Help from San Diegans?
Posted 12 years agoHey all! I'm looking for some help from my San Diego Ladies (or men I suppose). I haven't gotten a hair cut in 5 years. I've realized how unhealthy and unhappy my hair is. I seriously need a cut and style. But I have no idea where to go. I used to go to my Mom's stylist when I lived with her. But now I live 2+ hrs away so that isn't a possibility. Soo.. Does anyone know a good salon and or stylist in San Diego? Preferably the Linda Vista / Clairemont area. But really I'm willing to hear about anywhere in San Diego.

Posted 14 years agoMichael and I have returned to Second Life! We were curious how much has progressed on SL since we were last on and while exploring have become addicted again. We bought knew Layla bunny and Mykael Mutts! If you play Second Life or have occasionally you should totally come chill with us at our new Crimson-Star HQ. I don't want to constantly fill up peoples journal box with vlog journals and bother those who don't care. Slight Fur Now Btch Fest
Posted 14 years agoI rarely do journals on here and even rarer do i rant. But here is a true 100% Lisa is annoyed Bitch fest that's been pent up for several months. Almost 6-7 months I believe. So.. I'm sorry for the bitch fest but I had to vent. Don't read if you don't want. The quote below was a comment I made today to someone on FA. Figured I would share it with the world. Yes it's a tad... snippy but like i said, pent up aggression left over from the little kids who attended and bitched and got angry at Michael for canceling.. Of course this does not apply to those rare and few cool ones who would.. donate frequently and would often bring food. You lot are awesome and you kept it going as long as it did!
"Michael and I had to pay more then $500 for 1 meet. You have to buy a permit to have more then .. 50 people i believe.. .. and we generally had 70-100 appear at random. That is a substantial amount of money to do on a monthly basis. We received $27 in donations.. We are not rich.. That is why we canceled. No supposedly about it. Unless EVERYONE wanted to pay like.. $10-20 a month..as well as bring food for the potluck (not going to happen) we wouldn't be able to host it. Plus legally with the numbers that showed up we would need to buy health coverage. If someone had hurt themselves during the event it would have been on us. So yes, fur now ended on financial reasons. Sorry if it was an inconvenience on anyone but we are not rich. And not NEAR enough people donated. We had like 2-3 people donate $5-10 and the rest $1-2. $27 in donations doesn't cover $500 in legality. "
Michael worked hard for fur now.. for a long time in the beginning and when he was head chef. We'd drive to his parents house Saturday to get the equipment. Sunday morning woke up around. 6-7 am. Got donuts for those arriving early any food we hadn't gotten prior and then went down there so we could be there for the early birds. Then we would stay all day and often went to dinner after with a bunch of people. The we would return the equipment Monday morning eating up his pto.. We would spend our whole weekends on this thing!! From the beginning of our time with fa we would spend $200 on food for everyone! And some people had the gull to complain on how infrequently he cooked!! HE ISN'T YOUR SLAVE OR EMPLOYEE!! He is doing this for free on his personal time for fun and so others can enjoy themselves. He often posted on the forums the cooking schedule. First earlier like 11.. Second around 1 and Third around 2-3.. Plus there was some snack food to eat between!! And NO ONE helped us put up our equipment or take it down except for a rare few. People RARELY donated and for the longest time no one would really bring food. Luckily that improved over time! Another expense was also the cost for the meetup.com page! Michael discussed the options with the crew of fur now and Balto and thought it through very seriously. This was a light decision to him. But everyone, including Balto, told him that there was no way we'd get enough money from everyone and that it was not worth the stress, drama, and money. So with a sad heart he canceled. phew.. ok that is my rant.. I've been holding it in since he canceled fur now.. But it's been over long enough that I can voice myself to those who bitched!

Posted 14 years agoVERY few shows/movies can make me cry. I actually can't recollect any who have made me cry. But Watching Doomsday the goodbye between David Tennants doctor and rose actually had crying and sniffling. I love Doctor Who. It's such an amazing show!!!! that is all lol

