My Birthday 2022
Posted 3 years agoToday's my birthday.
It probably won't be special, due to our lack of present money or time for preparing. I've squandered the time watching/rewatching Christmas films and thinking too much about Suki and acceptance of having a twin/duplicate of her who has a shorter boyfriend, that I couldn't even squeeze in any remaining time to ask for art gifts. And my dad's check didn't come until after Christmas, and just like every winter, our car has to act up.
I only hope I'll be able to get to see Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Merry Christmas 2022 (so far)
Posted 3 years agoWell, it's finally Christmas. I hope everyone's having a better one than we are. Not that our Christmas isn't remotely good, but because Dad's paycheck doesn't come until the Wednesday after Christmas, it didn't allow us to afford any presents and the car's acting up in this cold weather (as the cars we usually get do). Today, the only gifts we got are stocking stuffers.
What I got are a chocolate orange, cherry candy canes (with red, yellow, orange, green, and blue stripes), a bag of sour cherry balls, and a bag of Starbursts.
And the rest of the presents won't be here until the 31st, New Year's Eve. Again, this is why I prefer preparing earlier than December, but we never do. I hope next year will finally be the year to change all that.
Also, because of being distracted or not focused enough, I procrastinated on my projects I wanted to get done before today delayed yet again, and I couldn't ask for Christmas art earlier. The main source of my distraction is a certain dog from a certain singing animal franchise. Other sources are watching and rewatching specials old and new. I've got to be more firm.
Anywho, to everyone else, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Channukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Ramadan, Happy Winter Solstice, Joyeux Noel, Mele Kalikimaka, Feliz Navidad, and all that.

Why I'm so into Suki Lane and created a duplicate of her
Posted 3 years agoHere's the thing:
Suki is a secret fantasy anthro design of mine come true, and I am a lifelong fan of anthros, and I also have taken a shine to cartoon Salukis (ever since I've started taking CERTAIN interest in Rita from Oliver & Company starting in 2010).
This one seemed perfect to me, not only because I love everything about her design (her blue dress, her lovely brown eyes, her hair that's cut to have bangs, her cute snout, etc.) but I'm also turned on by her dry and masculine yet feminine voice (yes, I like women with masculine voices as well) and I feel that she relates to me in the following ways:
* We both have brown eyes
* We don't show much emotion around others (though I do it to avoid looking weak)
* We spend a lot of time on our computers (technically she has a tablet and I have a laptop)
* We act serious though are still compassionate deep down inside
* We both pretty much have seen everything there is, so like Suki, I'm very particular on what will please me in entertainment
* Pretty much all of my life, I had to deal with yelling but just try to remain quiet. She has that way working with Jimmy, I have that way living with my older brother Tim. They're both bipolar and have mental issues, but Tim's nowhere near as bad as Jimmy. All the same, my nerves can't survive another argument with him.
Honestly, if I were a cartoon animal existing in the Sing universe (preferrably one that's not taller than her, because the whole tall guy-little woman thing is redundant in my opinion) and was interested in getting a relationship, I would very much like to date her.
But what ruins the ability to like her canon for me is that everyone has to follow the dictates of realism or the execs' thoughts, and not many people think positively towards her, and lately, with us living in a progressive era, (sarcastically) we just HAVE TO open the rule book on things to appeal to the masses.
So I thought to spare me from ending up in Hell (which I fear most) just for disrespecting wishes of others, I thought I should give her a twin as an excuse for what stories I had planned in use of her.
Also, if I have my own version of Suki with a different name (albeit having "Sukey" (spelled differently) as a nickname) and slightly different features, it would give me the freedom to have a version of her who doesn't fall victim to the "I like big beefy taller guys instead of being a woman of substance" cliche (it hasn't happened yet but no one objects to the idea, and she seems too good for it) or pander for woke's sake (i.e. 'you have to be gay because there's no such thing as bi'). Also, in the event that the Illumination execs end up making her an overarching twist villain just for the damn surprise factor and to keep themselves in business (there are several folks who hate Illumination), my double of her would still remain good.
I thought giving her a twin would be a loophole to it. The twin wouldn't be pandering to realism but respectful to others who do.

Decision regarding Looney Tunes
Posted 3 years agoI have come to a decision that as of today, I'm ignoring any further TV show and film from the Looney Tunes franchise until we get Penelope back, with or without Pepe. The new films and shows won't be worth my wasting time or headcanon over.
I won't be abandoning the whole franchise, but just anything from 2021-onward, starting with King Tweety. Anything further that's canon without my favorite sweet lovable undervalued kitty is dead to me, and I have lost interest in a majority of the characters' routines.
Hope everybody can respect that.

