New Watchers! (And Old!)
General | Posted 11 years agoI'd like to thank everybody for your new and continued support even with the group not as active as I'd like to make it. We're even almost at 500 watchers! Maybe I'll do a tentacle raffle! In the meantime, I've got a lot of art projects and stuff I need to do, so the going is a bit slow until I'm caught up and I apologize.
ANYWAY, GOT OFF TRACK. THANK YOU ALL I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WEIRDOS (as does the tentacle <3)

General | Posted 11 years agoOkay so. I regretfully have let this group just...sort of die, and I'm immensely sorry for that.
So, I'm going to maybe see if I can't hand the reigns over to someone else. Not sure how I'm gonna do this yet!
I suppose, if you're interested, shoot me a note and we can talk!
I'm looking for someone that would at least log in weekly, post any art that has been requested to be posted, fave tentacle pics you can find, maybe come up with little 'events' like contests or raffles or what-have-you, you know, normal group stuff!
To those waiting on contest prizes - those are still happening, I promise! I'm sure it doesn't feel like it at this point, but I'm getting myself through my queue slowly but surely, and I apologize for the wait.

Seems I've been doing a lot more apologizing than anything else on this account and I'm sorry for that haha
Glad to see people still coming here and I'd like to give them more reason!
Gonna be finishing up the prizes I still owe from the mascot contest, then I'll be doing a RAFFLE FOR FREE ART WITH THE TENTASTIC MASCOT!

General | Posted 11 years agoToday is Tentastic's 1 year anniversary!!!
That's exciting! It doesn't feel like it's been a year at all. It's been such a great experience and I'm so glad to have gone through with making the group. It's shown me how many people appreciate the same things I do. I haven't been near as active as I'd like to be.

Mod update!
General | Posted 11 years agoSo, my husband has said that he would like to help me moderate the group and as he already has a group he moderates and he actually keeps up with it, I will probably be doing a sort of trial run thing with that and see how it goes. It'll make it easier on me so I don't have to go through a bunch of application stuff and if it doesn't work out or he decides he doesn't want to do it, I'll rethink the apps. We'll be talking it over tonight and I'll probably update once more with official details.

It's so great to see how many people enjoy the same things I do.
I would also like to apologize for my lack of moderating recently.
I was trying to avoid it because I'm a picky butt and skeptical and all that
But I may need to try to bring on a second moderator to the group.
I might come up with some sort of application and ground rules and all that
I will remain the owner of the group,
but it seems it was a little too big a bite for me to chew
Hoping once I get a house and move (should be happening soon hopefully)
Things will calm down as I'll have more of a workspace
Not to mention it won't be too much longer before the little one is in school
So I'll have more time for not-so-kid-friendly things ;3
To thank everyone for their patience and continued support, I will be holding a raffle soon
So look out for that journal! Still making decisions for it.
