Update on ALL art (Hoodies, Commissions etc) (REFUND INFO)
Posted 12 years agoFolks, I am SO sorry for the lack of communication I've had with my watchers.
This past month has been hell for me, and I apologize with the lack of communication and lack of art that I've promised. I've only just recently came back from the hospital early this week from passing out at work due to the high stress load I've been taking on. I passed out at work because I have not been eating like I should have (I normally go through the entire work day without eating because I'm the person who takes in the brunt of the work because my bosses prefer coming in late and leaving early and having the salon managed by me.) As a result, I've had high blood pressure and damaged myself internally by dropping 12 pounds since I've started this job. However, I can not quit because there's no guarantee I will be making this type of money with regular customers that I've already attained at this job at another salon.
But that is no excuse as to why I shouldn't have let you guys in the know about Not only does this make me an irresponsible artist, but it also reflects how badly I manage my time as well.
For my Hoodie Commissioners who have paid for their hoodies, please send me a note so I may send you a refund with your name/email that you've used to pay for the commission. As a Note, I WILL be doing all Hoodies free of charge because of my irresponsponsibility as a artist.
For those who paid for regular commission, I will be refunding HALF (50%) of your commission for the same reason above.
I sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience that I've caused.

Even though I'm getting paid fairly better than my other job (Okay, a lot better) Working 10 hours a day and then working on art (Which I'll be uploading tomorrow night or Sunday since I'm off all day Sunday. I've finished 7 of them including a major commission) has left me completely exhausted.
For those who do not know, I work as a Nail technician, so my back has completely started to wear me out (This hasn't happened at my other job) but perhaps that's my age catching up to me. (Haruki. Shut up. You're only 21.) I also work with an acid-based Callus Remover which somehow dripped onto my pants and now I have a couple o these sore/holes (small but painful) on my thigh which hurts to walk around.
I apologize for the lack of activity, I'm getting these done as fast as possible with my time limit. I may ask for another day off so I can work solely on commissions like my Sunday off.
For those who haven't recieved my information about payment, please note me. In the meanwhile, I will be noting everyone back who has noted me since the last journal.

I will be uploading the Hoodie Commissions en mass, so keep and eye out as well as the regular commissions I have nearly finished! I'm sorry I haven't been active lately, there has been an unexpected life event as I recently got hired. I work from 9:30AM to 9PM so I have less time to do the Hoodies, but fear not! I have completed several already and will be uploading in groups of four at a time I won't swamp FA's Welcome page!

2800 W Sublett Rd, Arlington, TX
There's usually between 50-80+ furs attending at it's peek time. The furmeet officially starts at 11AM and ends whenever the meet starts to dwindle down (Normally 4-5 PM). Fursuits are NOT REQUIRED. You don't have to own a fursuit to be there xD Just be whoever you want to be!
NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, WEAPONS or anything SEXUAL in a physical form (Think Dildo and the like) is allowed! We try to keep the Meet PG-13 when it comes to material like that, although discussion and art of such is fine. We are located near-ish to a playground, so keep in mind the Playground is off-limits per Park Rules.Art Update

Hit and Run (Rant)
Posted 12 years agoOkay, i'm a little ticked off :T
As some of you know, I live in Texas, particularly in the DFW area. Not only that, I live literally next to one of the busiest Highway intersections I-20 and Highway 360.
I just got home from watching Warm Bodies (Which is a FABULOUS MOVIE) with my mom, dropped her off at the pool hall (Her bf will be driving her home from there) and got onto 360 heading to I-20 East. Not surprisingly, there are 3 huge accidents literally probably 80ft/24meters from eachother. And they all seem to be fresh accidents, so they couldn't have been there long as there weren't even police cars/ambulances/etc there to help the people out.
And for anyone who know about Texas drivers, we have some crazy ass drivers and today was no exception. Merging onto a free lane to the far right side (towards the mixmaster/bridge that will take you to I-20 Eastbound from 360 South), I was letting the guy in front of me merge onto the lane as well since he was already blinking his blinkers. I had my emergency blinkers on at this point so people wouldn't speed along the free space behind me in an effort to get around this mess and slow down.
'lo and behold, here comes this driver who's swerving and I only looked up just enough to speed up faster as the car in front of me speeds up. Still, the guy behind me hits me, blinks his Hi-Lights, swerves some more, rushes my car again to the point where he literally is on my bumper.
"Maybe he wants me to pull over to switch details" I thought before pulling over onto the side of the road. Nope. Mr Asshat in a Red Volvo, speeds up, flashes and honks at me, before hitting the car that I let through in front of me and repeats the whole swerving and rushing. At this point, he swerves to the left as the bridge approaches, sees that the next lane is blocked by one of the huge accidents and swerves onto the bridge that leads to I-20 Eastbound. The poor car that was in front of me was hit again on his bumper before Mr. Asshat takes the right lane on the bridge.
Call me reckless, but by the time he was on that lane, I was already getting on the bridge and picking up speed. I was trying to get his license number and boy did he start driving even faster when he saw me on his tail. He started weaving around cars to put space between us as we went down the ramp onto one of the main roads.
Sadly, I did lose him at the street light as he pulled into the gas station and took a shortcut but I was already tired of his shit and pulled back. I certainly wasn't going to cause the next wreck that's for sure.
Anyways, I got home and inspected the damage, it was light as I expected since I didn't feel that much of a 'bump when he hit me because I sped up just enough when he hit his break and gas. My car has a a dent in the rear bump, but it doesn't bother me too much, and some paint scraped.
But meh, I live to another day.

I wanted to let ya'll know, especially those who have me commissioned, that I will be breaking for this week as I work overtime to get some money raised for TFF C: I'll be uploading quick pieces here and there, but at most, if all goes to plan, I'll only have an hour or so to do any art since overtime will be taking over.

I had been so strained as of late, that I took an unannounced art break for a couple days to relax and get myself together. But in doing so, I feel like I'm not feeling as 'pressured' as much as I did before since I was too eager to show myself as a new artist that I over-did myself.
From now on, now that I know my limits I'll be able to take in what I can without exploding c:
People on the Art Sale list do not need to worry xD I'm working on them as we speak and will upload quite a few in a few hours ^^

That means the price can go up! But this is rarely ever the case unless you have a super complicated character xDDigital Badges:
Badges are in done in 3"x4" which can sometimes vary depending on character so it could be bigger or smaller (However, if there is a certain size it MUST be in, that can be done as well) These are up to you to print and laminate!
