Hey everyone! I'm working on fleshing out a couple short stories (and a longer one, or two), but I'd like to have some other, shorter, stuff to write! So, with that in mind, I'd like to open some writing commissions! Not looking for anything too in depth, maybe at max around 2,500 words?
I'm open to pretty much anything that IS NOT fan fiction. I just can't get into that, and wouldn't want to disappoint. There are a few little things, however. I need to know about your characters. Personality, looks, and whatever you'd like to be going on.
Also, while yes, I will write erotic stuff, it will cost a bit more, as it makes me a bit uncomfortable.

Yup. Those 2 dreaded words, computer troubles. Went to log on tonight, and it just won't work. Been charging for over an hour, and still nothing. Super annoyed, and don't know how it happened. The laptop isn't even that old, maybe 5 years, at absolute most. Feeling pretty defeated by it right now. I finally had some motivation to work on pixel art or write, or just do something, and this happens.

I haven't been in the best place with pixel art, I've been in a bad slump with it, and just don't feel like anything is coming out very well. So, I'm taking a break from it, and doing some fun and less intense stuff.

Like the title says! I've got two new adopts that I'll be posting at some point tomorrow. They're both from my species, the Kitsumerdra. One is an Ansune, the other a Yosine. Both are RARE. The exact colors and patterns with NEVER be used again.
(One is rainbow though, so other rainbow ones in the future, if I do them, will not be exactly the same. The shades will be different.)

Hey everyone! I've finally gotten the time to get the information together about my species, the Kitsumerdra!
Now, on top of this information, I've also put together the stats and info to use these creatures in the Pathfinder RPG setting. They are pretty easily modified to work with D&D 3.5, and I'm sure probably with 5.0/Next, whatever it's being called now? If this is something you're interested in, and you want one of these creatures, just let me know, because I'll gladly send the info your way!

Ok! Onto the primary reason for this journal!

The Kitsumerdra have 3 sub-species. The Kitagon, a race of dragon-kitsune descended Kitsumerda. The Ansune, a race of celestial-kitsune descended Kitsumerdra. And the Yosine, a race of Fae-Kitsune descended Kitsumerdra.
Kitsumerdra, in and of themselves, are playful and joke loving creatures. While they vary from sub-race to sub-race, they do have underlying similarities in their personalities, and they more than willingly form close relationships with other sub-races. This sometimes results in marriages and children who show features from both sub-races. This doesn't happen often, though, because generally one prevails over the other.
Anyway, onto the sub-races themselves!

The Kitagon, descended from kitsune and dragons. These Kitsumerdra are characterized by their leathery wings, patches of scales, horns, and catlike eyes. They have a strong love of trinkets, treasures, and most especially, gemstones, which are a rare, delicate snack (and keepsake) for them. They are hearty, with thicker than average skin, and their build is very strong. They typically live wherever their draconic forefathers hailed from, and tend more towards solidarity than groups.
Their fur and scales tend to be similar to that of their parents, which can lead to some interesting color combinations. Most common, are those who are considered chromatic. Red, blue, green, etc. Almost as common are metallic colors; gold, silver, bronze, copper, and the like. And finally, gem colored Kitagon are among the rarest alive, these are those with exotic colors; purple, pink, orange, etc.
Their personalities range, though generally they are socially withdrawn, watching society change from a distance, and occasionally joining in when something interesting happens. Younger Kitagon are feisty, and frequently get into a lot of trouble in public. Many believe that this is the reason they tend to be more reserved in their adult life.
Average height and weight is (anthro form - 5'6", 180-220 pounds) (feral form - 6' long including tail, 130-190 pounds) (human form - 5'6", 180-220 pounds) (weight is always the same between human and anthro forms. Sometimes height as an anthro is slightly higher.)
Kitagon have a breath ability that correlates to their draconic heritage. Fire, ice, electricity, acid. They can see in the dark. Their wings develop slowly, but they are usable after years of practicing, as they grow.

