he stands there and waits for us to leave.
Not in any of the con zones? So you're telling me people aren't allowed to DRAW? To be creative? Not unless they are selling???
So I immediately went over to complain to the big boss. This con is all about creativity and fun, and the fact that someone isn't allowed to just sit down and doodle for themselves is unacceptable.
And he told me: "There must have been some bad communication. Not at the pre-reg desk. That should have been roped off. And you can't sit on the floor and draw. But any of the seats are fine if you aren't selling."
None of the seats have any form of desk. Not unless you're in the lobby, and good luck getting those tiny tables. Otherwise, you go outside and hope the wind doesn't blow around your papers.
Honestly I'm still pretty pissed about that.
ON A POSITIVE NOTE:
I did get to see friends I haven't seen in a year and that did make me very happy.
The free dessert social is honestly better this year even though it was honestly pretty late in the evening and oddly organized. But it had a much wider selection.
I bought a flask and Kiku gave me spiced rum so be prepared to see me relatively boozed up tomorrow. Just FYI.
TLDR: If Megaplex doesn't get better next year, we wont be coming back. I'm hoping it's better tomorrow. Whether it's ACTUALLY better, or it's just better because I'm Blitzed.
BOOZECON 2016

HAPPY BIRTHDAY To me~
Posted 9 years agoYup! Today I turn the big 2-6!
Also today I start that new job I told everyone about. It's pretty exciting, if not a little nerve-wracking. But if anything I already seem to have made a new friend. That's exciting!
Also I now work somewhere where my hair is a-okay! It's currently purple. Even though I usually prefer my pink. ouo
Also the tattoos I'm planning to have will be alright too! I can't wait till I have enough money to get them.
Also also, my soaps are still on sale if anyone is interested in buying some.
Also also also! I want to thank everyone who was there for me while times have been rough. I appreciate everyone that sent me money and everyone that was there for me to talk to when I just felt like everything was falling apart.
Thank you all!

Interview 1 successful!
Posted 9 years agoOn the bright side, I'm great at interviews. I just have lots of good stories to tell, and thanks to Disney being my first ever job, I'm good at turning on the happy. And you know, sounding believable.
So on to round two! He said they would contact m any time from today through the next few days to do the second interview and then I'm in! I fee so relieved now. Even though I'm a little bit nervous about the second one. But I always am before hand.
It'll be a cake walk.

Send me your good vibes!
Posted 9 years agoWell bad news is, I'm still jobless.
But good news is, I've got a phone interview on Monday! So gauranteed you'll be getting some sort of update on the situation that day.
I'm pretty hopeful about getting it. Though money is still going to be tight for a while. We are running low on the greens and the time for bills to be paid is coming close at hand.
So if anyone out there has the ability to donate, I would REALLY appreciate it. Also thanks to those sweethearts out there that have already donated. I managed to work that money into enough food for the week.
https://www.paypal.me/broadwaybunny
If you can't donate, please pass this around in your own journals so that others might see it. I'd really really appreciate it, and I appreciate all of the good vibes everyone has been sending my way. Thank you all <3

I got fired today...
Posted 9 years agoAll over bullshit. This woman just wanted someone who was stupid, accept the lies she told them and work hard.
Everything she's done, even now is illegal. So I'll have to see if I can bring this all up to the federal business people but...if you could pass this around to everyone you know and see if anyone can possibly donate some money for food and rent, that would be fantastic.
As it is, I'm still paying student loans and credit card debt and if I don't find something fast I'll drown...
So if you could donate, that would be amazing. Even if it's just a little bit..
Thanks guys
https://www.paypal.me/broadwaybunny
Edit:
I've received a couple of donations so far and thank you all. I mean it. From the $20, to the $3 an the $1, every single penny helps and I want you to know just how much I appreciate that you've taken the time out of your day to help me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You are generous and I appreciate you.

So new job I thought was on the horizon--
Posted 9 years agoApparently isn't the one I'm getting. They emailed me back saying they LOVED my resume...but they already filled the position.
So on to the next one. I'll admit I'm feeling a little lost, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I'm going to keep trying.

