Lots of "life" going on. I'm trying to find time to do more completed personal works. I have LOTS of sketches done, but they're all unfinished, and my motivation to finish them is more on the "non-existent" side...

I'm not on FA a lot since I work a lot, but I'm still open for commissions. Send me a note me if you're interested; I try to check them twice a week.

So, there has been a lot of stuff going on and I have been severely behind on drawing.

Thanks to the new update for a special game that I love, I have a new crush, and I've uploaded him.

Also, I'll be opening commissions sometime this week. I'm hoping to update with commission pricing tomorrow, but I'll probably put it off again. Who knows. Probably just keep it really basic for now... More info to come.

I need to draw more.

I love my job, and I love that I can pay bills and afford the niceties in life. However, there needs to be more draw time. I'll figure it out eventually.

...like that commission pricing list I've been working on for.. months... lol

I have been trying to "Level Up" my skills here, since the whole furry thing is still VERY new to me. Recently, I was able to sketch out a couple of things and worked on them over the weekend (the red husky and a wingless-dragon). Let's see how antiquated this journal is when, two years from now, I'll be looking at this "recent submissions" thing and giggling at my inability to keep up with myself. Ha!

I've also been noodling with the thought of doing commissions. Here's the problem, though: I've never really *done* commissions, and I'm definitely not a big name in this community. There's going to be some thinkun' to be done, because it would be fantastic to get some commissions going.. :) It's something I've always wanted to do, but have always kind of put off because it can be difficult to make prices that feel fair. Information on that to come later, and hopefully soon!

Anyway, thank you to any new followers and any new commenters and any new hecklers.. lol I've been a member on FA for 10 years, but I've really only been active the last... 2? Here's to goals! :D

Every time I start to draw a male character, it somehow turns out like this:

Super masculine head --> super feminine body --> super feminine head --> maybe a femboy? that would be nice; I can deal! --> breasts; I guess this is a female character now? --> futa or nah? --> yup. this is definitely a female character now.

I end up liking it more than I thought afterwards, but I really, REALLY want to draw some guys! I'm *barely* drawing anthro as it is. This community is still fairly new to me, and trying to draw anthro/furry is still new territory for me, too. It's riddled with frustration and challenges, but maybe that's why I'm trying to do this more?

Anyway, I know I have, like, THREE pictures up right now, but my sketches are all female, save two-or-three, and I'm too irritated with what I have to finish them right now. Ha!

I mean, I'm not giving up! Just venting! I know you guys have some annoying times, too! Drawing is fun for me when it flows, but when I'm in an art block.. HOO-BOY. You look back and think, is this the only view I draw? Is this the only pose I can muster up? I need to really get back into figure study and contour sketches and anatomy and all of that mess. My art style is satisfactory, but after a while, I'm not going to be satisfied with just "making it look nice.

What about you guys? When have you been frustrated with art? What do you do when you get frustrated? HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF ART SLUMPS?!
