I will be there!

Today I'm recognizing 17 years of participation in the furry fandom.
Though I was definitely interested before then, January 7th, 2008 was the day I made my Fur Affinity profile.

Without FA, I wouldn't have found my second family over 16 years ago. I'm so sorry. And thank you for everything.

Today is my 16th "Furry Anniversary"! The day I signed up for an FA account back in 2008. It's astonishing to think I've been a furry this long, officially over half of my life at this point! Though I was interested in the fandom before this date, having a single day I can say I "officially" became a furry is handy. Here's to 16 more, and then some!

I'm 31 years old today 🎂

I'm 30 years old today.

March of 2020 to July 2022. It was a good run. I'm doing ok. Aches, chills, congestion.
Wear a mask, get vaccinated and boosted if you can.

Furries picking up where they had left off in 2019 as if nothing had even happened was incredible. Hugs, enthusiastic greetings, new connections, it was balm for my soul. I have lots of good photos to go through and share. For the first time back, it couldn't have been much better.

I’m 28 today.

After nearly a year-and-a-half of unemployment, I landed a job manufacturing competition pistols in central Texas. Anxious, but looking forward to my life moving again.

I will be there. Friday-Monday.

There is a 99% chance of me NOT going.
My apologies. Life has been tumultuous.
Lots of changes coming very quickly.

Back home in IL after an unsuccessful two months in Arizona.
Debating staying in IL, or trying my luck in Austin, TX in July.

At this point in time, I’ve been unemployed for more than six months.
With much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to turn some pages and move.
I’ve decided on Phoenix, Arizona as my destination due to the climate and job opportunities available there as opposed to here in Northern Illinois.
I’m excited to begin this new chapter of my life!

This is overdue, but the road trip was a success!

My cat of 14 years passed this morning. He was suffering a very rapid decline in health due to kidney failure, and the decision was made to euthanize him.
I don't quite have all I want to say about him on hand. But I will say he had a long life, and a good life, and he made our lives better. He will be dearly and sorely missed.

Ten years.
One whole decade.
That's how long I've been a furry, as of this date.
A lot has changed since way back then, both for me, and the fandom.
Would I do it all again? Absolutely. It's had such a positive impact on my life, and I can't separate myself from the furry fandom at this point. It's done so much good for me, given me so much, and created so much for me.
Without it? I really don't know who I'd be. This fandom has helped me not only stay alive, but helped me grow, and ultimately thrive as a person.
I owe the fandom so much.
Here's to another ten years.

Went last night on a drive up to Minneapolis with my best friend Alex to go and see Power Trip, Obituary, and Exodus. I left around noon and just got home about a half-hour ago (~5:42AM). Was well worth the trip!!
