I love the new cast, the animation is pretty good in some places (though lacking in others), still warming up to the character designs, and I have a feeling the writing is only going to improve over time.

It's kind of embarrassing and hilarious that furries are all up in a huff because the character designs no longer make the turtle boys look ostensibly fuckable.

So, I've played through two of the Morenatsu storylines. My first was Tatsuki, of course, then the shota option, Shun. (BTW, am I the only one who thinks The Shota Option would make a great band name...?) I'm probably going to do Kounosuke next and save Kouya for last. I'm sort of sad Juuichi's story isn't finished, as he would be the next on my list for sure!

You know, I'm getting awfully sick of hearing straight furries bitch about how gay furries treat them. Not that this hasn't been an issue, with many gay furries demanding heterosexually oriented artists draw more male on male, putting pressure on straight males to been more sexually inviting to gay males, and emphasis (quickly shrinking, by the way) on homosexual art that's been prevalent since the fandom got big.

However, the way in which I'm seeing a lot of straight furs deal with this is throwing the word "Faggots", "Queers" and other derogatory words around, with inflammatory statements that honestly don't help civil discourse at all. I'm not saying that you need to just suck it up and deal with it, far from it. But don't be a hateful, spiteful asshole just because a couple of gay guys got all indignant on you.

Stop trying to scream your "straightness" from the rooftops. Guess what? You may, MAY be a minority in this fandom, but gays? We're a fucking minority EVERYWHERE ELSE. I raise my eyebrow in concern when I hear "gay pride" because that shit is already beginning to lose it's purpose. "Straight pride"? Never had a purpose to begin with. It's like being proud of breathing oxygen; it was never a big deal in the first place.

Also, gay white knights trying to support straight people in the fandom? Stop calling effeminate, flashy gay guys "faggots". One, you're being judgmental assholes. Two, you're stealing from the Chris Rock joke about "Niggers". Three, it doesn't make you look more intelligent, it makes you look smarmy and superior. That kind of shit needs to be cut out.

Lastly, gay furries who are hounding straight artists, harassing straight peeps are cons and parties, and all of you who think that heterosexuality has no place in the fandom? Knock it off. Just because they don't find you sexually attractive doesn't mean they can't be your friends, doesn't mean they hate you or judge you because you're gay. Heterophobia is one of the absolute most ironic cases of bigotry I've ever seen and it needs to fuckin' stop.

I'm unfollowing any and every artist who censors their work. It's not clever, it's not funny, and if you get off on it upsetting people, fine. But I'm not going to watch an artist with ugly art. And censored art is ugly art.

What I DON'T mind is artists who censor their work, then make it readily available for people to BUY uncensored. While it does frustrate me a little, at least that work is available to people without it being maimed.
