Soooo... my Japan trip went way under budget so I decided to spring for a 3DS and sell my old DS lite to my sweety (this way we can play games together x3) So I was wondering if anyone had friend codes or whatnot so I could add ya? :3

Being 24! Homagawd it's a vee's birthday on the 7th... I'm gonna be so oolllllldddd ><

I've only got one badge left from batch number one, so I'm gonna open up the second! We'll stick with another free set of five, though after this the batches will be sets of 10 and they'll be commissions, starting cheap for batch three and working their way up to batch 11.

For this batch I'll be doing single character sketches, nothing super fancy, just trying to get up my speed and accuracy. These will be less crisp than my badges but will include shading and a bit more realism. Hey guys! I mentioned in my last journal that I'd be starting up the 100 sketch challenge sort of thing (though I'm not going by anyone elses rules but my own x3) so lets get it started! I'm going to be taking the requests/commissions in batches of 5 (maybe 10 later) and once those are all finished, or nearly there, I'll open up the next batch of 5 and explain what it will entail. Each batch will have it's own set of rules, and will be for varying types of pieces.... sketches, coloured, badges, head shots, couples, etc. Most likely the progression will be from simplest to most complex and therefor more expensive, probably ending with 5 full cg pieces (and at that point my quality should be much better than it is currently) and I might even hold an auction depending on how much interest I've generated. But anyway... enough rambling! On to the first batch!

Batch number one is going to be sketch-badge requests, most likely in ink but I'm not making any guarantees! I'll also offer the option to have your badge coloured and/or laminated and mailed to ya for a small fee, something like $3 for one or the other, and $5 for both, depending on the complexity of the colour job.

A quick note for requesting - it's NOT first come first serve... I'll take the requests I want to, so it'll be based on a few things - I'm more likely to get mental images for a more specific request, so gimme refs and describe as much of what you want as possible. I'm not a fan of rude or demanding people, so be nais :3 And lastly, if I've done free work for you before, I'm probably not gonna pick ya again, cuz I need practice with other things! That's all ^^

Last thing... I have two pieces that I really owe people from before the challenge so they have priority, but I'm gonna list everything here and update it whenever stuff gets done! The list is also not in order of what I'm gonna do, so don't be upset if someone after you has their art finished first... you'll get yours, promise <3

I know I don't write many journals, and I really should use this time for some constructive drawing and shit, but... I just need to randomly get this stuff off my chest...

I'm really... and I mean REALLY fucking pissed at US Bank right now. I've been a loyal customer of theirs for like... 5 years now, with a checking account and credit card that I've never abused... I've almost never had overdraft fees, very rarely let my checking acct draft on my credit line, and I only once got close to the limit on the credit account. I even moved all my money from a different card onto my US Bank one because it had a lower APR... so I even decided to give them extra money.

So I pay all my bills on time for the credit card, I've only ever been like... a day late once or twice, but I always payed and I never complained about the fines when it was late. But recently I've been paying off all the debt that I'd wracked up from supporting my ex, and just feeling really nice having all that extra credit that I wasn't using, it was a nice safe feeling having that fallback. But recently, and completely without warning they've suddenly been cutting my limit every time I pay a bill... it dropped $2000 when I payed that, and then another $900 randomly this month, and it's absolutely pissing me off! To top it off... I tried to get my free credit reports for the year and none of the companies would show me them, so I have no clue whatsoever as to why my bank is suddenly fucking freaking out about my account limit that I've had with them for half a decade?

To top this all off... I found out that they'd cut my limit when I was logging in to check on their auto loans since I really need to get a new car. I'm thinking that one: there's no way in fuck they'll be giving me a loan while slashing my credit, and two: there's no way in fuck I'll be giving this bank any more money anyway...

So yeahhhhh... I'm sorry for ranting, and I'm sorry to those of you that actually read this but... yeah... Jayek is stressed and just fucking tired of life and money T_T

EDIT: I decided to retry getting my credit reports and sure enough... USBank is just being a massive dick... there's nothing wrong with it except a minor, fixed mistake with Verizon that's been there for almost two years, so why attack me now?

I feel so lurved ^^ I should really start posting some piccies for y'all to look at, eh?
