Now this might REALLY be the time to go. I know, in the past I've tried to move, posted a site and then became inactive soon after as I found out that the site didn't quite work the way I wanted it to (pillowfort and newgrounds), the recent events might completely torpedo this entire place.

From what I can tell, this should be better than the other two sites I tried and like I said, I might not have a choice. Twitter is not an option to me, so I'll do my best to post on Itaku from now on.

Upgrading my old gtx 960 to an rtx 4060 and getting a Toshiba Purple for long term storage. Might need a new PSU, but we'll see, maybe some faster ram too. It'd lay some good foundation either for 3D at some point or reviving Skyrim (again) for some screens now that I'll be able to run it smoothly with "mods". Might be a few days before i get it back, hopefully before weekend.

I finished Wilshire's commission before that, just haven't uploaded that one yet and it may still be subject to tweaks later. Thanks for commissioning me, everyone, it helps to have that little bit extra.

I've caught up with civilization. From 15/5 mbps to 300/15 down/up. Maybe I could stream things besides art that require more than 15 frames per second?
GPU and storage upgrade later down the line, my early "emergency" 1tb drive that I bought just to have something has always struggled to keep up with the demand for space.
Also getting my eyes checked today, specifically right one, again.

I'm a little too sick to draw right now, so I might as well just write something here. Commission's base version is almost done, I just need to draw in stuff on a screen and then do a bunch of alts for it. Been considering trying a YCH afterwards, I know I planned to go back to the game, but I need to help ma offset the effects of what happened recently. YCH's gonna involve Thriel, he's easily searchable on FA if you need to check him out.

Bank refused to refund mom's stolen money saying "the transaction was authorized using your data". Unfortunately, they blundered when they specified that Apple Pay was used. My mom does not use anything Apple or Google Pay she does have on her phone (and doesn't even know it). What happened was someone linked it to a Revolut account, then used that to pay for something on some Apple store. Been walking around with her trying to explain and help her understand what's going on, some lady on the phone asked me to see if there are any RDP apps on her phone (didn't find any). I'm still sticking to the theory it's related to the 2024 MOAB leak, someone skimmed her card and then used that data there, her phone number/data shows up as pwned from the 2021 Facebook leak. There's a bunch of points one could probably use to prove it wasn't her, like what phone number and devices used that Revolut account.

Not much else, whenever the fever gets good enough, I draw a bit and that's it.

And she's gotta go for another medical checkup in 9 days. Shitty old passwords combined with a leak collection released at the end of January this year (2024) is what I assume what happened, been getting login attempts from China all month on my own Microsoft account.

I finished doing the task for a job application, I can go back to drawing now. Hopefully it goes well and it felt good to do some actual programming work.

Speaking of which, once I finish the last two commissions, I'll be finishing that game in RPGMaker, but not with all the ideas I wanted. After struggling to have it work my way, I'd rather cut those features, focus on drawing art and use either Unity or Godot for the second game idea. RM is just not for me, even if I get my combat system working, I might end up bumping into a scenario where I have to make more adjustments and at that point I'd rather things were more flexible and built from the ground up by me as I need them, not modified.

I haven't updated my commission progress list in a while, the third one only needs the extra panel now. Progress stalled due to the usual tensions at home spiking recently, job searching and more importantly, mom recovering from a surgery (frayed artery in hand and blood clots in the area that need to be dissolved) and a lung cancer diagnosis on top of all existing conditions. The third has me checking on her often and helping due to wrist pain, the second, I finally got an actual response asking me to do a test task, so I'm doing that now. If I somehow find the focus to draw between these things, I will.
Haven't forgotten about the MH game project either, I just got stuck on one thing I really want in the game last time I tinkered with it.
