I'm done with Pokemon
Posted 11 years agoSo this weekend is the 'Think fast' event on Pokémon X/Y. You had to go online like a month before hand to get into it. What happens in this event is you have a very short amount of time to type in moves and react to what the other player is doing. Since normally I played like that anyway, going as fast as I can without second guessing myself, I thought I'd feel right at home and do pretty well.
I was horribly wrong.
In about an hour, I suffered 5 losses out of 5 games I played. 3 of them I could not even touch the other player. So yeah, I suck hard at Pokémon.
It is time to face facts, I'll never be any good at the game. Might as well just drop it as a whole. So for everyone who helped me get the Pokedex, or fought me, or wanting to fight me, sorry. I'm just done with this game. There is no point in playing something if all I ever do is lose.

Today is a Maybe Snow Day
Posted 12 years agoWhat is a "Maybe Snow Day" you ask?
I work at my public library. Normally we are open in any and all weather. A week or so ago, when it was like 2 degrees in PA, we were still one of the few places open. But today my area is calling for about 7 inches of snow. While no one can be 100% sure if we'll get that much, the library doesn't want to take that chance.
Right now, there is really nothing heavy falling outside, but MAYBE later there will be. Or not. That is the joy of a maybe snow day.
So what should I do with my Maybe Snow Day?
I work at my public library. Normally we are open in any and all weather. A week or so ago, when it was like 2 degrees in PA, we were still one of the few places open. Tomorrow, I will be holding a card game learn / get together / see if there is interest in my area for the new My Little Pony CCG.
If you have your own cards and want to play, cool. If not, I will be more than willing to help you learn and see if the game is for you.

Posted 12 years agoLike every year, who cares? Why do I post these journals each year anyway? Well, they are nothing more then a safe place where I can say my life is a swirling pit of nothing and that I never have any fun, friends, or love. Even when people offer stuff for me, I just turn it away. Why bother wasting anything for me when they can use the money / time for themselves?
So yeah, I am not looking for "Oh poor you" comments or anything. Like every year, I am just letting out a big, depressed sigh at my life and how much I hate it.
Like I always say, my Birthday is always just another day where nothing happens for a person no one cares about.

I just got a kick back of myself, all my emotions and feelings over the last few months or so hit me full force. I was on the floor in tears. Said floor is now covered in my tears, snot, and drool. I cried about how no one in real life likes me, how I am alone, how I suck for not getting a job in my field after over a year of non stop searching, and how the world would be better off if I just die right now.
I can see no one coming to my wake and myself dying alone and a 25 year old mega virgin. (never been on a date, kissed anyone, ect)
So yeah, my life sucks. It sucks hard.

This past weekend, my car started to crap out. The gears wern't shifting and it just felt like a bad ride. Well on Sunday I dropped it off at the garage and just now today got the call back about how much everything is going to cost.
I owe $3000. I got $900 to my name.
Help.

Enot creates the P.A.P. challange!!!
Posted 13 years agoYes, I, The_Enot, am creating a brand new challange for all artists. I call it the "Please All People" challange, or P.A.P.
The rules are simple. You must draw and post one picture for each of the Fetish / Furry Specialty. Here are the detailed rules:
1) You must draw one picture for each of the Fetish / Furry Specialty items found when you hit the browse button then go into type.
2) You must post each final art of the fetish in order as is written on the list in the type tab. If you want to post a WIP, those can be in any order.
3) Every piece of art must only be one page. You can make a comic out of it if you so wish, so long as it still fits on one page. No flash comics like I have made in the past. (example of flash comic: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4689905/ )
4) You can make the picture Tame or Adult.
5) If you have them (and I know you do), you must use your own characters.
6) Each picture has to focus on one fetish. No mixing 2 or more into one. (like saying you covered Micro and Vore are in the same picture)

