So... Here's Something New...
Posted 3 years agoAfter having plenty of people talking me into it, I finally decided to go with my gut and create something I have little-to-no interaction with in the slightest: an account on Discord!
If anybody's got some insight on how to actually use this website effectively, it'd be very much appreciated if you showed me the ropes...as well as join my server, The Aries Knight's Roundtable. If you wanna link to it, just ask and I will deliver! ^^

An Actually Forgotten Anniversary!
Posted 3 years agoHow fitting of me being off my groove and not getting much in the way of content of my page done to find out my second Anniversary of joining Fur Affinity was only yesterday, and I completely forgot! Though to be fair, I had a power outage at my place the night before and couldn't do much to fix that error back on the actual day, so...! ^^;
Anyways, happy late Anniversary for me, then! I promise to not forget about it, next time! XD

There and Back Again!
Posted 4 years agoAh, September... How I always longed for you each and every year after a long and hot Summer...!
For those of you who know me well, you'll know that this particular month is when I do my annual re-reading of my all-time favorite book, The Lord of The Rings, as September just so happens to be a relatively important month in the land of Middle-earth. And you'd be correct in assuming I'm still gonna be holding to that long tradition!
But this year's a little different compared to the others...for I'm not just reading The Lord of The Rings this year. I'm also gonna be reading through both The Hobbit AND The Silmarillion as well, seeing as I was giving those books for Christmas last year! It'll be the first time since the eighth grade since I've read the former, and the very first time I'd be reading the latter; so wish me luck! ^^

A Really Stupid Mentality
Posted 4 years agoSaw someone make a comment like this in a YouTube video reading Reddit posts of people talking about stupid mentalities that need to end, and thought it bears repeating since I'm of a like mind:
If there's one mentality I REALLY don't like, it's the one where people post their opinions on certain topics of discussion on any form of social media, and then follow it up by saying something along the lines of "I'm not going to debate this with anyone. If you disagree with me or my opinion(s), I will unfollow and unfriend you 'cause I don't wanna hear it"...
When I see those kinds of comments, my blood BOILS like you wouldn't believe! It honestly baffles me how people like this can be SO unwilling to disagree, discuss, and learn about the other side of things like that! And honestly, even if I do end up agreeing with their points, I'd still give them shit for saying something so blatantly closed-minded, that it makes their points completely sound less like a mature response to something and more like childish ranting and whining (which knowing those kinds of people, it usually DOES boil down to the latter)! Seriously, what's the f*cking point of posting your opinion of something on a public forum, and then not engage with it with other people; including the ones who disagree with you?
I'll tell you what that point is: It's that people who do that shit aren't looking to learn anything. They're looking for echo-chambers that're constantly telling them they're right and that they should NEVER question anything they hear ever; like the good little pawns on the chessboard they truly are...!
Well, you know what I say to that? I say "F*ck that shit! I'll save you the trouble by either avoiding you like the plague from now on, or unfollow/unfriend you myself since you asked OH-SO nicely! Have a nice life of pure ignorant bliss, and here's to hoping you'll someday learn that the world doesn't revolve around you, you precious little snowflake!"
(Sorry for the rant, especially since it's something I don't usually do. It just had to be said sooner or later, and we under the Aries Sign are known for being blunt, brutal, and particularly harsh with our honesty...! ^^; )

A Nearly Forgotten Anniversary
Posted 4 years agoKept on telling myself in my head that I wouldn't forget it this week, and lo and behold, I almost f*cking forgot it! Good thing I caught myself in time! XD
Anyways, today marks my one-year anniversary since joining Fur Affinity! Admittedly, I feel as if I'm nowhere near as active on here as I am over on DeviantArt (primarily because the latter allow one to give small Status Updates), but to be fair, I do surf around here just as much.
Here's to another year on FA! ^^

A New Setup
Posted 4 years agoWelp, I did it. I've finally gotten a brand new gaming PC to replace the crappy laptop I've been using for God-knows-how long...!
Man, this could take a LOT of getting used to. From the massive curved monitor to the keyboard being a separate piece altogether, I've got much to get learn; especially since I got this primarily to get into more PC games... ^^;
If anybody who's more into PC-gaming and has a recommendation on what to get for the latter bit, please let me know! Until then, I've got some web-browsing to do! :)

