I've re-written my TOS and commission info in preparation for the new year. All my full time jobs keep falling through (who would've thought an art degree would be so useless in finding decent employment? wOW.), but either way I'd like to open up for work again in january/february after I finish the painting I'm working on now.

Also merry Yule-mas or something. Spike the eggnog.

My day job started, so Im cutting my queue down to 3 slots for the next couple months. I wont be advertising my commissions as much but still going to take them for those interested! Art things have definitely slowed down, and I've considered closing up before the end of the year to go back to focusing more on improving my art and re-developing my portfolio (now that I'm not hopelessly broke and unemployed anymore lol)

But I also wanted to thank those who commissioned me. This move has been absolute hell, and shortly after I landed a job offer and put my deposit on a new place, they retracted the offer because of budget cuts, leaving me again unemployed with a lot of bills just around the corner. So you guys have really saved my skin these past couple weeks! Ive since gotten a new (better) job, and will start work in the next few days!

I've been playing around with this inking style that I like, and experimenting with putting on color. You've probably seen in in a few of my recent posts:

What are your opinions on it? Do you like seeing this kind of work, or do you prefer cleaner lines and smoother shading?

I have mixed feelings about it, and am having trouble figuring out where to go with it, so I'd love to get some honest feedback on it.

Commissions are still closed for now.

Health-wise, things are doing a little better, but I'll most likely be starting a very large painting for someone, as well as a small commission for a returning customer, which we had discussed beforehand, so I still wont be taking new commission work yet until that's all finished. Also still working full time at the job that actually pays my bills (lol) as well, but we'll see.

Also getting very close to 100 watchers (woo~) so I may be doing a raffle to celebrate in the future (still have a ways to go, I'm 8 watchers away at the time I'm writing this, but eventually)

Not taking any paid work for a while due to some health issues. I had hoped to open up again with the new year but that's not going to happen

I'll be doing personal work here and there just to keep myself sane, but I can't handle the added workload of paid work with a deadline.