My Birthday of 2021
Posted 4 years agoWell, It is once again my birthday, and like last year, it's not very special as I haven't had a lot of time to plan for it, with many things happening, such as projects, the recent passing of my uncle Greg, figuring out what to get for Christmas, and traditionally rewatching Christmas films, we haven't figured how to make it special this year.
Well, one special thing is that my parents and I are going to see Sing 2 tonight.

Posted 4 years agoA Space Jam 2 subplot that could've been
Posted 4 years agoThis probably isn't in the plot for Space Jam: A New Legacy, but I think this would please critics and fans if it was included. If the Tunes weren't just there for comedy, but they also had a small subplot which was more dramatic.
Al G. Rhythm considers the Tune World a world of rejects because in a universe of more serious franchises (Harry Potter, DC, The Wizard of Oz, the Monsterverse, Lord of the Rings, etc.), the Tunes are not taken seriously and is also a reference to WB gives more love to other franchises than them. This leads to the presunption that the world has moved on from the Tunes and has no care for any of them, similar to how the Muppets think the world's forgotten them in their 2011 film.
During the big game, Al G. Rhythm tells Lebron to raise the stakes of the game. If his Goon Squad wins, not only will he keep his son to be his graphic designer but he'll erase the Looney Tunes and their world completely, being an A.I. and all. Not only the characters and their homes, but every Looney Tunes media ever made off the face of the cyber world, believing no one will miss them (like how Judge Doom claimed no one would miss Toontown and the toons if all of it was completely dipped away). Thinking he and the Tunes have nothing to worry about, Lebron agrees to the deal, but it leads to Bugs and the gang berating him for selling them out.
Al G. Rhythm: With all the stuff going on in the world today and with all the more exciting stuff people watch, do you honestly think anyone's gonna bother remembering some rabbit with a Jersey accent and his ridiculous co-stars or even be curious as to what happened to them?
Then at the final game, even when they give everything they got, when they are so close, Lebron and the Tune Squad loses, to pretty much everyone's disappointment. Then the Tunes completely lose spirit now that they've lost. Even Bugs, who usually never gives up, gives into the belief that the Tunes never had a chance and that the world doesn't care about them anymore. Then Al G. Rhythm gives the Tune some time to say goodbye to each other as they walk sadly off the court.
WB character from the crowd: (beginning to tear up) It can't end like this!
Then Lebron's son, Dom, and Lebron call Al G. Rhythm out on his desire to erase the Tunes, on account of his caring more about what's more popular in the Warner industry. Then Lebron's family and almost every WB character present then speak out in defense/support of the Tunes, to prove Al G Rhythm wrong about the world not caring about the Tunes. Some even show comments left by real-life users that in were in the Tunes' favor.
In my opinion, this could have worked if this were to be the Tunes' last hurrah in theaters. I think while the Tunes should be zany and silly as we know them, a little drama like this should be in a film featuring a group of toons who've been with us for 80 years, and it'd perfectly match how most think the Tunes are no longer relevant instead of just pushing the seriousness towards Lebron and his son.

Rolling In 2021
Posted 5 years agoThis year was even more horrific than the last one, with very minor exceptions (and I mean 'very minor'), but we'll be reeling in 2021, and I hope it'll be better than 2019 or 2020. I hope we'll be able to go more places soon, that America will be run better once Trump leaves, the Arctic will be left alone, that there'll be no more global disasters, and I'll get more projects done.
You'd think that with the recommendation to stay inside, I would have got more of my fics done, but no, I once again let procrastination and distraction get the better of me. I even paid more commitment to getting things watched and re-watched than finishing my own stuff (not that most of them weren't worth watching).
Some good things that came out of this are that I got to see a James Horner film on the big screen (I hope they'll bring back classic films anyway after the pandemic goes away), and some good stuff like Onward, SCOOB! and the new Animaniacs.
Resolutions to make:
* Be more productive
* Schedule my daily activities
* Procrastinate less
* Start finding a job
* Start obtaining more money to pay my Grandma back, to save for stuff like a VCR-to-Digital converter and theme park trips
* Get more done right away instead of waiting until the last minute
* Get a VCR-to-DVD converter device
I now leave you to the music of ABBA, Pooh and Carly Simon:

Happy New Year, folks, and farewell to everyone who's died this year and Adobe Flash.