Posted 14 years agoHello all! So as the title might suggest Michael and I have some rather exciting news to share. I was biting my tongue until I gave my boss 2 weeks notice .. But now that I have officially done that. I'm excited to announce and I will be moving to Linda Vista. We currently live in El Cajon. Michael works in La Jolla. He drives about 46 miles round trip. And it usually wastes a lot of his time... and our money on gas. So because an opportunity came around to move we have decided to pack up and move closer to his work... The new location will be 14 miles round trip. We signed the lease and got our keys on tuesday. We are still currently packing our belongings. But we are excited for this fresh start!!! This will be OUR newlywed home kinda. Michael lived 10 years in our condo prior to my arrival so, although this place felt like home, it also was heavily influenced on his decorating. Such as the millions of instruments and weapons hanging on the wall hehe. Our current condo is about 900something sqf but its a 1 bed 1 bath. It's such a open floor plan that the there is a lot of wasted space. Not to mention all of the clutter we have accumulated in the 10 years michael has lived here, all of the stuff I brought from my moms place, and the 3-4 years worth of stuff we've gotten since. We are being VERY picky on what we take with us. Our new location is.. 800something cant remember off the top of my head. But it is a 2 bed 2 bath and feels rather nicely sized! Today I will be spending my day trying to get internets installed there. And unpacking lots and lots of plates, glasses, etc that Michael and I bought during the last Ross employee double discount day. I'm actually very excited to spend the day in the new location and spend my time unpacking some of our stuff. Ohh just remembered I ought to bring garbage bags for all of the boxes and bags. Anyways long story is long. But I wanted to share this with our friends on here and wanted to clear the air and let everyone know... XD Lots O Love to the pack. Hugs to my friends.... And noms for my belly cuz im hungry.

But after thinking about it, I have decided it might be a good idea to get me out of my shell. That and to be honost I highly doubt i'm going to get many questions. So I'm going to open myself up to any and all questions and force myself to answer ALL questions truthfully.. or at least to the best of my knowledge lol. soo.. yah here we go!

Posted 15 years agoOK sooo.... At and my place, the Living Room couch, tv and our computers are right next to the door. So I can usually hear people come up the stairs to My and our neighbors door. We are the only 2 condos who use those stairs. And I can always hear our door knob being grabbed when someones going to open it if I'm in the living room. So.. i just heard the distinctive sound of someones hand on our front door knob, at first i jumped up a lil thinking. OH michaels home! Then quickly realized no he and Justin are still at work and he would have im'd me when he was leaving. Then i heard a kinda light knock on the door. i jumped freaked a lil cuz, HELLO you tried the knob then knocked? Looked around for my cell but couldnt remember where i left it. So I decided to look through the peephole, and there was no one there. I triple checked the locks. Deadbolt and regular lock are secure. I didn't open the door.. cuz I'm not a moron. I found my phone, Hugged it, told Myk in IM about my startling experience then started playing music so someone would know there was someone here and wouldn't like try to rob me or something. lol my hearts pounding. it was probably some dumb fuck meaning for the next door neighbor. They always have people at all hours pounding on their door and yelling for them. But I didn't hear their door being knocked after. i didnt hear ANYTHING after that. not even the stairs. So I'm freaked out. I'm sure it was probably nothing but this all happend almost 10 at night.. WHO THE FUCK TRIES THE KNOB FIRST??? .. BAH! I'ma be twitchy till myk gets home. And my cell isn't leaving my fucking side rofl

Posted 15 years agoHas anyone here been payed a compliment and thought... Was that for real or just being polite? I was chatting with a coworker. She was scanning bar codes to put things on clearance and I was hanging clothes in the fitting room. Anyways we had been talking about diets a lot lately because her and a few other employees as well as the store manager had noticed that I was drinking the target brand equivalent of slim fast shakes for break/breakfast. We were chatting about some cute clothes hanging up and she commented on a size 12 dress and I laughed and said it was to small for me. I explained that I was a xl-1x and about a size 18-18 womens world. And she stared at me for a second and said something along the lines of NO YOUR NOT!! and I laughed and said something about that being why I'm on the diet shakes and the diet microwave lunch & dinners. She stared at me again and said that I seriously did not look my weight. I smiled and thanked her and Explained that I generally try to wear clothes that will hide it some. But I luckily carry it in a way that doesn't look all that bad. That made me happy and I was feeling pretty good when in after thought I was wondering.. Did she really feel that I looked smaller then I am. Or was she to polite to call me a fat ass ;P lol. Either way I appreciate her kindness and It's a wonderful gesture. But still Sometimes when I'm given a compliment I wonder... Are you being polite or do you actually feel that way? LOL I think its a side effect lingering from when I used to have a low self esteem. So I'm curious do other people wonder that to? Or am i being stupid and I should just take the damn compliment at face value and believe that he/she thinks that this or that is attractive.. or whatever. you know what i mean lol. Anywhos....