Happy National Hobbit Day!
Posted 5 years agoSo... Remember how I said in my previous Journal that I would mention why September is an important month within the lore of Tolkien's Middle-earth later on? Well, now's the time to explain, and it all comes back to this day in particular...
Why is September 22nd important to the story, you ask? Simple. It's the date of birth of two important characters within Tolkien's stories: Bilbo Baggins, and his second cousin once-removed, Frodo Baggins! They were both born on the same day, which ended up being one of the minor reasons why Bilbo made Frodo the heir of Bag End in the book; outside of wanting to raise the young hobbit after his parents died from drowning, Bilbo wanted to share his birthday celebrations with Frodo. That's also why Tolkien fans like myself refer to September 22nd as 'National Hobbit Day'.
Oh, and in case you're curious, Frodo turned 33 years old when Bilbo turned 111 (or eleventy-first, as the book calls it) at the start of Fellowship of The Ring. ;)
Anyways, have a happy National Hobbit Day, and a good Autumn Equinox, too! :)

An Old Tradition and An Update
Posted 5 years agoThree Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf -lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
It's that time of year, again!
For those of you who don't know, I'm a huge fan of The Lord of The Rings. I love the books, I love the movies, I love some of the video games I've managed to play; hell, I've even faved some really nice pieces of fanart over on DeviantArt from time to time! Ever since I've watched the movies for the first time during my middle school years (I think), I've been heavily interested in the franchise for a long while now! So when my older brother was kind enough to give me his copy of the book containing all three parts to the entire trilogy during my Sophomore year in high school, you can imagine how hooked I was back then!
As for why I'm bringing this up... Well, that's because today, September 1, marks the day I uphold a tradition: You see, I was so enamored with the books so much, I decided that I would re-read through them all over again every year starting on this month! This is partially due to me having read these books for the first time during the Autumn months, partially due to September actually being an important month in the timeline of the story (I'll explain why later on, this month), and partially because I wanna honor one of my all-time favorite actors, the late Christopher Lee, who was also a fan of the series who read the trilogy annually! Regardless the reason, though, this is a time of year where that I'm always itching to return to, and I can't wait to get started on my read-through!
Since this is a Journal, however, I would also like to give a bit of an Update on my writing. Throughout most of the year, I've been on one REALLY long case of Writer's Block where I just couldn't get thing's done. And not helping in that regard is me having a serious issue with procrastination, where I keep on holding off finishing something for some dumb reason or another...
For this month, seeing as I'm planning on making this month a positive one for me in the ridiculously stressful year that is 2020, I decided to try and take my work both on Fur Affinity and my DeviantArt account more seriously. I'm gonna try to work on the stories I've planned to write down, as well as look up ways to deal with both the aforementioned Writer's Block and Procrastination issues I have. I do this because I wanna get better with my writing, get more of my Zodiac Knights stories and my own fanfics out there, and to entertain you guys and any other person who stumbles upon my accounts 'cause God knows we need more optimism in this day and age!
I say this because, as Samwise Gamgee (favorite character, by the way!) said in The Two Towers movie, "It's only a passing thing, this shadow; even darkness must pass." Those words should really ring out far and wide, nowadays, and I plan on making it that way by trying to stay as hopeful to the future as I can and bettering myself!
That's all I have to say, for now. Until then, have a pleasant day!
Oh, and here's a list of Story Ideas I plan on trying to write down at the moment!
Aries Vs Capricorn Idea: A Zodiac Knights story following Aries as he flees from a battalion of bounty hunters who're after the hefty reward placed on his head by the kingdom he's travelling through. While taking a shortcut that'll get him closer to the border, the Anthro Ram has an encounter with a certain Goat Knight; one who seems very familiar...
Aries and Pisces Idea: A Bondage-themed Zodiac Knights story involving Aries getting captured and held prisoner by a city of Bermudas who seem to have a bone to pick with him. There, while writhing in his bindings, the Knight of The Ram is rescued by a new ally; one who's just as fishy as his captors...
The Flirty Prince Idea: A Zodiac Knights story following Aries getting a job from a famous, but far-off principality of magic users. The task? To serve as a temporary guard for the city's newest prince; a flirtatious fellow whom the Anthro Ram has had history with back when they were kids...
The Backwater Human Village Idea: A Bondage-themed Zodiac Knights story following Aries travelling into the woods while on an investigation job from the nearby kingdom. While there, he ends up getting captured by and taken to a village of Humans deep within the forest; Humans whom, strangely enough, don't know anything about Anthros, and as such, mistake the poor Anthro Ram for a monster that's been plaguing them...
Male Byleth X Claude Story: A retelling of the S-Rank Support Conversation between Byleth and The Golden Deer's Claude from Fire Emblem: Three Houses where the former is Male instead of Female. Companion piece to 'The Boar and The Fell-Star'.
Krystal Bondage Story: A Bondage-themed story centered on Krystal from Star Fox: Adventures getting captured by a group of Sharp-Claws. Based off of a post I requested from Yalleo over on DeviantArt.
Undecided Collab Story: An undecided Bondage-themed collab story with

