SO! not much has changed since my last journal. so assuming any of you even still read what I say here's an update.

Started my bachelors! online, and it's pretty bitch-en.

I finally got a job earlier this week, I start next Tuesday!

and I really haven't drawn anything lately which probably means that the quality of the level I have been at has deteriorated. so what I'm going to do, is ask for suggestions. anything. the more complex, the less I can guarantee but as it turns out you cant break an art block by not drawing lol.

so let me know. we'll see what happens.

Hi everyone. I'm not dead. I just realized that I haven't updated anyone on hardly anything.

I have had a job interview, I was rejected rather rudely. oh well I didn't really want to work at Mcdonalds. I have other applications out there but that's neither here nor there.

I'll most likely be starting a BA program in "web and interactive media" next week which is exciting. and terrifying.

I haven't drawn much lately but i do have some art to post soon. when I get around to it.

I have been wondering this a lot lately is my work worth buying? i have a fair amount of viewers at least compared to what i used to have. I dont know.. I'm still looking for a job but I've gotten a number of rejections and while I'm still looking I'm very low on cash.

So I want to know from you the viewer

If not, what should I improve to make you change your mind?

anyway, I've also posted all of the recent FreeArts on Inkbunny (same name) in case any of you are interested. in fact one of the drawings I did was only posted to inkbunny because of the AUP of FA. so I warn you now if you don't want to look at it then don't look. (it has a thumbnail that will also warn you)

I really want to thank you all for letting me do this. I actually didn't think hardly anyone would have wanted me to draw them anything. So it's really been an ego boost :).

Okay so amidst all of my wonderful free time while I job hunt I've decided that I will attempt some free art.

either respond here or send me a note with what you'd like I'm willing to attempt just about everything and anything. But if I have some major concern about something I'll be sure to let you know.

I don't expect anything in return HOWEVER, if you're feeling particularly nice I wouldn't mind if you pimped me a little :P post a journal or something telling people to check me out. :D

Job Searching...


I suppose it's not going to be very easy to find a job if I don't believe that I'm good enough at any one skill that I have.

guess all of those Disney specials about believing in yourself and so on weren't as much B.S. as I thought they were.

sometimes the words come faster than i can think them and then the whole concept falls to bitter shards that i try to put back together with tape and glue and hope. but its never the same. never the same.

okay i have to wonder, I'm not even sure what brought this up anymore, I understand why people pierce ears, nipples, eyebrows, belly buttons.. all of that.. I may not agree with them but I understand it. but the one thing i don't understand, and maybe if someone who does reads this they can inform me, but why... I've decided I don't wake up early enough. not because I'm tired. but because other people wake up or interrupt the train of thought.

there is a kind of trance you can slip into just after you've woken up and started to work on something, like homework, your thinking is clear. your mind is at ease. you have ideas and they actually sound good or turn out well when placed on paper etc. it's actually a wonderful feeling i wish i could manifest it at will.

the problem is this 'trance' can be very fragile. the slightest interruption, or utter terror of someone, probably unintentionally ( though knowing him i don't think it was unintentional he seems to want to make my life unpleasant.), sneaking up behind you and breaking your train of thought, your trance, and suddenly the bitter sweet taste of the fight or flight reflex fills your mouth your body twitches with adrenaline your heart seems to seize your muscles burn for release.

but you can't, there is no danger to fight no fear to run from so you close your eyes and see dazzling kaleidoscope spots on the inside of your eyelids your force your breathing to regular, make your heart start beating again. your mind devoid of anything that would have helped you in your homework or what ever you had been working on.

but oh well i guess... in case you were wondering the super long title is fragments of song titles that played while I was writing this journal I thought it would be cool.
