To be honest, I never really fit in here. I hate porn, and I only really made this account in the first place was to keep in touch with  farellemoon for the times I've commissioned her plus keeping contact open with furs I've met personally, which is only 4 including Farelle. That, for me is no longer reason enough to stay. I have a Facebook account, so I will be using that to keep in touch with Farelle and whomever else.

It's been an interesting experience as a furry for these past three and a half years (gosh has it REALLY been that long?), but I'm glad to finally be turning the page on the next phase of my life.

I'm gonna go for it.

I've got several pages of doodles I've made during work (free time being useful), and I've decided to go ahead and put them up without running them through my photoshop, since it's been acting up recently. So, keep an eye out!

...I didn't make the cut for the tournament I was Auditioning for. I really put a lot of effort into the five pages I made, but I guess there's no substitute for experience. I'll be posting the pages I made here within the next couple days, and don't worry about me. I'm glad I went through with it. I showed discipline and I've never seen my art look so good before. I'm a better artist because of this, and I don't regret a bit of it.

I had the money, so I did it. I bought myself a brand, awesome new Wacom Intuos4 digital drawing tablet last night. I know it was expensive, but if I'm gonna be a professional animator someday, then I'm gonna need to start practicing with the big boy toys. That same night I tried it out and cranked out a full side view sketch of Conductor Chameleon in the span of about three hours using the Pencil tool.

I am very much looking forward to using this for my big tournament project on deviantArt.



I'm just so happy now!!!

As some of you know, I am a resident of the largest of the mainland United States of America, Texas.

I am not a born-Texan, though; I moved down here from my home-State, Michigan, almost seven years ago. I won't go into a lot of details right now, but the fact of the matter is that I am currently revisiting the "Land of Two Peninsulas" to be with family for a week.

I did not, however, take my laptop with me.

That means I cannot work on coloring my latest Vetarona LineArt commission from  razzek. I also cannot finish a gift art piece I promised  farellemoon either.

I will be back home in Santa Fe, Texas on the 15th of May, and I'll be able to get to finishing those pieces then as well. To those I mentioned, please be patient, I'll be done with them soon enough. Thank you.

I've been going through the "Manga Artist's Workbook" recently, and I've found that I'm actually pretty good at sight copying. I'm only three pages into it, but I'm already astonished with what I've put out so far. My training is working!

This journal is really just to get the generic "FA is back!" journal off my page. Sorry to disappoint.

Wow, the site was down for a whole week or so. It's back now, and I'm happy to say that I'll have something new up very shortly.

It's been a while since I updated my Journal. Man, I ought to pay more attention to this stuff, ya know? I guess it's because not much has been happening around here lately.

Well...there was that one thing about me trying to enter a dA Original Character Tournament (OCT). It didn't pan out, though; I can't say I'm not disappointed with myself about that. I may end up posting the reference pics for my entrant OCs here, but I don't know for sure.

I must say, however, that I've had so much fun being a part of this awesome community. I've met and commissioned so many super-talented furries, and I hope to do so even more in the future! I'm not going to be able to ask or pay for any new commissions from people for a while, though; as I am saving up for two things.

The first thing for which I am saving is my first Tablet PC! I am almost there! I am so close I canTASTE IT!!!!!

I am also saving up for going to TFF this February. I am going to attend for three primary reasons:
1. To follow up on  corsi's Filk class with "Modern Gamer General.
2. To pick up my commissions from  farellemoon (she's had such a hard time wrestling with life lately).
3. I just had SO much fun last year, I just HAVE to go again!

That break really was just what I needed. I've got some new pics to share, and I'm SO glad to be back in touch with the community.

I just tried it for the first time in years today!!

I had my first real spill on the rink floor. Yeah...fell right onto my tailbone (not fun). It sure didn't help that I'd been fighting off an annoying headache earlier in the day. The impact traveled right up my spine and aggravated that little sucker.

I got back on the floor, though! It took me several minutes to recuperate, and one of the aides came over and said I needed to help her fill out a record for the accident, but I GOT BACK OUT THERE!!! My older brother, who drove me to the rink in the first place, gave me some very valuable pointers and helped me ever-so-patiently get the hang of things.

By the time we left I hadn't truly gotten the technique down yet, but I was getting close! From complete and utter beginner to nearly grasping the side-to-side motion, I'd say I'm satisfied with that progress.

Apart from that, it was a pretty uneventful day.

I've got a proposition. I'm going to try to do some AMV commissions for people. Here's my plan:

If you won't hold to this part of the issue, I'm sorry, but I'll have to refuse the order until you do.

To be honest, lyricless music is my favorite, and I'll almost always accept a commission that includes such a track. If I find that the video clips are offensive, though; I will refuse the commission.

Payment through PayPal is preferred, and please don't send me cash in the mail. It probably wont make it.
