I am back. For those of you who didn't know, I had a very bad accident. I shattered my right ankle and I had compound fractures in my left leg. I went through reconstructive surgery and I have an ass load of hardware. I may get to go home (instead of being cared for by relatives) tomorrow. Please don't take me being gone as ignoring anyone, or rude. It was a freak accident and I can show proof for those who are iffy about it. I have some copies of my radiographs, and pictures form the emergency room.

So, I've been lurking. Why? I've had no reason to do anything artistic. Truth be told, I've been depressed. Not wanting to off myself or anything. Just unable to even complete a doodle sort of depressed. So, what did I do? I started a head for a friend, this evening. I should have started it a long time ago, but I hadn't had the drive. Now that I've graduated college and I'm now an RVT, I feel a little more "free." Yes, I work 70 hours a week between both jobs, but now I feel inspired, I guess? Yes, my work is going to be choppy. I haven't done anything other than doodles on napkins for a long time. Do I mind critiquing? NO. I welcome it, as long as you aren't a prick. I'm just glad to be back.

I just want to say that I am not the monster everyone in the fandom thinks I am. I am not using this as a crutch. Mentally... I'm quick to snap and I don't mean to be. A lot gets on my nerves, easily. Thankfully, I have great friends. It's a small circle that I know personally and I feel I can trust, but my family of level headed furs have always been there. Kaltag, Ricyn, Kali, Bierzun, Yul, and Kristi (even if you're not a Therian or a fur), thank you for being there and helping me try to understand myself.

Bonfire this weekend, for my birthday. The visit will be short, but I can't wait to host my friends. It's been much too loud.

It depends on what you'd call strange. I like to collect random shit that is considered "occult" or "taboo." Bones, pentagrams, gargoyles... you name it.

My friend, Kali, is selling her amazing suit and character. Well, Kalira IS the character. The suit was only wore a hand full of times. Hell, she even made a video to display the jaw movement, in the suit.

And, honestly. While some of you find it offensive that I dislike certain furries and their certain dramas, I have this to say.

Last summer, I was involved in some drama. I was ripped off by a local suit maker. I gave her $200, and all I received was a bal, with some foam and elastic. The ears weren't even attached. I didn't even pursue it. Whatever. I took the loss. Anyway, this turned into her ripping into me for the prices that I charge for my partials and such. I'm sorry, but I don't use cheap, crap fur and I prefer higher end materials. I take a huge gash, as far as cost goes.

This escalated into them calling the Stark County Humane Society (where I am now employed), making false claims about the amount of animals that I have, and the conditions that they were kept in. They traced the number back to the couple who was doing it, and eventually got so pissed off at the repeated calls from them. Why? Wasted time, resources, and funds for bogus reports... yet they did nothing wrong, or they like to think so.

Oi. It's too early for this shit, so I'm gonna let it roll off these hackles with a smile as I go to work. We're closed, but the animals need care, too.

So, I am not dead. I'm still around. My life has been more than eventful as of late. Megan left. I was crushed, but I reconnected with a wonderful woman I should have asked to be with a VERY long time ago. My Mom had part of her skull removed, due to a tumor. My best friend and the best dog ever, died. Yeah, Gatsby is gone.

Uh... I no longer work at Walmart. I am now an officer at the Humane Society.

Not to lay out my personal issues, but you think that after sticking around after you left me for six months and not seeing anyone... taking you back... not leaving you when you were pregnant with a child that we didn't plan... supporting you through HIV and whatever else... that you should show some sort of interest in me. This is my first suit. I have to re-set the eyes, because they're not to my liking... but... can I get some input? That is a FULL set of teeth. The animal had crooked teeth, which is why the jaw looks slightly crooked. It's just a canine that sticks out too far on the bottom.

So, she's safe and I took out of my own pocket to pay for her transport, but we're still trying to raise the funds to get her hooves trimmed and such, if possible. She also needs the vet to palpate her and see if she's pregnant for sure.

This is mare 6-22-10. She has no name. She was sold to a slaughter broker. My friends and family are trying to raise funds to pull her. She has until saturday afternoon. We need $730 more to get her out of the slaughter house and to our barn. Thank you.
