i started posting music on this account over three years ago. i never thought anything would come of it.

instead i made some great friends, met some of my musical idols and published songs a younger me couldn't have fathomed.

As I type this out, I'm currently lying in a hospital ward. The operation went successfully thank God, and now I have to wait a few days before I can leave.

Thank you all SO MUCH for the support! I couldn't have done it with nearly as much confidence if it hadn't been for you guys. It'll be a while until I settle back into music production but rest assured, I'll be back before you know it!

So uh, things have been happening.

Like, a LOT.

Got hit by a car. Badly. Well over 60 kph and nailed me right in the left leg. After a trip in an ambulance and night at the local hospital, I've arrived home with a massive cast and an operation scheduled in two days. Gonna put metal plates in my ankle, pretty scary.

I'm off work for God knows how long and unfortunately, probably music too. All depends on how it goes, but I can't currently sit at my desk and I doubt that'll change for a while.

I'll see you guys after the surgery, hopefully it goes well.

Wow, FA got hit hard huh? Glad it's up again.

I've noticed that they've used a backup from a fair while ago, which means Cry For A Dream, Reaching Past and Uplifting Memories were all lost. Not to worry! I'll be reposting them over the course of the week (I'd do it in one go, but I don't wanna flood the "New Submissions" tab).

As for new stuff I do have a few projects in the works, along with that acoustic thing from  kijaruthefox. I've also decided to revamp my gallery to better suit what I make. The "Old Stuff" and "Recent Stuff" folders are way too vague haha.

So  kijaruthefox and I have decided to collaborate on Cry For A Dream! He was kind enough to work on adding an acoustic accompaniment to the song and I, like all, can't wait to hear the results!

Other than that, my "big happy" project is doing well. It'll hopefully be out within the week.

Considering the remixes I've done recently, I thought I might do something cool! I've decided that, due to the amount of fun I'm having doing so, I'm gonna do a remix of one song from every Sonic game!

All of the main ones that is. Every single one... bar Sonic Boom because fuck that shit.

Despite already covering Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3, I'll still do another from that game as well. If there're any requests you guys want, be sure to leave a comment and I'll see what I can do. I can't wait to dig into all the soundtracks and see what I find!

I'll be starting on it pretty much right away (Sonic 1 ahoy!) but I have a current song underway too. It's a palate-cleanser from all the big projects I've done recently. Remember Technofreak 2.0? Something along those lines; a stupid, catchy tune to be stupid with.

THE SONICATHON

Guess who's back? You thought me? Correct! No rewards for you.

It took a while for us to settle in, but me and my roommate are officially living in a flat. Like, paying bills and working, all that shit. I have never felt more adult in my life. Because of that, we had to wait for the Internet people to work their voodoo magic and it finally happened yesterday, hence my resurrection. I'm back baby!

So I'm moving to a new place on my own. Holy shit right?

This means that for the next week or so I won't be posting at all, and even then, sparingly afterwards for a while. I'll still be working on some tunes, but will be unable to post them for a while.

I got a new Avatar! Isn't it awesome? Massive thanks to  apismellifera for this great piece of artwork.

I've decided to leave the old avatar on my older music. It'll be a good sign of how far my work has come. God, it's so refreshing not having a pixelated mess as my profile icon for once.

As for updates, the Chemical Plant Zone is still in the works unfortunately, but I've got an original piece coming soon!

Sorry for the radio silence, been rather busy with boring life stuff.

I've recently been going through the Classic Sonic series for the billionth time and remembered just how awesome the soundtracks are. Considering how much fun remixing Ice Cap Zone was, it only seems logical to continue the trend. I can't wait to get started!

Hi all. Just a quick update on what's happening with me.

In terms of life stuff I'm doing alright. College is quite manageable so far, financial crap is steady thanks to my shitty retail job and I haven't died! That one's always a plus.

Musically, I'm also looking good. Supernova was one hell of a long-term project for me so I'm currently kicking back the ambition to create something fun and relatively painless. Remember that Ice Cap Zone remix I made eons ago? I hate it with a passion now. Expect to see an updated, fast-paced pumping version within the next week or so.

So yeah, overall doing great. Only other thing I'm wanting to change is my avatar, as it looks more and more garish every passing second. Anyone know where I could go to get a new one? Still kinda lost on FA lol.