My First FA Journal: My Specialty Preferences
Posted 5 years agoAfter nearly three months from when I made this account, I'm finally gonna make my very first Journal; and this one's something I had on my mind for awhile, now! :)
So, as any user or frequent user of Fur Affinity knows, most of the site's fetish/kink-related artwork is categorized under the Specialty list on the Browsing page. We all have some 'specialties' within that list that we tend to pay close attention to, and others that we tend to ignore. We all have our most favorites and least favorites in that list, as well as those in between them. Seeing this myself, I decided to make this Journal in particular a special listing of my thoughts on each and every one of the listed 'specialties'; partly because I want people to know what kind of content they can expect from me and partly because I simply wanted to.
To give some context on how this list'll work, I'm gonna color-coat each 'Specialty' in terms of whether I like it, dislike it, or am more neutral towards it. Here's how it'll go down:
Blue: Love the Specialty
Green: Like the Specialty
Yellow: Neutral towards the Specialty
Orange: Dislike the Specialty
Red: Hate the Specialty
Once they've been properly color-coated, I'll also give a brief explanation as to why I have that certain opinion on that Specialty. If you want me to go into further detail or if you have any questions regarding my opinions, feel free to ask me by leaving a comment down below; and feel free to make your own list on your preferences! Also, bare in mind that these choices are all MY personal opinions on each of the Specialties! If you happen to like a certain Specialty I don't like, or vice versa, that's completely fine by me; I'm not gonna judge you for your opinions, and I hope you don't judge me for mine...! :)
Anyways, here's my list of preferences on Fur Affinity's Specialties, in alphabetical order:
Baby Furs: Not a fan of baby-themed clothing or diapers...like, at all!
Bondage: From your standard-issue BDSM to DiD, GiD, and CiD, there's a lot for me to love with this Specialty!
Digimon: Haven't watched much of the show myself, but I can't deny that I do like quite a few of these 'Digital Monsters'!
Fat Furs: Personally, I find all body types very appealing and attractive. When it comes to fat body types, I...honestly can't really remember what got me into them aside from me first finding Fur Affinity through a Fat Fur artist...!
Fetish Other: Not much to say here; can't think of any fetishes/kinks to think of that'd fit in this Specialty.
Fursuit: I can kinda understand why people are into them, but as of the making of this Journal, you'll NEVER see me wearing a Fursuit unless someone is making me wear it!
General Furry Art: I'm always down for getting into artwork that has no fetish/kink-related perks to it!
Gore/Macabre Art: I'll just say it depends on the quality of the art, and move on...!
Hyper: Don't really care for this Specialty in the slightest...
Inflation: This is a weird one for me. I used to like this a lot more than I do nowadays, but I kinda lost most of my interest in it as I grew older. If I do end up faving an Inflation post, it'll more than likely be Blueberry/Fruit Inflation-based; and even then, I still haven't faved them all that much...!
Macro/Micro: Same as Hyper; don't really care for this one...!
Muscle Furs: Similar to Fat Furs, I also find muscular body types just as attractive as all other body types. I do wish I could fave more posts of that kinda thing, though...!
My Little Pony/Brony: Aside from the fact that I'm a fan of someone on YouTube who has reviewed quite a few episodes of the show, I'm not too interested in My Little Pony. Some of the characters pique my interests, sure, but I don't see myself watching it anytime soon...
Paw: Same as Hyper and Macro/Micro.
Pokemon: Can't get enough of these lovely 'Pocket Monsters'; and this is coming from someone who, as of the making of this Journal, has STILL not played a single Pokemon game!
Pregnancy: Same as Hyper, Macro/Micro, and Paw.
Sonic: Used to be into this series when I was a kid, but kinda grew out of it as I got older. I still like some of the characters from it, though!
Transformation: F*cking LOVE this Specialty! The concept is really cool, and there's so many possibilities for it!
TF/TG: Wasn't really into this at first, but a couple of friends I made on here and DeviantArt got me to appreciate it more. I...just wish there was more Female to Male TG posts out there...!
Vore: Aside from Hard/Fatal Vore, I don't really mind Vore-related art all that much. You won't see me fave much from it, but after seeing plenty of stories involving characters going inside another character's body, the idea of someone getting swallowed whole doesn't really faze me too much as long as that person comes out alright in the end...!
Water Sports: No... Just, no!