The Ansune, descended from kitsune and celestial beings. They are characterized by feathered wings and almost glowing eyes. They are strongly attached to magic, and seek to learn the many different levels there are of it. They have a strong attachment to areas where magical energy is highest; mountain tops close to the clouds, old sacred lands, ancient magical areas (think stonehenge and the like). Their colors are somewhat muted, tending toward whites and pastels, with the occasional dark colored "fallen" Ansune. These dark colored Anusune are incredibly rare. They have a pretty average build, not particularly hearty or frail.
Personality is typically floaty and flighty, and they tend to be more interested in magic and magical items than in the rest of the world. They live in large tribes, with a small circle of elders who guide them. As youngsters, they can feel magic in almost anything, and tend to be distractable and excited when it comes to such things.
Average height and weight is (anthro form - 5'2", 130-180 pounds) (feral form - 5'4" long, 90-130 pounds) (human form - 5'2, 130-180 pounds) (human and anthro forms are always the same weight and tend to have the same height, with minor differences.)
Ansune have the ability to heal other creatures just by touching them. This is minor, unless the Ansune in question has progressed to the next "level" with their magic. They can also cast a "halo" of light around their heads when needed. They cannot see in the dark, but can in lowly lit areas.Their wings develop slowly, but they are usable after years of practicing, as they grow.

The Yosine, descended from kitsune and fae. They are characterized by their small build, childish appearance, and fairy-like wings and colors. They have a deep attachment to the natural world, and love all creatures and places. They can be found in all areas of the world, though they are often not in or around large cities. They live in small tribes, with a chief at the head of it. They collect natural items, things like pretty rocks and leaves, and often decorate themselves with such findings.
They have the largest variety of colors of all the Kitsumerdra, with shades ranging in all spectrums. Blues, greens, reds, yellows, purples, anything. The brightest of colors are somewhat rarer than most others, and are how you can usually tell which Yosine are more exotic than others. Their colors tend to be classified by region, tropical, tundra, forest, oceanic, plains, etc. Their markings vary based on creatures in the region as well. They can have spots, stripes, zigzags, etc.
Average height and weight is (anthro form - 4'2", 70 pounds) (feral form - 4'5" long, 50-80 pounds) (human - 4'2", 70 pounds) (human and anthro forms are always the same weight with only minor changes in height, if there is any difference at all.)
They are able to tell what the weather will be like for the next couple of days, an ability which they use to know when to gather/hunt. They cannot see in the dark, but can see in lowly lit areas. Their wings develop slowly, but they are usable after years of practicing, as they grow.

So, because my awesome sissy WolfiePuff is, well, totally awesome, I'm moving forward with my species adopts!
She's working with me to create bases for them, for their three different forms, and it's kicked me back to finishing everything else about them! So expect something with all their information fairly soon!

Other big news as well! My parents and grandparents helped me to buy a new car, since mine died about a month ago. I'm absolutely in love with it, though it's going to take some getting used to, especially in the snow. Which we've been getting all day x.x

On top of that, my hubby, who's absolutely awesome, got me two adorable baby rats for my birthday! They are the sweetest little things. One is still getting used to everything, and I'm really hoping that she isn't sick, but I think she's just missing her other cage mates from the store. The other one seems to be having the time of her life. She runs around and plays with their toys, and seems to absolutely love everything. She likes to nibble my fingers, too x3

Ugh. So, here I am, stretched out on the floor working on my nanowrimo project, when I get that unmistakeable feeling of something tightening in my foot. It starts to hurt. I look down, and my toe has bent itself completely back because of the cramp. I can't flatten it. It hurts. And all I can do is sit here and laugh hysterically. The hell is wrong with me?
Anyway, back to this novel thing. I'm not doing so great so far xD The ideas are there, but I just don't know where to start them.

Hey guys! I want to do some drawing later on tonight. Traditional drawing, since I'm not very good the tablet and programs I have yet. They'll mostly be sketches, I MIGHT try to clean them up in MyPaint, if I can figure out how it works, or in GIMP if I'm feeling up for it (can't afford Photoshop or SAI, so choices are a bit limited). But don't count on it.
Just leave me a GOOD reference of your character, preferably full body and if you can, front and back, though just front will work. I'm better at females, but will still consider males. Human, anthro, I'll even try feral (though I'm not the greatest at it). Will also give couples/multiple characters a shot.
Probably won't do ALL requests, but that depends on just how many I get.
Gonna try to find my scanner, so hopefully they won't be phone photos to upload.

Feel free to not read this, if you don't really want to know about my life. I just feel like talking about things a bit. I welcome comments and such, but they aren't necessary.