Posted 9 years agoThat's twice on this site. Once from Wash Your paws, and NOW from
Guys, just a good business note here: If you can't keep up with commissions, don't take them.
It's as simple as that.
Don't let yourself have a que of 50 commissions and STILL take money on top of those.
Open slots. A SMALL number of slots. Take the money, finish those slots, and THEN take more.
I'm so tired of commissioning an artist and then seeing: Hey I need money for food. Who wants art?
And then the person who paid them that day gets their picture immediately while I've been waiting for two months for mine.
Also, don't make me chase after you for months for money you owe me when I ask for a refund. Especially when I KNOW you're still getting more money for other commissions.
Because I will tell you one thing, I WILL chase after you if you don't give it back. And if you decide to block me like Brokenvocaloid did?
You wind up on every single artist beware site I can find. Because I'm willing to leave you alone if I get my money back. Even if I can see you're cheating other people.
But if you STEAL from me, you're not getting away with it.
EDIT: My persistence paid off and in this case, I got my money back.

FINALLY
Posted 9 years agoSo let me start by saying being a home owner is HARD. Really hard.
My roomie and I bought a mobile home because we were tired of all of the ups and downs of apartment living. Plus I've always DREAMED of owning my own place. Who cares if it's a house or a mobile home, or even a Tinyhome. I just wanted something that was MINE.
And boy did I get it. This place isn't THAT bad. It just really needs a LOT of fixing up. I caulked half of the windows when we moved in because they leaked. Badly. I have to keep my bath tub plugged because otherwise I get little six legged visitors that I don't like.
The dishwasher doesn't work. The washer/dryer doesn't work. I'm afraid to use the oven. I have to put down little mats in the kitchen cabinets before I'm willing to use them, even though we scrubbed them multiple times.
But the fridge has been quite the epic quest. A quest that is FINALLY done. For the most part. I'm not looking forward to when I have to move the fridge to put down the new flooring. It's gonna take a LOT of cleaning and scraping.
But back to the fridge itself. The original one that was in here had a LOT of problems. It had caked-on filth, it had black mold growing in the back corner, the light didn't work, it didn't seal shut all the way, there was roach bait INSIDE of the ridge. You KNOW there's something wrong when their previous infestation went INTO the fridge. So we decided this would be the first appliance we replace, because it's going to take us a while to replace all of them. After all, cleaning it would be impossible
So we found one at Home Depot for $550 and decided we would get that one. They had a sale going on, so overall, that's all we paid for it.
Well on the 7th of this month, the day they were supposed to bring it to us...no fridge. My roomie wasted 4 1/2 hours that they could have been working waiting for this thing that never showed up.
I was PISSED. So they came to work and when we finished (since we work in shops next to each other), we went to home depot and complained. So they gave us $50 back in cash, which made the fridge $500, and we rescheduled it for Saturday. As in the 25th. Two and a half weeks later. Keep in mind we can't put any food in the old fridge because of how gross it is. So for two and a half weeks we've been living on take out an canned food.
The 25th comes and GUESS WHAT...no fridge. This time because they said a piece is missing. What piece? It was literally just the fridge! We didn't order the ice maker. So then they try to reschedule for the 29th. Which I can't do. I have work.
So I just say screw it, go to home depot, get my refund, and then go straight to Lowes. Lowes is SO much better than Home depot. First off, they have the appliances THERE in store, and THEY are the ones who bring it to you. They don't depend on a third party. So they schedule it for the 27th, yesterday.
I'm finally relieved. We were going to get a fridge. We could get food. I would get to relax about ONE thing in the house. But no.
They show up and they didn't bring a cap for the hose that connected the OLD fridge to the damn ice maker. So they leave us the new fridge AND the old fridge, and tell my roomie to go and get a cap to cap off the hose. And then they wouldn't have come till FRIDAY to get the damn old fridge.
My nerves were totally shot yesterday. Between all of the stuff going on at work, that, and then being texted on the way home because the water went everywhere and being pulled back and fourth I was just at my wits end. Even though it seems like a simple thing.
So this morning I called Lowes, and I complained about how my roomie was treated when the delivery guys got pissy with them. And about how dire our need for the new fridge to be plugged in was. They took care of it. About half an hour ago the guys showed up, went to cap off the hose.....and realized neither of their caps worked. But SOMETHING was smiling down on us today. Because the cap my roomie got WORKED for capping the damn thing off under the sink.
The old fridge is gone. The new fridge is here. I have one less thing to worry about now. I know our food is safe. I can now go grocery shopping with the last of our food stamps, and I can breathe easy about what I put in my mouth.
What a wild ride all of this has become.