My Birthday of 2020
Posted 5 years agoToday's my 25th birthday, and even though it's a milestone, it doesn't feel very special to me. Also, I still feel younger inside.
Due to the COVID and low income, I decided to postpone present-giving from my family when we had more money. Also, we're unable to go anywhere special.
If only I had time to ask anyone I knew for a birthday gift.

Christmas 2020
Posted 5 years agoMerry Christmas Eve (and actual day of Christmas in an hour) to everyone on this website, and I hope everyone has a safe Christmas.
To me, it's a lousy Christmas to cap off a lousy year, especially when my family blew another chance to break out of waiting until the last minute to get ready.

THE ARCTIC NEEDS US NOW!!!
Posted 5 years agoGuys, Trump may be out of office come January but he still has his plan to drill in the Arctic Refuge to start this December, and now is the best time to let the government know that we don't want the arctic drilled for oil!
So that's why I strongly insist all of you sign/edit these letters and share them with everyone you know, so the government hears more voices:

Encryption is in danger!
Posted 5 years agoEveryone, in case you haven't heard already, our Internet privacy is threatened once again, and so is the ability to copy and paste.
The Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies Act of 2019 — also known as the EARN IT Act — gives Attorney General Willliam Barr the power to demand that tech companies kill important encryption programs. That puts us all at risk of government censorship, cybersecurity breaches, and human rights abuses.
The worst part is, they are using the time of the Coronavirus as an excuse to do so with everyone focused on the disease instead of their privacy! We especially need the privacy at this dire time to keep in contact with folks when it's too dangerous to get around in public places at this time. We also need to copy and paste to save time on our projects.
This is all an attempt just to protect younger viewers because everyone's paranoid that EVERYBODY is a terrorist or sex trafficker.
To add further bad news, the vote for the EARN IT Act is tomorrow.
Don’t let Congress chip away at your essential freedoms online. Don't let them take away our privacy while the focus is on COVID-19, and while they're accusing everyone of being dangerous.
If you haven't already, use this current time to sign this petition now to tell your lawmakers to reject the dangerous EARN IT Act: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions.....email&&

Save pets from deaths at Yulin!
Posted 5 years agoEveryone, since the Lychee and Dog Meat Festival, commonly known as the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, began in 2009, thousands of dogs have been slaughtered for their meat during the 10-day festival each year. Summer is an especially dire time for our furry friends. Each year in June, an estimated 1,000 dogs are boiled or skinned alive, and then butchered for the festival.
The event is highly controversial in China, where animal lovers are banding together to oppose this cruelty. In fact, one of the most horrifying facets of the festival is that pet owners have been victims, too — many of the dogs that are killed are actually household pets that have been abducted from loving homes by vendors who just want extra meat. Countless images show dogs still wearing collars being sent to butcher. Others are helpless strays that have been rounded up to meet their horrific fate.
Even as awful as it is to kill and eat companion animals, it gets worse than that. Many vendors believe that adrenaline makes the meat taste better, so the dogs are often beaten to the point of torture before they are killed. The dogs are then skinned alive and boiled alive.
But international pressure is working to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival is clearly working. In early April 2020, the city of Shenzhen banned eating dogs and cats completely. A few weeks later, the Chinese government banned the use of dogs as livestock and officially reclassified the animals exclusively as "pets" — not food. Even before then, fewer dogs were killed in recent years due to restrictions on how much dog meat a vendor could sell.
Yet, despite all this, the Yulin festival is still set to happen again this year. A lot of us have making progress, but we're not done yet! We must stop Yulin now. We must get more voices now!
That's why I'm asking anyone who sees to sign these three separate petitions urging Chinese President Xi Jinping to save the puppies and officially ban the Yulin Dog Meat Festival now!

