I have a Bluesky now!
Posted 6 months agoThe title pretty much says it all. FA is still my primary art dumping grounds, but my Bluesky may also include random ramblings from me, as well as personal updates that probably don't warrant a journal post.
This is all assuming that my social anxiety demons don't constantly keep me in a chokehold.
Anyways, you can find my Bluesky here: BLUESKY!!!

Update, updates and more updates...
Posted 2 years agoWhat a crazy few years it's been. Been a while since I've written one of these! Since I set up my Twitter, I've been... relatively active there. I still post all of my art here, as my Twitter (I'm still gonna call it that) is still very SFW. I've considered making an NSFW one, but, I just don't feel like I make enough content for that yet. Maybe some day? I definitely wish I had more time to do art. One of these days I'll get out of customer service...
Speaking of places where I post my content, I just made an Itaku today! I'll still be posting all of my art here, but, I think it's about time I tried to spread out to other sites as well. You can find me there with this link:
ITAKU!!!
ALSO, I am almost ready to open up my commissions to the public. Up until now I've only relied on friends and friends of friends, but, I need to take the next step or I'm never gonna get off the ground. So keep your eyes peeled for that? I've already set up pricing information here in the commissions tab and put up a ToS, I'm just figuring out how many slots I should open. I don't want to make people wait forever to get their art, but I also gotta remember that it's okay to make people wait a -little- bit. Especially if I'm gonna be doing more than one commission at a time. It'll all depend on how much time I can dedicate to drawing, since I do work a full-time customer service job (that I've been trying to get out of).
Lastly, for anyone who might not want to pay for art but still wants to support me financially, I also set up a Ko-fi!
KO-FI!!!
Now, by no means are tips/donations needed or required, but anyone that does choose to send them has my deepest gratitude. Of course, you can support me in other ways simply by following, liking my art, and sharing it with your friends. I'm just happy that there's at least somebody out there who likes what I do. My head can end up in a lot of dark places, but at the end of the day it's appreciation from my friends and supporters that helps me keep moving forward. Thank you all so much! <3

That crazy time of year...
Posted 4 years agoI definitely have a bad habit of saying that I'm going to post more, and then I get super busy with non art-related things. The last few months have been chock-full of activities for me: Multiple birthdays including my own, a cross-country road trip, jury duty, my husband changing jobs twice... It just goes to show that the summer months are always going to be that crazy time of year for me. But I'm putting my foot down! Even if I don't post much, I should be at least posting drawings once in a while when I find the time for them, starting now. I never stopped drawing, I just... stopped posting. So every once in a while I'm going to be sure to upload something, even if it's just a sketch for the scrap yard!
Oh, and with my husband's help I plan on taking on an art challenge he's made up for me next month, so I hope you all look forward to that! It may be more superhero and less furry related, but that doesn't mean it can't be both... ;P
For anybody who stuck around to read this, thank you from the bottom of my heart! I don't need a big fan base, but if my bits of art can be used to inspire others then that's enough to make me happy. <3

I got a Twitter and Instagram!
Posted 5 years agoSeeing as I haven't had much to post lately, I decided that a good way to get things rolling again is to get more active on social media! I still plan on posting most of my furry art here, but feel free to follow me on Twitter or Instagram for more sketches, previews, or general musings from me! Of course, I'm probably going to keep both of those pretty SFW, so the occasional naughty bits that come out of me will be exclusively for FA here.

Brushing off some cobwebs... oh hey!
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, it sure has been a while hasn't it?
I'm sorry for not keeping anyone in the loop, but let's just say that life really has a way of taking you through turns you never really expected. I've been pretty busy just staying afloat and unfortunately that meant sacrificing time. But I'm glad to say that the storm is calming and I'm fired up to get back to drawing again!
I know it's been a while, so I'll be putting up a piece that I just finished later today. When I'm better settled and have more time, I'm thinking of opening my commissions. Fingers crossed that it'll be in the next month or two!
Big thanks to everyone still following me and to those that followed even while I had no content to put up. It means a lot more to be able to come back to something. ^_^

Thanks for the birthday wishes and watches!
Posted 9 years agoFor those who don't know: yesterday was my birthday, and I turned 21! Unfortunately, I was sick on my birthday (again). Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday, though! I was really surprised and it warmed my heart. :)
Also, thank you for all of the new watches lately. I may be a bit slow with drawing, especially since I haven't been home much for the last couple of weeks because of conventions. But it means a lot that you guys like my pieces enough to follow, and I hope that I'll get to keep producing content that you enjoy!

