Helo! I'm not dead!!

Life's been VERY busy for a while, but things are finally starting to calm down. I've been doing some stuff behind the scenes in the meantime, namely:

1. I've finished uploading my backlog to Itaku! I know I made a journal about it recently, but now you won't have to be bombarded by nearly 300 uploads :''D there's a good amount of stuff on there that hasn't seen this account, some things from my previous side-account and some things i only uploaded to twitter/TG previously.

2. I'm preparing to open for commissions soon! I don't have an exact date but sometime within a week. I plan on -actually- picking and choosing which ideas to take this time; no more accepting all ideas for my own sanity's sake :''D

I also have a handful of single-slot YCHs that will open before then, all featuring Stix. \o/ I'll try to spread the love to some of my other boys later but You Know™

just letting yall know that i have an itaku and I really, really like the site so far. the tag blacklisting system is a gamechanger for how i'm able to interact with other artists in a safer way where i'm not forced to choose between "follow no one" and "possibly be exposed to content that mentally harms me due to my many, many sensitivities that unfortunately overlap with my interests" :''D I'll (hopefully) be following a lot more people there than I can currently on fa/twitter.

I don't have much uploaded there yet but I fully intend to upload the majority of my gallery there. there'll also be more things like smaller sketches that sometimes don't make it here that might be new to you if you only follow me here, haha

Hello everyone. Sorry for being absent. I've tried a few times to write a post like this, let's hope this is the one that makes it :')

Long story short, I've been going through a rough period with my identity and my art. I have not felt like I am free to draw whatever I would like in fear that it wouldn't be popular/doesn't match my previous work/etc. I feel such a strong disconnect from my peers in both the furry community and the vore community that has made me extremely insecure; that I am somehow "incorrect" or "bad" because I don't share the same interests. It sucks. (To clarify, these are self-imposed insecurities. No one is to blame for this but myself.)

I want to do my best to overcome this, which may involve some changes. Changes may or may not include a larger focus on fanart/human art/kinks other than vore, a shift/experimentation of my art style, and a change/possible retirement of my fursona.

If these changes are not to your interest, I apologize and understand. I hope you may find content you enjoy better elsewhere. I NEED this space to be a reflection of my interests, as otherwise I have nowhere else to go.

You may have noticed I've been a bit gone recently, haha, I apologize for that! Life's been Life™ recently, but I think I'm getting back into the swing of things.

I am planning on opening for commissions soon™, though I apologize I do not have a concrete date for that yet. (maybe???? this week????????) I have updated my prices to better reflect both time spent and also the Fun™ Paypal™ Fun™ Fun™™ Tax™ Fun™ situation, which hit me a bit harder than I was expecting :'')

Before I open for commissions, however, I have a couple flat price prey YCHs that I'll be offering. They were mostly done so I could stretch my Arting Muscles, though if they go well I might consider offering more in the future 👉👈 So keep a look out for those in the coming days!

Howdy! Just a quick little update that my commission sheet's gotten a makeover-- some slight price adjustments, some options have been simplified, and I'm now offering sketches!

Also I'm planning on opening for commissions sometime this week. No specific days in mind, but it will be like last time, where the form will be open for a few days and I will pick and choose which to do, so there's no rush ^^

Howdy! Long time no see, I know; I really need to keep yall more updated here ;w;''

If you've been following my twitter/TG you might have known I've been going through a bit of a, I guess you could call it a slump? Simply put, my social energy was in the negatives and my desire to draw/participate in Furry™ Things™ dipped to 0 as well. I also was very unhappy with my art in general and wanted to try and move it in a direction I liked more. I took some time off and, while I'm still not 100% on the socializing part, I feel a little better about my art and am ready to get somewhat back into the swing of things.

Part of that has been me realizing how much I love human vore. I've been holding back on creating it for such a long time because I've been worried about the reception and the lack of performance it has, but I'm finally getting it through my thick head that that doesn't matter. If I'm drawing for myself, I should draw what I enjoy. I don't need to change what I draw for my own personal enjoyment in order to maximize its performance; it was really weighing me down that I felt like I couldn't draw what I wanted even on my own time. I didn't realize how much it was impacting me until very recently. It was totally self-afflicted, I'm not blaming anyone other than myself;; the good news is that means it's a much easier fix!

So, what does that mean for here? Not too much; only that there will (hopefully) be a bit of an uptick in both personal art I do for myself as well as human art. This isn't me saying non-human art's off the table; especially for commissions, I don't plan on taking away that option anywhere. There will just hopefully be an addition to incoming content, not a substitution for it.

Howdy, an announcement today! It's not a very big one, at least for this account. I'm going to be merging my account  thescribblychicken with this one!

What does that mean for this account? It means you might start seeing some kink content unrelated to vore! (such as possession/tf/paws/plush/general micro stuff/multi/etc)

Don't worry though! The vast, VAST majority of what I'll be posting will still be vore! It's what I draw the most, kink-wise at least, haha. Just don't be surprised if you see some non-nom stuff here in the future!

I'll also try to continue my efforts of being less shy to posting more lower-quality stuff here in the future. The response to the lugia sketches were really encouraging so I'll try to keep that in mind, that not everything has to be 100% Perfect And Completed to be eligible for posting O|-<

And for a more general life update, I've officially graduated from college! \o/ It's been such a relief to my mental state and I've been drawing more in the past few weeks than I have in the past 6 months.

I also have a new tablet, which I have been getting used to these past few weeks as well. I'm now fairly confident in using it and am comfortable doing larger pieces with it now!

And uh...that's about it!
Right now my biggest priority is finishing my current commission workload! \o/ (and maybe posting a handful of comms i never got around to posting bc im bad at that jfdsklfjksld)

Thought I might as well toss up a small life updates thing here, since it's been a hot minute.

I've been very busy finishing up my last semester of college! In 3 weeks' time, I'll be a big ol' graduatin boi and free from the shackles of essays and projects, thank the loooord (which means I can finally go whole hog into preparations for moving out next year and AAAAA IM SO READY TO LEAVE)

I apologize to those who still have owed commissions from me; school has been taking up much more of my time than I anticipated, and I took on way too many commissions at once for the amount of time I ended up having to work on them, that was a huge mistake on my part. I'm still fully planning on finishing them, but progress will continue to be slow until the semester is over in 3 weeks' time. I can't express how grateful I am how patient yall have been with me, I appreciate it so, so much. ;;;_;;;

Separately, I've also been considering merging my secondary kink account  thescribblychicken with this one! This account wouldn't be going anywhere, but would occasionally have content unrelated to vore posted to it, such as possession/TF/etc, as well as have lower-quality vore content, like the lugia sketches. I've spent a long time wanting this account to be just high quality vore stuff and nothing else, but I kind of feel like I'm limiting myself with that and separating things out across accounts. I'd also be renaming my twitter account closer to this account's name, since having both 'scribbly' and 'disgusting' in the rotation is kind of confusing. Just having 'disgusting' across the board would make a lot more sense.

I'm not completely solidified on the idea yet, but I'm leaning towards it. I apologize if this means I start posting content you may not enjoy, but believe me, vore will always be the most common thing on this account, it's just, What I Like To Do The Most.

My general art will still go to my general account  thedorkychicken (though the vast, vast majority of my general content/sketches are on my telegram channel), it'll just be all my kink work in one place here.