New job on the horrizon
Posted 9 years agoAnother update! Yay!
So I've applied for Disney, Lowes hotels, The Orlando Eye and even Seaworld.
I haven't heard back from ANY of them.
But today I got a sudden text from someone I used to work at Universal with. Basically he was plopping a brand new job in my lap. I'll have to wait a month for it and I still have to do the interview project, but the fact that he is passing my name along means I have even more likelyhood of getting it.
And let's face it, when I actually GET an interview, I nail it.
I've been obsessively burning this new job candle since the day I got it, and it's payed off. I've been begging and praying the Universe to help me and boy did it deliver!
I really want this job after everything my friend told me about it. And what's even better is I might be able to get my roomie into it too. I really hope so.
Hello easy customer service job!
A job where I can wear whatever I want, have whatever color hair I want have tattoos if I want them, and get great benefits and good pay!
I really hope this works out.

Of updates, spells and candles
Posted 9 years agoSo as some of you know, I was worried about being fired before.
Good news is, I wasn't. Bad news is, I was still chewed out. And I still need to find another job and leave.
This woman called me Catty for calling people out on being passive-aggressive with me. She told me I was a child because I still like cartoons. She constantly pushes me to try and wear more make up even though honestly I don't really like wearing it. I only will on special occasions. She wants me to entirely change who I am, and you know what?
I'm not going to stand for that.
She took away my promotion because she was actually afraid of the fact that I could do it all on my own and honestly didn't really need her. She took away the salary she promised me that would have cleared out ALL of my debt in about 2-3 months. Something I REALLY needed. She makes me work harder than anyone else there while the guys can just stand there and look pretty, and she tells me how easy my job is and that I should appreciate it because I'll never find something that good again.
I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week. That's full-time with NO BENEFITS and NO BREAKS. I get in trouble for going to the bathroom too many times or needing FOOD because guess what, I have a high metabolism. I'm not like her where she can take a couple of bites of food and be full for hours. (She wastes SO MUCH food that way too, because she refuses to eat left overs.)
So today at the Summer Solstice Fairy Festival I asked someone for help. She dressed me a candle and told me how to use it to try and manifest a new job for myself.
The last candle I used to try and get my boss to accept me and actually see what good I was doing REFUSED to burn. That should tell you something right there.
But this candle?
When I asked the Universe to help me manifest a new job, it burned so intensely that the top of the glass POPPED right off! It was kind of amazing. It's still burning even now.

Help...
Posted 9 years agoI'm losing my job. I can feel it. She took away everything she promised me.
We just got a new home and now I'm terrified I'm going to lose everything.
I don't know what to do.
It's time to put in new job applications but I'll be super short on money until I get one.
And the lot rent for our home is coming up. How do I get the money???

Pulse here in Orlando
Posted 9 years agoFINALLY I get internet back. So now I can make this post.
What happened on Sunday was mind blowing, sad and kind of an eye opener for me.
Literally two days before on Friday night I had a creepy guy try to follow the roomie and I home because he was thirsty as fuck and was mad when I said no to his advances. We wound up having to call the cops because I was legitimately afraid he was going to follow us home and kill us.
Then Saturday Night/Sunday morning which was the first night we spent in our new house, the Shooting at Pulse happened. We live six miles away. So close that my roomie heard the ramraid from their room. I woke up that morning to people being concerned and wanting to see if I was okay.
MANY of my old coworkers from Universal were there. At this point I don't even know how many we might have lost because we were all on a first name basis there. So it's going to be an interesting an very sad week.
I'll be at the candlelight Vigil with my old Universal Crew on Sunday.
Now I know my worries about Friday were legit. There are SO many crazy people here in Florida. A lot of the time I sit and wonder what even brought me back here. I did two Disney college programs and was drawn to Florida because of that. I didn't realize that the state outside of Disney was so deranged and convoluted.
Also this was a bit of an eye opener for me at work, when my boss threw how many people she lost in my face. I can understand being angry and upset but that kind of behavior is just...no. Things have been a bit strange for a while anyway but now I'm wondering where I should go from here.
