when I was a lil creature (so like, 11) I really wanted to draw my inuyasha ocs. (inuyasha, the beginning of it all)

a friend of mine drew one for me by going off description and I was so fascinated that she was so damn good, so I went and started up myself! like if she could do that, so could I. I really wanted to just take my characters and put them onto paper, and frankly I've accomplished that in a way I'm satisfied with these days

it makes sense this has been my goal for ages because I don't do backgrounds at all I just put a guy on a white void LOL

EY long time no talk

it's been a While! I'm doing okay these days- not great, not perfect, but okay. better, I like to think, than I used to be. and I'm taking more and more steps every day to some kind of normal that looks healthier, yknow?? shit is a process

but while I'm kind of stable, I've been trying to do more art, and different mediums. trying is the key word, I have managed only a little LOL but I have been drawing! also been trying to do clay figures, and trying out blender, and timidly dipping my toe into rpgmaker and jumping back like it burned me, and even trying to sew plushies, and writing up a storm

I'm still fond of furaffinity. last bastion of my social media platforms that has stuck to it's guns and just does what it does best. furries, nsfw, nasty shit everywhere, I'm so glad LOL

so that said, would anyone want to see art? I've kept mine to myself for quite a while, and honestly? it's been pretty chill just doing stuff for me. ironically though, I also miss doing comms occasionally- I definitely don't want to survive on them, but I got to do things I sometimes wouldn't do for myself. the challenge was always refreshing. I can sometimes be a bit directionless on my own, so it really can boost me to try new things

and I feel like lately I've polished my style into something I'm happy with. like if I did this forever, that'd be Okay. but I do want to improve, and that means more drawing and ideally getting feedback.

would you guys wanna see art here again? I'll probably be mostly quiet aside from posting occasionally, as I still have some weirdness surrounding social media and talking to people

but I realized a bit recently that, whenever an artist I liked disappeared online, even if their reasons were super fucking valid- I missed them :") I missed seeing their creations. we never had to talk, I just quietly admired it and it shaped me. and when it was gone I felt like the world was a little less colorful. so I don't want to do that to others really
