Lately posting on pixiv has become a drag. I work hard on my arts, and the arts barely gets any engagement. I gained more followers but they don't engage with anything. Everytime i put out quality art it still doesn't gain much engagement. And recently i posted some arts there i genuinely wanted to share there, but my audience been avoiding the arts. Every since i shared my art of cheetah ridusk and my newest cheetah oc my views dropped. so like i'm just feeling pretty bad. I might just start posting to tumblr or deviantart only.

so i've decided to go back to this account
i have posted most of arts here and do not feel like reposting most of them again.
Also i have some art out there that links to this account, and i want to be able to just keep this place up for others who enjoy my work to come back to. This is the only place where i can freely post some tasteful artz here atm so i might stick around.

So I noticed I get more faves than watchers here, and that annoys me so much. I work hard on my works, I do appreciate the engagement. But the lack of watches or faves on art I work on even fanart gets hardly anything here. People seem to only care about only certain artwork I post here. So yeah I'm gonna just limit myself from posting here, might take some work down as well. I might post art sometimes but that depends on my mood. I appreciate the people who at least take the time to check out my gallery, and leave a watch thank you.

Might Take a break here as I feel a certain way about posting here. I been liking the outcome i've been recieving on deviantart lately tbh. Sharing my art there feels like my work is getting seen more than here. I feel rather tired here when i try posting, same for pixiv. You work hard only to be ignored, and feel discourage doesn't matter what i make at times. So I'd rather stick with deviantart at the moment. Might share a few artworks here but not on the daily. I'm considering moving to devianart.

Been a few weeks since I've deleted my twitter. I am not going back no time soon.
The art community there was horrible. it's complicated trying to grow a account and networking there.
Being a artist on twitter is not easy, and it's not a benefit either. Only positive was getting my work seen by more people other than that it was horrible being there. I had a better time on instagram than twitter crazy, i even grew a friend group there as well.

But anyways despite me working hard on my work no one cared. I was treated like a outsider by other artists. I tried to promote myself but freaking bots kept engaging with my content. I did not grow a following since i've started a new account last year. The last time I was on there i tried promoting my work but instead got bots liking my posts. I just deactivated my account a few weeks ago.

So I've noticed there's these people who only ask for requests from me. And there's a rare occasion this one user has been leaving comments on my posts asking for requests. What bothers me more is these people aren't supportive they don't engage with anything I put out.

There was a time I opened the commissions option on my account on pixiv. No one was interested. After I closed them I had someone in my dms asking for a request with a long description. It just made me feel discouraged. All I ask for is support.

I don't take requests because it makes me feel like I'm being used. I don't wanna draw anything for free.

So I got situated, and got things working again. Yes finally I feel so relieved.

Today I broke my current phone. But all is not lost. I got all my passwords saved on my pc.
But my emails, I'm gonna have to get into that soon. My sd card had my stuff on them! Which helped me out even more. So i didnt lose most of the stuff on my old phone.

The camera on my old phone sucks though. So I am gonna buy me a newer phone soon. And this one is temporary.

Ever since I've moved from my old account and into a new one things has been harder.
My old account was like 5 years old. I had over 200 followers. My work has improved.
But I've noticed random people kept following me to get a quick follow, random users liking my work to get attention.
People who just expect someone to follow them just because. I noticed as I posted no one engages either. The reason I've decided to move to a new account because my old account was kinda dying, no one was engaging, keep in mind i had over 200 followers. I was even featured in rankings. I had gained false followers who didnt give a crap about me or my work.

I started over last year on my new account. It was so difficult and hard to grow on the platform. Here I am thinking my old followers who come back to me. Nope all they did was like my posts and moved on. I posted new works gained a lot of bookmarks and some likes. Gained a few new followers over the time, and some old ones. Reposted most of my old art. I noticed no one actually cares about my high quality art, unless it's mature fanart. No one cares about my oc stuff as well not as much. I almost got banned for posted so much of my work. I was ready to quit on Pixiv because it was so hard to grow.

Despite all that stress and work. I constantly made art, and posted. While the process was slow and took days for my art to be noticed I managed to grow a new account over 100 followers in months. Which I am grateful about. But I realized after going through this difficult situation is I'm my own biggest supporter. No one cares about my work as much as I do. And I'm gonna draw what I want. Also what I realized is no matter how high the amount of bookmarks I get on my art post hardly anyone likes my art pieces on Pixiv. I have more bookmarks on my posts than likes. My followers aren't engaging with my posts most of the time. Which is why I scramble, use different tags, and just try to reach out to other fandoms.
I'm just having a hard time getting my art seen on pixiv. But i'm not gonna give up at all.
