So, Shy is gone for like, the next three weeks.

Pretty sure I am just gonna lose my mind and go insane. Like, I honestly don't know what to do without her around.

My birthday is rolling around again. Always sucks, cause it makes me think of how much time I waste. But beside the point. This year Shy has gotten me something, which makes me super suspicious. Anyone who finds out gets a dollar. GOGO

Well, had a great time at TFF this year. Definately didnt feel as awkward as I have in the past, which is nice. Shyloh definately had a good time too, so everything was fun fun. Hope to see everyone again next year!

So, I have been an almost strictly PC gamer for several years now. Nothing was coming out on console that sparked my interest and made me want to buy anything. However, recently my special wub wub got herself one and got the new Smash Bros game, so as a trip down memory lane for myself I bought one as well.

I feel so old saying this, but I remember when you only could get those kind of graphics with a memory expansion you had to plug into your 64..

So, after far too many years, I might finally be getting a promotion at work. It sucks, cause its a crappy sales job, but I need something to drive me to get into school again. Yay.

I hate how I never seem to improve at things. I focus and I struggle to find flaws in myself, but I dont feel I have ever gotten better. This is incredibly frustrating for me. I hate being stuck as the jack-of-all-trades. I would give it all to just be really good at one thing.

Okay, every time I hear that name, I cant help but friggin Spaceballs it up. LOOONESTAAARR...

Anyways, an aside.

So, I downloaded the Wildstar beta. I have a sordid affair with MMO games, so I tend to look at them on a few different levels.

The first thing that strikes me about the game is the presentation. The art, the sounds, the music, everything just ties the game together. Its so awesome. I know most people dont like it because of the artstyle, that older, less realistic, more cartoony look, but I think its so perfect for the game. Its really consistent, and the textures are well done. There is a distinct WoW influence, but its perfectly acceptable, because its just really well done. And cmon folks, who didnt love the old, airy feel of WoW zones?

The second is mechanics. Its definitely an MMOARPG. Every class, every fight, is about movement. Dodging attacks, landing your own, it all makes the actual act of fighting fun. No auto attacks. No just hitting buttons. You gotta aim. Its delightful. Ive played a spellslinger and esper so far, and the spellslinger is so fun. The esper is mechanically different, and enjoyable in its own way. I want to try out the other classes as well, but I doubt I will get to it before release. OH WELL, GUESS ILL JUST BUY IT THEN!

Third. I dont know how to really put this. I was in all the Elder Scrolls Online beta weekends. It was fun. It was a solid game. But I would only play for an evening, then put it down. It lacked that addictive quality that makes MMOs fun. Well, for me, Wildstar has it. I dont know what it is, but its there.

So far, I am loving it, and Ill post more about it later. For now, PEW PEW CUPCAKES, PEW PEW!

So, I have discovered a secret. Though I be a passable league player, I am a terribad DOTA player. This is a serious flaw, and as much as I try, I do not improve very quickly.

Sometimes, I have a big mouth. I usually think things through before saying them, not because I worry that I will hurt peoples feelings, but more just because I want to make sense and express myself correctly. This normally means I put my foot in my mouth, on many occasions. The irony there..

Well, just wanted to point out a flaw in myself. I will work on doing better in the future!

Anyone have Titanfall and care to join someone really bad at it? Lemme know.
