I had some personal drama, and some health issues come up, but I'm dealing with them now so hopefully I will be back to my happy commissioning state again soon! I'm creating this journal as sort of my reference material, because I used to be an artist, and I used to take commissions. Sometimes I know it was hard to deal with customers--I have social anxiety, and I had a lot of severe anxiety specifically about bugging my commissioners when I had questions or concerns and I definitely had trouble saying no.
I want you to know that it's okay to tell me no.
I've been getting more specific when I request commissions, and that's because I've found that when I ask for something clearly, in general I am happier with the final product. Easy for the artist and easy for me. So if I ask for something that sounds like it might not be your forte, please don't feel like you have to force it for me! I will happily think of something else to request of you.
If I commission you, I will not bug you for my picture.
I will usually wait about two weeks. Then, if I haven't received even a sketch or a message saying that my art will be delayed, I will send you a message asking about it. I'm quite understanding when things come up and if my commission is on hold, just let me know about when I can expect it. I don't want to rush you because I know art takes time. I want you to be happy because then I will be happy, too!
I will pay you on time, or I will let you know immediately when I will be able to pay, in my initial message.
In case the collection of commissions doesn't speak for my reliability (I know there are some art collectors out there who are still notoriously bad customers), I just want to put it out there that I will not normally message an artist unless I have commission money waiting. If I can't pay right away, I will let you know when to expect payment. (It's usually the upcoming Thursday.)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
I try to send lots of references, a good description, and photos along with my request, because I want my picture to be as good as possible. I don't mind a good rapport with my artists because communication is key to any relationship, including the relationship between customer and artist! I'm here to give you my money and to make your job as simple as possible.
In the event that you suddenly disappear, and I cannot message you or you do not respond to messages, I will file a PayPal dispute, and later, a claim.
This is a business transaction after all, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect you to communicate with me if something's come up and you're unable to finish my commission. If it should happen that your account is disabled, and I have not received any information from you, I will file a dispute and make a note of the transgression.
Lastly, thank you for all you do!

I chose gray because I like gray. The only important physical aspect is that she has blue eyes--all of my fursonas have had blue eyes because I have blue eyes.