Ok, Now I am finally and truely found my drive to make a pony comic that I wanted to make for a while. I was on the fence about it of course, since it was not Enot art, but ya know what? Screw that. Enot art is still alive and well, but I need a job darn it. My name is Rachel Enot. I am a raccoon with the worlds best, fluffiest, and softest tail. I got a bunch of friends and we all have fun together.
Well I was off the grid for a while now. I have been working on finding work. I found a small job with little hours and little pay, but it is still better then nothing at all. I am currently working with a friend on getting a full scale project up. This project might help with money but more then that, it will help both of our portfollios. I am also now trying to work on a web TV show. A short show but a show none the less.
I also started a blog where I am going to review stuff. I do this to help my writing and get my feelings out there. Blog found here: http://comickathy.blogspot.com/
So yeah, sorry to not being around for much, like at all. I do hope to fix that and get back into Enot comics as well.

Got it at long last! Hooray me!
Posted 14 years agoI just got my own grad gift I bought myself. Since I am done with college, I wanted to get something I promised myself I'd get if I passed all my classes. Well that day was finally today!! I got a new video game system, one controller, and 3 games. The system I got is. . . . . .
NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM!!!! Or NES for short.
Yeah, I finally got my first even NES. I grew up with a N64 and gameboy pocket, soo the old systems like NES, SNES, and gameboy brick (face it, that grey thing is a brick) I never had. Well now I got an NES. I am very happy.
Now what games did I get you ask? Well one of them is a gameing must. I got Tetris. NES Tetris. Yeah, I am awesome. Another game I got was Ghost n Goblins. I know, that game turns people insane. Well I am already insane so that gives me a leg up for this kind of game. The last game is one I never tried before. I got Startropics. I hear only good-ish things about it, so I figued why not? (also, the store I bought from had a buy 2 used games, get one 1 free deal.)
Now for the second bit of news, Commissions. I'll be starting them after I move out of my current apartment (lease is up in april and that was planned) and into a new place to live. I'll also have set prices when I start up commissions. But even before commissions, I got a few pieces of art to finish up (looking at you brianpegasus) and I very much want to start up Enot comics again. The reason why Enot comics was not moving was final finals in college, then when I was done with college, I had to remember the whole storyline I was working on. I mean, I know the story I want to tell, but I had to remember how I wanted to tell it. But it will still be a Chris and Jaz story mainly, that much I am sure of.
That is all I have to tell you all right now. If anyone has a copy of Balloon Fight and /or Ducktails for the NES they want to give me, I'll gladdly take it for free. (joking. But I do want those games someday.)

I got my BA in Animation. (there is this really long title, but i forget what it is. heh heh)) Now I am taking a one week break from college to just relax and live life to the fullest. Thinking about streeking.
After that week, I am going to job hunting. However, I am thinking of doing something I have never done before: Commissions. If anyone ever did commissions before can help me get some numbers they use for prices, that would be a big help. But this week, I'll be trying to get all my gifts I promised people done since now I am no longer in college and have finals to keep my from Enot and all you great and wonderful people. Well I am getting done with college in the coming weeks, I am thinking about my future and how scared I am to get into the working world with my lack of skills and my easily depressed nature. No jobs for sure yet, but I am at least looking into places around the east coast. Closer to home.
Anyway, bad news, good news, bad news time
Bad news: I got into a very very minor accident today. I was in a left turn, 3 cars ahead of me stopped hard to not hit the little old lady who was crossing the street when she never had the light, and she was going about 30 feet an hour. So I rear ended someone. Still have a bit of whiplash right now. A bit dizzy, but nothing a good nights rest won't cure. Anyway, the person I hit, I made sure they were ok, changed info with the person, and all that is square now.
Good news: I am making Enot stuff again, or at least I am in the mood to. but before I get into the comic once more I want to offer out ONE free request per person. That is right, each commenter get to say one thing they want to see Rachel, chris, and / or any of the Enot gang. Heck, you can even add in a request of your character interacting with mine. Just make sure to suggest my guys doing stuff
