A: Late and early arrival! Arriving on the 16th and leaving on the 22nd!

Posted 9 years agoAfter reading through some of the data logs from the FA admin team I think I may be staying afterall. this outage seems to be handled much better than the other times FA has gone down and I appreciate the professionalism and I have faith in the new team. I'll be keeping my FN account, but FA will remain my main.

My birthday is coming up on the 18th this month, I'll be 21! (Legal drinking age in the USA, though it's 18 here in Sweden.)
As per the tradition, I'd like to make a list of birthday wishes that this vixen would like!

Life, commission work, diets, so much going on right now!
Posted 10 years agoA warm and fluffy hello to all of you! I haven't been very active on FA as of late except for the occassional upload now and again! I apologize deeply for that, as I love to be as active and friendly around here as possible. It keeps a vixen sane during harsh times.
So what's been going on?
I've been very busy for the past couple of months, with schooling and being sick, it's left very little time to be extra creative, save for a few doodles here and there. My workload has recently slowed due to the holidays coming up, so that's rather nice. I'll relish all this newly found free time!
I've been getting help for my depression as well, and am getting an appointment for treatment set up very soon! I'm quite excited. It'd be nice to get some real help for something so taxing. It's been a major thorn in my side for so long. My quality of life will be vastly improved.
Commission work has been slowed due to all of this crazy time being put into school, as well as unforseen illnesses, problems with depression, and all kinds of other things life likes to throw at you. Thankfully, it all seems to be coming to a head, and I can finally sit down and really work with firey motivation!
I've also been slowly losing weight and getting back down to how much I weighed three years ago. I'm on a loose low carb high fat diet, and I am slowly going back to being small again. Hooray! Always a good feeling!
I hope to remain in such good spirits for as long as I can! works such long hours at his job and I'm hoping both he and I can really relax this Autumn. This is my favorite time of year, and nothing celebrates it better than surrounding yourself with the people you love, beautiful colors, pumpkins, soups, and a little bit of arting.

Posted 10 years agoI know that I am by far not the most talented person on this site, but it means a lot when someone commissions me or takes time out of their day to comment on one of my pieces.
Art in the furry fandom is one of my main passions in life, and to see people appreciate what I do; it just keeps me going and wanting to create more.
I have such lovely watchers and commissioners, you are all so patient, sweet, and kind. Thank you so much for making the furry fandom a nicer place to be.

A: A few! I've been to NFC 2014, NFC 2015, And eurofurence 20 :)

A: yes! Papatika will make her debut at this con, and The black vixen Nicole herself and Dew the Dutch angel dragon will be accompanying me.

A: hugging is all good in my book! Please do so! But snuggling would be a tad weird. Please, no thank you ^^;
Q: How can I find you?
A: I'll be all around the con! I won't have a dealer's den table this year, so that I can just focus on relaxing, so you can find me in the lobby! Look for a blue and white bird butt, an all black vixen with violet eyeshadow and white tail tip, or a lime green, red, and white dutch angel dragon! Out of suit I'm a short, black haired girl usually accompanied by her tall, brown haired and bearded fiancé.

is in a bit of trouble. Her rent is due soon for her new place, but she didn't fill her fursuit quota this time around during her opening. She could really use your help! Why not order a tail, pair of ears, or maybe even a suit to help her out?

Looking to commission an artist for a special piece!
Posted 10 years agoHey guys! I'm looking to order a very special commission from one of you lovely fluffs!
It would be a fully shaded piece with an intricate background.
I would love a sort of Queen esque picture of my fursona, with her laid out on bed in a vineyard courtyard, clothed in sensual flowing garb of middle eastern inspiration. The garb is to be the color of tyrian purple, and the cloth on the bed should be varying shades of violet. Her garb would be adorned with jingly gypsy coins and an intricate necklace would hang from her neck.
I was thinking of having male puma workers in the background, carrying baskets of grapes. One would be bowing his head and offering her grapes from his basket, but my fursona would have her gaze fixed on the viewer.
I realize this is all very oddly specific, but I don't feel like my artistic skills could do this idea justice. I've had it in my head for a while.
If anyone would like to tackle this project, please link your prices below! I'm very eager to have this illustrated! <3

Living with depression
Posted 10 years agoI know this can be a sensitive topic for some, and if you can't handle it, feel free to go ahead and click the back button now, I won't mind :)
I've had untreated depression for nearly all of my life. It's been a very quiet kind of suffering. My fiancé is aware of the disease, and I have been working on finally getting proper treatment for it. I don't personally believe in therapy for myself, so medication is the route I am taking at this point.
It's very difficult for me to talk about my depression with others. Perhaps I like rambling to the fellow members of the furry fandom the most because of the love and support, or because you guys are just so easy to talk to.
Along with the medication, I will be personally enlisting the help of an ESA, an emotional support animal. I feel this will speed up recovery leaps and bounds, as animals are very important to me, and they provide the closeness and affection that my fiancé may not be able to give me all of the time. It'll help me not fall into a relapse of sorts hopefully as well.
I feel like a constant downer to the people around me. My fiancé works very hard for me and pays all of our bills while I am at school and taking classes. He has his own stress and problems, and I feel like my depression just adds on to his list of worries. I feel like a burden. There is only so much the person who loves you can do to help. It's aggravating. I just want it to be over.
I don't want to be a walking disease anymore. I want to be me, and enjoy the things I love again. I miss being able to genuinely feel things and be honest with how my day was or how I'm doing. I want to tell people I'm feeling great and that my day was good and mean that. I know it's going to take time and care to finally cure myself of this. But I'm ready for that. I want it all to be over.