The ORG webs are targeted (DL: May 5th!)
Posted 6 years agoWell, it's not enough that this corrupted society has to get rid of family friendly entertainment (like old TV programs, episodes and VHS openings), but now they're targeting substitute website, Archives.org, and pretty much any website with an ".org" at the end, like Wikipedia (which is still reliable at times). I received an email about this on Christmas Eve but didn't want to mention it until after Christmas or the New Year.
I quote:
"More than 10 million organization websites are threatened by a greedy private equity firm that is plotting to take control of the .ORG domain. If this happens, millions of nonprofit and charity organizations could be impacted, and civil groups in some countries could be in danger.
In a world where a majority of the Internet is controlled by a few big companies, the .ORG domain should be protected from money-hungry interests. We must protect this space on the Internet where decisions are made in the interest of the greater good."
So since our monster congress who will never be nice to anyone who's not rich, we'll have to sign this just to prove we care: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions.....urce=email&
UPDATE: Signature amount needed to reach goal: 105
UPDATE: Deadline: May 5th!

My Birthday (2019)
Posted 6 years agoWell, today's my birthday again, and just like last year, it's a sloppy one where we can't do anything because of weather and money matters (thanks to certain greedy politicians who don't give us our income taxes). Also, I've decided to postpone the present giving at my house until January. Some birthday. You all might wish me a happy birthday if you like, but I know it'll just be a lousy one. Another lousy birthday to close out another lousy year.
Crappy birthday to me. All I can look forward to is the TV premiere of The Last Jedi, even though I know it won't be satisfying (at least it'll help me and my parents get caught up).
The worst part I was so unfocused and organized that I didn't ask anyone earlier for birthday request art.

My Christmas (2019)
Posted 6 years agoThis is a day late, but Merry Christmas to just about everyone, except those in government who care only about themselves.
To friends, watchers and other users I know, I certainly trust your Christmases are better than my family's this year. We didn't have a lot of money (thanks to the flood in September) and had to wait until the last minute, and I tried to do the opposite, but failed to keep that resolution as well.
Since my family didn't have enough money, these are all I got as presents:
* The Grinch (2018) DVD
* new jeans
* two new three-prong adapters
* another new flash drive
* black electric tape
* new socks
* assorted shortbread Christmas cookies
* cherry-flavored candy canes with red, yellow, blue and green stripes
Stocking stuffers:
* Reese's
* Chocolate orange
* JJ's Bakery Banana cream pie
* Scooby-Doo fruit snacks
* Snicker's (which I'm giving to someone else)
* Baby Ruth (which I'm giving to someone else)

December Birthday wishlist
Posted 6 years agoI so regret not finding time to do this earlier
It's too late to ask for any Christmas pics, but my birthday is coming up which is only a few days after Christmas, but I'd like to ask for something for the occasion anyway. I don't mind waiting a whole month for birthday gifts, at least before January 2020 is over.
1. Rita (Oliver & Company; as an anthro wearing only a wedding veil and gold collar (like Isis's from Krypto the Superdog)) happily wrapped in rope from upper chest to knees with Oliver (Oliver & Company; as an adult anthro cat dressed in a groom's tuxedo) holding the rope's end.
It'd be taking place in an alternate universe where Oliver and Rita are the same age and anthros (and it's based on a crazy alternate universe crack pairing idea I had), and this case would be considered a little game between the lovers.
2. Pepita (Coco; in her "land of the remembered" form) as a clothing-less anthro happily encased in rope from shoulders to knees.
3. Penelope (Looney Tunes; dressed as Marge Simpson's superhero alter-ego, the Entangler) wrapped in rope from shoulders to knees, grinning and blushing, with Sylvester (Looney Tunes; dressed as Homer Simpson's disguise, Pie Man) holding the rope's end. Penelope would be happy while bound because it's part of a game the two lovebirds are playing (yes, Sylvester and Penelope is one of my favorite pairings).

Happy Thanksgiving 2019
Posted 6 years agoSorry, to be late, but I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope everyone managed to survive the harsh storms.
This concerns all YouTube users (please don't ignore!)
Posted 6 years agoOkay, today I've just found out that on December 10th that they're updating the terms of YouTube.
So what will that mean for the uploaded VHS openings and rare cartoons we grew up with, along with the videos of today we love? Will they be deleted for good and will all our accounts be deleted?
If so, then I ask that everyone PLEASE download videos from YouTube and save them to their flash drives and computers before December 10th! PLEASE!! Those a-holes aren't going to let those videos stay forever!
There is a slim chance to stop this, and that's signing this petition and sharing it with everybody you know and telling THEM to sign/spread: http://chng.it/hDZh2STtPN

Happy Belated Halloween
Posted 6 years agoHope everyone on Furaffinity had a better Halloween than I did this year.
My family and I waited until the last minute for preparations, and I was also distracted by matters such as my feline, Eli, passing away two days before Halloween.
