Dragon Age II review.
Likes:
Gameplay; At first this was really a low point for me, I didn't care for the changes much, but after awhile it started to make me play better. I enjoyed how it was more integrated, made you feel like you where actually apart of the battle instead of watching, and because of that it causes you to think faster having to issue commands to your party, or make sure they heal themselves faster, even with the preset tactics on.

Graphic Design: This too I Initially wasn't fond of especially with the massive changes they made to he character design, the weapons, and the armor, BUT, like the gameplay, it did wear one me enough for me to accept and begin to love how detailed each character was, and how they really went into making sure each character was more unique than the last.

Story: This is what really did it for me, in my honest opinion this story trumps the first game. It was more in depth as well as engaging, I found myself wanting to continue the game and finish the story more often than I did with Origins. There was plenty of intrigue as well as guess. And the way they had a character narrate a lot of the plot lines I did enjoy. I also enjoyed how your character wasn't apart of an all powerful group or automatically accepted into one. I enjoyed having to work from the bottom up and slowly gained a reputation. I also like the references to the older game, as there was a ton if you paid attention. Not enough games do that, and I feel they should for sequels.

Characters: This was another plus for me, As the characters gave the game a real depth to it. A lot of the character interactions where upgraded from the original, and the conversations they have if you listen to them are quite hilarious, especially when you have Varric, Isabella, and Aveline in your party.

Now the Dislikes:
Mana/potions: I know there was a cool down for them in Origins, but the cool down was not as long as it is in DAII. It just seemed like they felt mages where too over powered wanted the cool down for them to use the spell again.
The world: This could be more of a neutral point, but I found it a little of a let down that I was not able to explore this country/continent like I was able to on the last Dragon Age. All you get to do in this one is the City, and the surrounding area.

Elves: This one bothered me the most. Granted this is only my opinion and How I feel about things but elves are supposed to look regal, and gorgeous and fragile. Not sickly and cat like. A lot of time they looked too much like the cat people in the craptastic movie Avatar. The eyes where too big, and they looked sickly and like they where all suffering from lack of calcium in their lives so their skeletons decided to cave in.

In Conclusion: In the end I give this game an 8/10 score. I really enjoyed this game and will replay it through again. But in the end it is not my opinion that matters it is yours and don't let mine or anyone else's opinion sway you, go out and get the game and play it yourself if you want to!

Legends Speak of gods of the past holding untold power. In their number where 12, 12 to keep the balance of the world, represented on the mortal planes as walking animals. But the 12 did not get along, there were many wars and devastation caused by the hand these gods. The lord of all Evil, the Jackal layed waste to all his lands, Dominating over all, and wishing to be king, Under his control was the Hyena, Snake, Alligator. King of the Good gods the noble Lion, fought back against the Jackal causing more devastation, Under him, the noble Wolf knight, the powerful bear, and the quick rabbit. Then there where the gods who could not be controlled the gods of Chaos, the most devasting was the Goddess of War The Tiger. Seeing the devastation the wise Red Panda, tricked the rest of the gods, making a deal with the most powerful of magi, He called a truce, gathering all the gods in one room. Not knowing the folly the entered the Room and then entrapped into golden statues that represented themselves, even the Red panda allowing himself to be placed in a statue. Over the years the Statues where spread about the world, and after decades turned to centuries and centuries turned to millennia, their legend, became myth, and then their myth was all but forgotten. We fast forward to the 1930’s Where we see 2 treasure hunting teams, One lead By Don Alejandro a hunter of much renown known as The Don, Don amongst his friends leading a team that isn’t really all there, against their rivals and an unknown fore. Will they be able to find all the statues for themselves or will they get beaten at every turn…tune in to find out!
