now that I have a decent ref I'll probably be entering raffles more often ^w^ (something I've really been wanting to do since receiving art is really nice instead of always giving art)

bleh I've been studying for the SAT in October >.< anybody got any tips?

also there are a couple of colleges I'm interested in (think I might major in Ancient History)

School started back and was way harder than ever before, so I spent less time on the computer

I found out I was moving back to America sooner than anticipated so I had a lot of things to do (I also wanted to spend as much time as possible with friends)

Actually moving back and getting settled again

started school back here and had a semesters worth of classes to do in the space of 3 weeks

Lost tablet (kinda weird reasoning but I didn't want to be on FA or DA till I found it again)

Tablet malfunctioning (I curled up and cried a lot)

Feeling depressed and just not wanting to do anything or talk to anyone

the starters look cool as well, but they confuse me. Froakie is the only one not to break its types them.

Fire type starters: The follow the Chinese Zodiac
Charmander - Dragon (look at Charizard)
Cyndaquil - Rat/Mouse (its called the fire mouse pokemon)

but then there is Fennekin. It resembles a fennic fox, and the fox is not a Chinese Zodiac. I'm wondering if it's evolutions will resemble more of a dog or tiger (like charizard is the dragon, not really charmander; but because its an evolution it still counts) any thoughts on this?

Grass type starters: This pattern is a little sketchier but some say the pattern is reptiles and others say the pattern is dinosaurs (I like the dinosaur one because its more interesting than the vagueness of reptiles)
Bulbasaur - Toad/Dicynodont
Chikorita - sauropods
Treeko - Gecko/Protarchaeopteryx (Protarchaeopteryx relates to its 2nd and 3rd form)
Turtwig - Turtle/ankylosaurus (ankylosaurus relating to Torterra, though turtles themselves count as dinosaurs)
Snivy - snakes/prehistoric snakes (this one isn't as obvious, but ancient snakes used to have legs, but over time they have evolved and lost their legs much like snivys evolutions. I believe there are only 2 species of snake that still have there legs today, though the legs are vestigial)
What about Chespin? It looks mammalian, I'd say kinda chipmunk/rodent like more specifically. I don't really see any way of it possibly returning to the reptile theme, but could it possibly represent the first known mammal which resembled rats or chipmunks? or is the theme just broken?

I love all of you guys, seriously I never thought I would enjoy a site more than I enjoy DA but I was wrong. Furs of FA: you are all wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and the community is so involved with giving to others and helping those in need. So many art giveaways, I mean, you never see people on DA doing art giveaways, freebies, and raffles but here its normal to do so. You furs have the biggest hearts and I'm glad to be part of this website :)

Did you guys know I love photography? Photographer is one of the career paths I'm thinking about. And I've been documenting my time here in Australia with photos that I've slowly been uploading to my DA account. Once I have it all organized I will share a link with you guys to check out ^^

I will be heading to Sydney for New Years so I will be without internet once more for a couple days. But I'm really excited :D did you know; Sydney draws an average of 1.5 million people for new years while New York only draws about 1 million? how crazy is that? Also its summer here not winter (bonus!)

I've done 3 styles of art here so far 1) Comic book 2) mild realism (more detail then most my stuff) and 3) glowy spirity art; but which do you guys want to see more of?

oh yah entries for the shark and moth art ends in a week and a half, dragon ends whenever I think I have all of my dragon buddies who want to be involved, involved

because I spend more time drawing for other people, let me draw for other people some more XD
anyway I've decided I love shark and moth anthros ;v; they're so pretty, plus I want to do a little project with some dragons in it

because I don't know any one with moth anthros that I am aware of and only a couple with shark anthros could you guys please help spread the word to people you think would be interested?

I want to draw a pic featuring a shark anthro (not feral) and I don't have a shark OC so in order not to have a thousand OCs I will draw someone else's shark!

but my school had its arts festival tonight and I got the award for art in my grade :D so I'm really excited about that. The piece that won was my 'surrealist self portrait' i.e. my fursona ^^

I've won art awards back in america, and now I have won one here; does that make me an internationally recognized artist? XD lol jk

I was so close to being done with all the ghost drawings. I had just finished the sketch for the last one is was hopefully going to upload them all tonight, but that's not going to happen. both USB ports on my laptop are shot. the first one died about a month ago on the plane to Cairns, which was inconvenient but manageable. but a hour ago the second one gave out as well. just bam! gone. with no warning.

you know what this means?

It means that I can't use my tablet because it hooks up with a USB. It means I can't scan drawings to upload because the printer hooks up with a USB. It means I can't just borrow someone else's computer because I can't use a USB to transfer files.

you know whats worse?

I have no idea when this is going to be fixed. The papers and stuff for the warranty are back in America, but they wouldn't do me any good here anyway. I have no idea how much it's going to cost to get this fixed or how soon that could happen.

I feel really bad about having one of the drawings unfinished :< I can upload 4 out of the 5 though.