Exciting news! Or just... news.
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! Long time no see, sorry about that.
I've got to be honest, ever since I started working at McDonald's I've had this weight on my shoulders that made normal tasks feel so much heavier on me. Even drawing felt like a burden, so I did very little of it and haven't finished any projects since my latest little drawing of Etto.
However, I've started feeling better these last few days, and have since gotten back into drawing again. Not only that, but as some of you may already know, I'll be attending Megacon this weekend! Actually, I fly out for Florida on Thursday and will be attending the con Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully this vacation will be just what I need to get my fire going again. :)
In other news, today I jumped on the wagon and created an account on Furry Network, which can be found here:
https://beta.furrynetwork.com/teoleif/
For the time being I do still plan on uploading my works to FA, as well as FN, this is more of a security measure for me, and a "just in case" things go south. I'm still on the fence about FA, so I'm giving it some more time before I decide whether or not to leave.
For those of you still sticking around to see my work, thank you so much, and I hope to get more pieces out for you in the near future! <3

Current state of things (and a surprise?)
Posted 9 years agoHiya everyone! I feel like whenever I write these I'm apologizing, but I do really feel bad for how slow I get content out for you guys.
Anyway, things at McDonald's have been going well. For a first job it's pretty easy and at least pays well enough to cover student loans. However, I've been extremely exhausted from the big shift in my sleeping schedule, hence why I didn't get a drawing out this week. There's still a few projects I have in the works, I just need more time, which is something I've been surprisingly short on.
One reason I've been short on time, though, is... well, my diploma came in a couple days ago! But not only that... it turns out that I'm the valedictorian of my graduating class. Oddly enough I wasn't too thrilled to hear this. My parents, on the other hand, were extremely excited and have insisted on trying to find ways to celebrate it with me, which I don't mind and have really enjoyed spending time with them.
Which reminds me, I still have to get those models re-rendered and uploaded on here! I'm still planning on doing that, it's just a matter of figuring out how I want to do it. And soon, hopefully.
As always, thank you so much for your support, and I can't wait till my body adjusts to this new schedule so I can get back into the swing of things. :)

Hey, I got a job!
Posted 9 years agoYup, that's right. This last week or two has been pretty tough for my family... not to share any details, but we're definitely living paycheck to paycheck now, and I haven't been working through commissions fast enough with this sporadic schedule of mine.
So!
I've recently picked up a little job (with the help of my mother) that should bring in more of a steady income. What does this mean for you guys? Well, it means commissions will still be slow for at least another week or two, but as soon as I get more of a routine back in my life I should be back on the commission track around mid-April. Sooner would be better, but I'm trying to be realistic. I would rather work on commissions that are lined up instead of personal projects, so there won't be any of those either until this is smoothed over.
Just wanted to let you guys know where I'm at and why things are so slow right now. I love you guys for sticking around with me and hope you have a lovely day!
...and I just realized what today is, but no, this is not an April Fools joke. I'm not very good at those.

