General | Posted 10 years agoFelt it would be easier just to put the info about my species, the Pluva, in a journal instead of on my page.
The word "Pluva" is short for "Pluventium" which is a combination of the Latin words for "wind" and "feather." The Pluva are an ancient species that are said to have been created by the Gods to be the protectors of the skies. They believe themselves to be the species that bridges the physical world where all species lie, and the realm of
their creators. The Pluva were also messengers of the Gods, in a similar vein to Angels. However, the Pluva were not by any means delicate, they were strong, and powerful warriors. In more recent times, however the Pluva have a series of nomadic tribes, who have adopted a more modern outlook and are more willing to adopt modern ways. Despite their willingness to adapt to a changing world, the Pluva maintain traditions, which are among the most important things to the Pluva. When the a Pluva reaches the age of 16, that Pluva leaves her tribe and sets off on a pilgrimage to explore the world and experience other cultures. Upon reaching 18 the Pluva finds a new tribe to join and upon settling in finds a job within that tribe that they are the best at. As a whole, the Pluva are a very proud species and hold themselves in very high regards, with the most respected members of the tribe being the Shamans - The tribe's Elders and Council.
The most prominent features of the Pluva are their feathered hips, horns, and wings. Feathers can appear anywhere on their body, but those are most common there. They can be any color and the symbols on their body represents which tribe they had came from and which one they are apart of now. Their muzzles look like that of the wallaby or the kangaroo, as do their tails. Females tend to have larger horns than the males and also have a pouch.