This last week in particular has been weird for me. I might just be hyper emotional, but yea.
I've been searching (unsuccessfully) for a job. It's been almost 3 years, maybe 4, I don't remember anymore. It's been a long time though, and let me tell you, that really wears on a person. Especially when you can see that it's wearing more on your spouse. He works so hard to keep us in a home, to feed us, to provide everything we need, and it really gets hard for him.
I won't get into the details of our marriage though. Those are things we've agreed are only between us.
Except for sex, because honestly, who doesn't talk about it when it rocks? (If you're one of the people who doesn't talk about it, how can you not? Like, seriously, I want to know how! XD )
But yea, the job situation has made things really hard. I've been out of work so long that nowhere takes my application seriously, no matter how hard I push. I've called and called and called, but it always seems like there's someone better. And maybe it's just the timing. A lot of people are out of jobs right now. I get that. Everyone is vying for the same spots.
But, we bought a car two nights ago. Like, out of the blue, my parents found this awesome deal. So they helped us come up with the money that night, because they knew it would be gone if we didn't. Hubby is thrilled. It's almost the exact same vehicle that he had when we first started living together. But that's another story in and of itself, and one that makes me too pissed off to talk about.
Thing with the car is, now our insurance has gone up. Quite a bit, I think. My grandparents say it's still a really good deal, considering that it's 2 cars AND our renter's insurance (which we have to have where we are). I guess it could be worse. Could be better, too, though.
I want to get back to writing. So bad. I've been in such a slump with it lately, and I'm a little embarrassed of the things I've written recently (no content, all smut). It was fun, I enjoyed writing it, but I don't want people to thing that's ALL that I write. It's not. It's just all I've done lately. I outlined a plot for a story I've been mulling over the last few weeks, so I want to start on that soon. Like, really soon. But, I won't be able to upload it anywhere, since I want to publish it eventually.
On the other hand, I'm so down tonight, that everything I want to write will just come out with a dreary, sad, overtone. And that's not fair to anyone who reads it. Not because of that tone, but because if people read my work for that tone, it's not something that will be there all the time.
How do you guys handle the nights when you're feeling particularly down, or beaten? What helps?
When I started writing this, I was honestly going to talk about the whole week. But then I realized that all the things I wanted to talk about from the week aren't really appropriate, or don't really matter.
We had D&D last night. My dice were assholes. Brand new dice, and the first good roll they have all night is to knock out a party member. Go figure. Every other roll with them was a fail, except that ONE, which I very nearly critted with. (First roll against her, nat 20. Confirmation roll 3 away from what I needed to succeed. Glad I didn't) We very quickly deteriorated into sex jokes and such, which happens way more often than I'd like to admit. No matter WHO is involved in the game. You'd think that the fact there's a guy in our group old enough to be our father would sway us to behave, but NOPE. He joins right in. And it's hilarious.
And apparently everyone thinks that all my characters have huge boobs? Not entirely sure why, but yea. That came up at least 3 times last night. She's also the youngest in the party. On accident.
Saturday we had our fire pit. It was enjoyable, especially after going to two cookouts during the day. My god, there was SO much food. And it's still sitting in our fridge. Might try to pawn it off on the roommate before it goes bad. I know he'll enjoy it. But yea. It was a good day all around. Got to see all the family on my side, then most of the family on the hubby's side. Everyone was really happy to see us, and us them. I was really glad that no one felt it was necessary to harass me about when I'm having kids. I love my family, but when that subject comes up, I just get irritated.
Anyway, that's really all that happened that was exciting this week. And all I can smell is pizza right now, and it's making me so hungry again. But I can't have any. Or rather, I won't ask. I'll maybe make some popcorn. Maybe.
I want to watch more Heroes... and I want my shows to come back...
I'm done now. I feel somewhat better. Maybe I can actually go get some writing done. If it's not related to the book I want to do, and not completely smut, maybe I'll upload it. Since I'm not feeling pixels right now.

So, I'm still slowly working on the species that I started a few weeks ago. It's slow coming, because at the same time as I'm working on bases for them, I've also been fleshing them out to be Pathfinder RPG usable. (I might be able to modify them as well for D&D, since they're so similar?)
Like I said, though, it's pretty slow going.
In the mean time, however, I've been thinking about doing human/anthro adopts on my pixel bases. I just don't know if there'd be any interest in them, and I'd like to be sure there is, before I put in the work to make them. They wouldn't be the new species, those are coming once I have everything figured out.
But, I'd take custom ideas (I guess you'd just give me a color scheme/character idea, and I go with that?), as well as coming up with some random ones of my own for people to buy.
They'd be a bit cheaper than my usual commissions, since they're just flat images, but I thought maybe I could do a tier bid thing, and have it get an animation once the bid gets above a certain amount.
Anyway, would anyone be interested in that?
Also, I'd love to do some art trades, if anyone's interested in those as well?
