My question is: how do you get into the mood to write? What do you do to maintain that writing state and keep off the dreaded writers' block?

I wish I could draw anthros properly. I'd love to draw my main and semi-main characters (I only planned on having and fleshing out ONE character but the semi-main one became more important as time went on. ^^; ).
Oh well. Maybe I'll go shopping at some point in the future. xD;;

So... after having had an idea developing in my mind for a while I finally took the plunge to ask permission from another user to be able to write and post my spin-off to their series.

And they've said Yes.


So begins my story writing of what could be a one-off or could be a few stories.
Currently it's codenamed 'Project Sandcat' because:

a) I want to keep what series it's based off a surprise until I've posted it up.
b) The main character is to be a young female Sand Cat.
c) I can't think of a suitable title right now... xD


So yeah, let's see how this goes. And let's hope I can do it justice. XD

It's strange isn't it?

Strange how some people think if they act like an idiot, then suddenly start badmouthing other idiots that they can somehow look 'cool' in front of those who previously pointed out their stupidity.

... It's even stranger when they realise that it's not working they then attempt to badmouth the people who point out their stupidity, and end up blocking them to attempt to 'prove a point' when they can't handle the verbal kicking they end up getting...

They're an awesome punky band. I don't look like the sort to go see that kind of music. I'm a Sci-Fi Geek for god's sake (outside of the 'suit).

So, it's come to the break and I know when I'm moving back to continue with my university course (third year of).

So it's time to get part-time work. x.x; Oh dear.
Ah well, part-time work = money = better chance of seeing some of my American friends next summer.

Or if not that then affording the hotel room for the next con in October will be less of a blow to my finances. xD
