Exactly what it says on the tin. I made a patreon to follow some artists I found on Twitter/X/WhateverthefuckElon'scallingitnow. Not gonna be uploading anything as I'm not much of an artist and most of my writing's pretty much fanfic. Debating if I'll become a paid follower for said artists or not, since I'm generally trying to keep expenses low so I can throw it at furry artists. The artist I'm following in particular is Rifle Infantry, a very talented artist who's working on a tabletop wargame called Firelock: 198X. Basically it's a low-fantasy Cold War Gone Hot affair as four nations battle each other for supremacy of the continent of Oid. Yes, Rommel. As a history nerd, my line of thinking was 'ha-ha, funny desert fox joke', not 'glorify the Third Reich and all the morally bankrupt ideas found therein'. Given that Rommel the Death Knight is short, kind of easily spooked, in a gay relationship with another Vulpera, NOT a tactical genius of any sort, and anti-genocide of any sort, he's not got a lot of commonlaity with the historical Erwin Rommel. Would like to hear my watcher's/random people on FA's thoughts. DK!Rommel has gone under that name for so long that changing it just seems wrong to me, but I'd like to hear your thoughts? Post the art or hold off?