Graduation and beyond...
Posted 9 years agoHey guys!
So, today is the big day; my graduation day! I think I've hit that point now where I'm overwhelmed by feelings of excitement and nervousness and I'm not really sure how I feel. But, I will tell you this: with my degree, I'll be able to take that next step in pursuing my career in the industry.
That being said, I do plan on opening up my commissions again as soon as I catch up. I'm hoping that I'll be able to continue accepting commissions after finding a job. Everything was put on pause while I worked out the remainder of the month, but now that school is over I should have time to work through my queue again. If anything expect some new works from me in the near future! To those waiting in the queue, I'm so sorry for the long wait, and thank you for being patient.
I'm really not sure what to expect this coming year. There's almost infinite possibilities, it just depends which one I fall into. Oh, and before I forget, the only plans I currently have set in stone for the rest of the year are Megacon and Kitsunekon. If you're planning on attending either of these, maybe we'll bump into each other!
Thanks to all of you supporting me, I hope you all have a nice day!

More life updates, and less than a month left!
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! I wanted to apologize for the lack of uploads and me being generally slow/quiet lately. A while back I mentioned being in the final months of college, and... well, this is the final month! In fact, my graduation is on March 4th, so long as I don't somehow fail this final class.
Speaking of finals, I've been pretty busy working on my final pieces for my portfolio/demo reel, which is basically my final grade. It's a lot of work (3D character modeling, for those who are out of the loop) but I'm working through it. I'm still considering uploading some 3D work here. For sure I will be uploading a render or turntable of this current character I'm working on, so that's something to look forward to!
As far as commissions go, I'm still keeping them closed until I've caught up with what I've got currently. I'll also be hunting around for a job after graduation since there's no way I'll be able to cover loans with commissions alone, so that may affect when I open my queue again. Thank you to those waiting in queue for being patient with me! ^^
Anyway, thank you all for the support and I hope you guys have a lovely evening!

Just a big, busy thank you.
Posted 9 years agoHiya all! It's been a bit, but I want to try and keep people a bit more informed than I have been.
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has commissioned me so far. I know I can be a bit slow at times but it's because of you guys that I've been gaining confidence in my skills as an artist. Being busy with schoolwork makes it hard to feel motivated to experiment with drawing, but the requests you guys make really allow me to explore my own skills and get a feel for where I'm strong and where I need to improve most. As a side note, I'm hoping to get the majority of these commissions finished done by New Years, schoolwork permitting.
Speaking of school, I've been pretty occupied with it as usual, especially with a major due date right around the corner. On the plus side this project will be my first actual portfolio piece, so the more effort I put into it the better, right? Something I've been debating is putting up some of my 3D work here on FA, though it would be a fair mix of humans and animals (feral and anthro).
Again, thank you so much for all of the support that you guys give me, and I can't wait to get to work on more of these pieces. ^^

One down, four/five to go!
Posted 10 years agoThis passed week was pretty draining for me. There was some confusion with due dates and what all I actually had to turn in for my final assignment (which was 67 percent of my grade) but thankfully everything was sorted out in the end! I just finished up the final assignment yesterday and am using the rest of the week to relax a bit before the next major class starts.
Just wanted to let you all know that once again schoolwork has left me busy and tired so content has been slow. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have at least started my next drawing... (spoilers, it may have soft nudity)
I did want to ask, though, is there anything in particular you guys would want me to doodle in my free time? I've got a few ideas of what I could draw next for a personal project, but I can't seem to pick one.

Life updates and my first journal!
Posted 10 years agoSo, I've never actually made use of the journal function on here before, but it's about time I use it to keep you guys up to date whenever I disappear for an extended period of time. My life is a little chaotic, so it's pretty common for me to not draw anything for weeks or even months at a time.
Right now, I'm still recuperating from my mom adopting a puppy and dumping all of the responsibility on me. But, on a brighter note, I have just entered the final six months of my degree! The workload is a little heavier, but it also means I'll be doing nothing but sculpting from this point on (hopefully). I'm planning to start streaming again soon (a mix of drawing and gaming, I haven't decided yet if I want to sculpt on stream) and hopefully along with that I'll pick up with drawing again.
As an aside, I just want to thank everyone again who watches me, sends me friendly messages from time to time, and comments on (and critiques) my work. I don't think I would be where I am right now if it weren't for having people around to remind me that I'm still a good artist even if I don't always think that myself.
Have a wonderful and fulfilling day, everyone!
