Just wanted to say hi to new watchers, thank you all for favs and reading my stuff, and give you all an idea of what I'll be working on in the near future.

I've submitted a story for Heat #9 - I think it came out really well, and hopefully I'll make the cut again for next year's magazine. For those of you who read "By A Nose" from Heat #7, it's similar in tone and setting. It also gives me a launching pad for what I can potentially see as a novella... it might give me something to work on for NaNoWriMo this year, but we'll see.

Team Players is continuing - I just posted #5, "Backup," which has no sex but gives some more insight into Kelsey and introduces some other characters that might show up later on in the series. The next story is going to be a big one; I'm hoping to get a couple of commissions to go along with it, but we'll see how that goes. Right now, I've got a ridiculously unlimited number of stories in that storyline - as long as I can get motivated, I can write in it.

I may also start on an erotic story in my Avendale setting, the one from "Blood Bonds." It was a secondary piece I was going to try and slap together for submission into a different Sofawolf publication, but I may just put it together and post it here instead.

My writing motivation has been fairly good lately. I'm not sure what brought that on, but I'm hardly going to complain about it!

Managed to knock out just under 4000 words so far of a max 8000-word submission. Now I need to get into the main part of the plot... go back and tighten the first half so it's more of the first third...

... I take time off from work with the intention of using some time to write my submission for Heat #9, and what happens? My creativity takes the same damn week off... Nutbunnies.

What is it with these 'character sales' I've been seeing lately? It's basically sOmeone going 'hey, I made up this character, you want to buy it?' I mean, why is this a good deal? Can people not create their own characters anymore?

I just find it odd. If I create a character, they're mine. Selling them would just be odd. And buying one from someone else would be just as weird.

... So what the fuck is a Furocity, and why should I care about it like so many other people do? Anyone?

Why are all of the artists who I want to see Lucas and Kelsey drawn by either really expensive or not taking commissions or, when they do open commissions, booked within 20 minutes of them opening up?

Yes, artist, you've just presented a picture that's based on someone else's work, on their ideas, and their concepts, but it doesn't make good fap material for a portion of your audience, so you should not do that anymore and instead draw everything with two guys nailing each other.

Hi, recent watchers! *waves* Just wanted to say thank you for the watches, and I hope you enjoy my stuff. =)

Unlike most of the time recently, I've got some stuff in the works. Notably, I looked at that last story, "Taking One For the Team," and realized that I had the seeds of a series there... after pondering it for a while, I realized that I've got at least five or six stories I can write in that set. They'll be a mix of clean and naughty, with a mix of character combinations. I kind of like the characters as I think them through, so hopefully I can build on that and put out some interesting and character-driven stories. With sex, in a lot of cases. =P

Some son of a mother has stolen my characters. Colin and Erik turned up on a rather odd place, a board I'd never heard of... along with some obvious direct theft from one of my stories, and likely some other as well.

I've asked the board mod to take care of that, but we'll see how it goes... *headshakes*

I've just dropped two story fragments into my Scraps folder, and would appreciate anyone's thoughts on which one they like, which one they find more interesting at present. I want to get my ass in gear with writing actual stories on a regular basis; I've got a short story that I want to write for submission to a magazine, but these two are longer pieces that I'd like to work with as the basis for my ongoing work. They'll probably be removed at some point in the next few weeks, after some comments have come in.

FA's back, I can post some of my photos and promise that I'll write some more pr0n soon. Woot.
