10 days to my Birthday, y'all
Turning 21 on the 21st

Off on vacation from the Internet for about 8 or 9 days.
Going to St. Louis in the morning, then up to Minocqua, WI on Sunday.
Will be AFK until next Sunday, pretty much. So, if you need me, tough. Heh.

Bought a Nikon D3200

Well, my North vacation is drawing near.
As such, my mom and I have agreed that I should buy a DSLR now, before time runs out.
So, as of right now, I'm stuck between choosing a Nikon D3200 DSLR (with lens) or a Nikon D5200 DSLR (body only).
There's a $150 difference between the two, and though the D3200 comes with more options and features, I feel like I won't use the majority of them, so I'm more inclined to get the D5200.
Hrm.
EDIT: Gonna look for an older Nikon DSLR because the new ones I looked at don't accept the lens on my current SLR. So I'm looking for older Nikon DSLR's like the D70.

Still making do in my new job.
I make about $150/week, and I get paid every two weeks.
So, with that in mind, putting half away in savings, I'll hopefully be able to afford a new DSLR camera before I go on vacation in August back up to Lake Whitefish.

Yeah, no. Not happening.
WILL be working again tomorrow, BUT then I get the rest of the week off 'til Sunday.
So looking forward to having the Fourth off. Bought some cigars to continue a 4th of July tradition, since my dad's out of town.
So it'll just be me at home, having my own not-anthrocon.

I got a new part-time job. Three days a week, approximately 24 hours. :)
I wash and detail cars, and also pick up customers and deliver cars to and from repair shops.
It's quite physical, but hey, I get to keep the change I find while cleaning, I work with a great bunch of guys, and I get a whole hour for lunch! :D

Thanks to an incredibly generous friend, I'll be receiving a fursuit head in the mail very soon. It's an early Birthday present, we decided.

My grandfather's buried.

I ate some good food, met some good people, and made some good memories.
I'm still sad, but I'm through crying, and I'm ready to move on.

Will be out of town until Friday.
Heading to Chicago to attend my Grandfather's wake and funeral.
He lived to be 95. I hope I can be so fortunate when the time comes.
